2 tennis courts, 2 layover pickleball courts at Carpinteria Community Pool in Carpinteria, CA. The Carpinteria Community Tennis Courts are free for use on a first-come, first-served basis on Sundays. Pickleball players must bring their own gear, including nets, on Sundays. During the rest of the week, tennis and pickleball players may access the courts by making a reservation online at https://carpinteriaca.gov/parks-and-recreation/ and going through the Carpinteria Community Pool at 5305 Carpinteria Ave. to pay and pick up pickleball equipment and access information. Please note that the Community Tennis Courts are available to the public during the hours when Carpinteria Middle School is not in session. The courts are located on the corner of Palm Avenue and 8th Street, and play is first-come-first-served. Players are responsible for bringing their own equipment. Carpinteria Community Library cardholders can check out a set of pickleball racquets and balls at the library, 5141 Carpinteria Ave.

Pickleball: Pickleball players: The WEST court is FREE TO PLAY! No reservations needed! Just show up, grab a paddle, and join in on some spontaneous pick-up games. All games are FREE to play. Just remember to bring your own balls, paddles, and racquets to keep the fun rolling.

RESERVE TENNIS & PICKLEBALL ONLINE
With the City of Carpinteria’s new online reservation system, tennis or pickleball players can schedule their playtime at the Carpinteria Middle School courts a week in advance. To reserve, visit https://carpinteriaca.gov/parks-and-recreation/. Note that the Community Tennis Courts are available to the public during the hours when school is not in session and the Community Pool is open. Payment and access information must be secured at the pool office, at 5305 Carpinteria Ave. Online reservations open seven days in advance, and players are allowed a maximum of one reservation per day. There are two courts, and the west court has tennis and pickleball lines. Players must supply their own equipment except pickleball nets, which can be borrowed from the Carpinteria Community Pool office. CARPENTERIA PICKLEBALL CLUB
The courts will be closed from 8/18 thru 9/01. The courts are going to be resurfaced and stripped. Plus, the other court will also be stripped for two more PB courts. This doesn’t give us permanent PB courts, but it’s better than nothing, for now.
