Friendly staff. Great equipment variety. Spacious facility. Several modifications, including turning outside tennis courts to pickle ball courts. It continues to improve: changing all lockers in change rooms. It has a special recovery room offering hydrotherapy.

This place gets too many bad reviews!!! Bay Club Fremont has to be one of the most pristine and professional gyms I have ever been to. The management and membership team are some of the most hard working individuals I have ever met. For someone who is interested in a family/adult gym atmosphere, this is the place to come. In terms of equipment, they prioritize mostly on cardio machines, but still offer traditional weights and racks that other gyms such as 24/hour fitness have. They have a spectacular pool and several tennis/racquetball courts where family and friends can play all day. Fitness classes are constantly running throughout the day with some of the best trainers and instructors. Like I said before, this place doesn't get enough love for the amount of hard workers and nice equipment they have there. My only negative comment would be about how the OTHER MEMBERS of the club leave the facility. I've seen members throw towels on the ground, leave pool toys by the pool deck, and throw trash on the ground like it's a pig still. The worst I've witnessed is how some members believe they have a sense of entitlement over the employees and belittle them through argument. The members here truly do not respect the employees for what they do. To end, I would like to give a shoutout to Cristina G and Krag on the management team for making this club so wonderful. I'd also like to shoutout the people at the front desk like Alfredo, Sean, Samantha and the rest of the staff for greeting me at the door everyday as I walk in. I would recommend coming here!

We have been members since the inception of this gym. This gym is phenomenal as far as classes, staff and facility is concerned. Both my kids grew up involved in inter-club swim meets and tennis. They are now both professional adults inculcaled to great health habits due to this gym. Any place (including our homes) will occasionally appear untidy or dirty after heavy usage but the staff is on top of keeping it clean. It is a life style for us now, where my husband loves playing tennis, I love exercising here and have great friends/support. When my kids are visiting Clubsport Fremont with their friends occasionally, the latter have described the place as phenomenal too! Now that is unbiased opinion!

I've been a member here for about 10 years so I'll just provide a list of pros and cons I've noticed about this place: Pros: Clean locker rooms with digital locks so you don't have to carry around a key or lock Clean weight room with a good number of free weights (4 squat racks, 3 bench press, 1 decline bench press, 2 incline bench press) A lot of group training classes all throughout the day Jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna in the locker room TV's all over the place Nice staff Lots of tennis courts New crossfit gym with a lot of different equipment that's okay to use when there's no classes going on Cons: Can get crowded in the weight room, especially when people get off work Parking lot can get crowded Basketball courts can get pretty crowded especially because there's usually only one court running games Little kids running around the locker rooms can be pretty annoying Lap pool is always crowded because swim team practices run pretty often Pretty expensive compared to 24 hr fitness and other chains in Fremont Overall, definitely recommend coming here if you're within 15 minutes driving distance. Also it might be hard to get here during rush hours if you live in San Jose, but I hear they're opening a branch up there in the near future so I would definitely consider that.

Locker rooms are a bit dingy. Showers themselves were nice but the lockers are literally falling apart on the inside, and the layout is weird. Facility is overall a bit small and has a very early-aughts vibe to it. Weight and cardio area is pretty standard for a commercial gym. Pool is 6 lanes and crowded, and most folks here are very slow, so it's not a good pool for any kind of serious lap swimming, especially since they do not tier lanes by speed like most lap pools.

