I had fun playing ball at this indoor court. Always some other people there for a good look up game.
Jenksen B: ★★★★★
We love this place! The pool is always clean and the staff welcoming. We highly recommend especially with summer coming!

The rec center has tons of free or low-cost programs for kids, seniors, and the general populace. For instance, it's right next to the middle school, so they offer free drop-in things for the kids to theoretically keep them out of trouble. There are also volleyball and basketball leagues, dog agility people, those folks who dress up in armor and battle, and probably many more I don't know about.

Go Green Assassins! This was my first time actually visiting the recreation center here in Allied Gardens. I pass by all the time when I walk my dog in the park, but never visited the rec center. I came here to watch my Wish kids volleyball game. She's on Allied Gardens Volleyball, Team Green Assassins and so far they have been undefeated this season. It was cool to watch them play. They were really good and of course won the game tonight! One more game next week and they make it into the Playoffs! Yay! This is in my neighborhood, so it was really easy to get to. It's not a huge and brand new facility, but it fits in the community perfectly. It was actually a busy evening. The street was lined with cars and the parking lot was full. I parked a little further away in a different lot which was not close to being full. There were a couple of soccer games going outside and volleyball practice inside for younger children. Definitely get there early to park and find a seat. The court area is not a large area, which it could be a bit bigger. There's really only one long bench that runs along one side of the court. So if you don't arrive early, your only choice is to hang out and watch from the doorway, and that's it. Definitely needs more bench seating for large crowds. I'll be back soon to watch the Playoffs! :)

We went to the outdoor concert in the park last Friday evening, Sept. 6th, 2019 & had a great time. The band was "High Tide Society" playing a classic mix of Yacht Rock. The band played from 6 pm to 8:15 pm & the large crowd had wonderful time dancing the night away. Another positive aspect, this is a very friendly dog park & dogs are also welcome to attend the concert. Ideal Plumbing provided much of the free food which included hot dogs, grilled cheese sandwiches, chips & bottled water. Grocery Outlet gave out free popcyles & Ponce's Mexican restaurant offered free chicken or beef tacos. People brought their blankets & beach chairs, ice chests & anything comfortable to relax on to enjoy the music, friendly neighborhood atmosphere & beautiful weather. This is a large grassy park, with a 1/2 mile circular sidewalk for those avid walkers or runners. There's a large, safe playground for the children to play on & 2 basketball courts, indoor & outdoor. There are many picnic benches scattered throughout this friendly park & it's a popular place to celebrate birthdays & holidays. Also there are many exercise, yoga & self defense classes that meet here. There are several very large trees that provide much needed shade & comfort on those hot summer days. There are public bathrooms that are open during public hours. As for parking, there is plenty of on street parking as well as a parking lot just for the park, with handicap spaces. This is a very safe park with little, if any, crime reported. No graffiti, drug or alcohol use is allowed. The park is very well lit during the evening hours & no overnight camping/sleeping is allowed. There are many trash cans & doggie poop bags available for free. Everyone pitches in to keep this park clean, beautiful & safe for all, young & old to enjoy.

Well I have been to many Parks and Recreation Centers here in San Diego and I have to say this one is not bad lots of green Grassy Areas and the indoor Basketball court is pretty cool !! There is also a playground for kids . As I was walking around the rec center it had bathrooms and there is places for you to walk in and out . Doors were open and it's a park for everyone !! Good for walking or jogging or even just to relax !! Overall I just felt it was kind of far but if it was closer it would be my go to park . If I happen to be in the area I shall return and enjoy this park again !!
Shed Cast: ★★★
Just giving you people a heads up I think the tall one working there is going through people's bags .Mr Bradley's son Bill had 5 bucks stole from his backpack around the same time the tall one was laughing it up with Ron.
Yazmin Muñoz: ★★★
I really like this park for little kids, but open the bathrooms! C'mon man.

Please stop approving festivals that have horrible music blasting all weekend. People screaming into microphones is not a good look.
Bruce Crook: ★★