Crowded for this price. Sauna worse than bay spa

Family Locker Room Issues: 1. Dirty tiles and flooring in family locker room bathrooms. 2. Dirty lockers in family locker room 3. Cracked toilet seat 4. Some Locker hinges are broken in family locker room 5. Hair dryer is close to faucet & sink, and are often wet in the family locker room, which is a major electrical hazard, risking electrocution. Bayclub should install hairdryer holders on the wall. 6. No trash bags for garbage containers in family locker room shower area, which is not hygenic. 7. Exhaust fans in all family locker bathrooms are not working. This is causing difficulty to breathe due to circulation problems. 8. puddles of water not being drained properly which is extremely dangerous and slippery in the common bathroom areas 9. Broken shower arm holder with sharp piece protruding outward, which is dangerous while showering Men's Locker Bathrooms and Shower Area: 10. Rust under vanity and door to pool area 11. Dirty Tile Grout Area in Men's locker 12. Smelly and dirty bathrooms in Men's locker (need to hire a custodian and professional janitorial service) 13. Steam and Sauna Rooms need professional sanitization and cleaning daily by a proffessional cleaning janitorial service 14. Towels need to be restocked in Men's locker room when not running low Outdoor Area and Gym Area: 15. Hot Tub Towels are not always restocked 16. outdoor towels need to be cleaner since some of them are very old 17. There is only 1 hot tub in the entire facility, and needs an additional hot tub indoor (like it was in the past). In the past there were 2 indoor hot tubs, which were removed. 18. Ellipticals, stair master, treadmills should be cleaned daily. Lots of dust and stains. General Comments: Some Staff Members are rude and need to be cooperative, helpful, and professional to the members. Shared Membership is a ripoff and dues are going up. Parking is full and difficult to find open spots during weekday evenings Family locker bathroom exhaust fans are crucial for removing humid, moist air, odors, and pollutants, preventing mold/mildew growth, protecting surfaces from moisture damage (like peeling paint/ceilings), and improving air quality for better health, typically venting moist air outside via ductwork to the exterior of the facility. Why aren't they working? Expensive and Overpriced club that is planning to raise membership dues, and doesn't offer a clean environment. Cafe was closed permanently without asking members to vote for this important decision. There is no Cafe and no restaurant (only vending machine), and fresh smoothies are no longer available. Bay Club Fremont closes too early on weekends (7pm) and should be open until 9PM. Other clubs such as Bay Club Courtside are open until 9PM. Bayclub hosts many squash events, and members are short of squash courts and pickleball courts. Members are rushed to leave the Fremont facility on weekends at 7pm. Professional gym cleaning companies specialize in sanitizing fitness equipment, floors, locker rooms, and restrooms using advanced disinfection techniques (like spray tech for tight spots) to combat germs, creating a healthier environment for members and preventing illness spread. Why cant they hire professionals to clean their facility daily and maintain it properly? Management should understand the concerns of the members. SEE ALL 20 PHOTOS

A group of 8 of us joined mainly for the pickleball courts. The lights on the court are so dim at night that it's very difficult to see the ball. This hurts not only the quality of the game, but also presents a safety risk when you have balls flying fast and at people's faces. We've filed several complaints between the front desk, online, and even directly with the manager Patty. Nobody cares. They wont' fix it. We pay premium prices for a premium experience. This is anything, but that. Take your money elsewhere if you want a gym that actually maintains its facilities and cares about its members' experience and safety.

Unfair Treatment and Harassment by Member and Mishandled by Manager Javier Today I reserved the squash court 12, 10:45 am-11:30 am to practice pickleball drills against the wall. Around 11:00 am, a woman and her daughter entered and began harassing me, accusing me of misusing the court. They aggressively confronted me, took photos and videos of me without my consent, and tried to pressure me to leave even though my booking was valid until 11:30 am. From my impression, they simply wanted to use the court early before their own reservation. When I reminded them that I had the court reserved, the mother continued recording me while the daughter went to report me. Their son was visibly frightened and crying during this conflict, which shows how disruptive and inappropriate their behavior was. I felt targeted, disrespected, and unsafe as they invaded my privacy and attempted to intimidate me. At about 11:20, the manager, Javier, entered and interrupted my practice. I stepped outside and explained the situation, making it clear that I respected the rules but that I was the victim in this case — harassed, filmed without consent, and pressured to leave before my time was up. I also explained that I’ve seen coaches and other members use the squash court for different types of training, so if the court is strictly for squash, that policy should be applied consistently to everyone. Since I pay for my membership, I believe it is reasonable that I can practice my pickleball drills on the court as well. Management/Patty, I respectfully ask that you review this incident and take steps to ensure this member’s misconduct does not happen again toward me or others. Harassment and unauthorized recording create an unsafe environment for the Bay Club community, and all members deserve to feel respected during their reserved time.

I can not believe the club disregards our tennis players' opinions , they turn two outdoor tennis courts to pickleball courts.. we are extremely disappointed that we all pay the premium fee for playing tennis there ..so I only give the club 2 starts.

My family and I have been members of this facility since 2003. I used to go almost daily since I was a kid, as I was a part of the swim team. I had a great experience. We were paying around $220 a month for 4 people. However, during covid we suspended our membership. I tried joining this week but the monthly cost comes to over $500 which is ridiculous. I don't see any reason as to why a gym membership is over $500 especially given that most people only come here for pool and tennis court access. This place is not worth $500 a month. Until they reduce monthly fees, I will not return back to Bay Club.

Garbage management. Kept taking away tennis courts without even asking of tennis members. 8 courts down to 3 now and eventually none I believe. We can all play ping pong later since they can fits hundreds of ping pong tables. What a dumb management, Owner of bayclub please fire the management people there they are clueless and useless.

For the 140 dollar price point, I expect much more. This place focuses all their money into the wrong stuff. They have 20 treadmills and 1 real bench press. The squat/deadlift racks are outdated and look old. The basketball courts are always filled up because they always use half of it for volleyball or badminton. Instead of making extra space for volleyball or badminton, they build more squash courts for some dumb reason. They have an absurd amount of tennis and squash courts when there isn’t even enough space for basketball, table tennis, volleyball, or badminton. I really hope management takes the time to read this and actually make changes out of this long overdue problem.
