The club also offers 1 racquet ball court, 2 bocce ball courts, 1 ping pong table, 1 basketball goal and an indoor fitness area. Fitness does have a $10 per day Fee or you can buy a 20-day fitness package for $100. There is no fee for Homeowners.

The Moore Tennis Academy operates out of the Desert Princess Athletic Center and offers a full menu of Adult & Junior tennis and pickleball instruction. Charlie Moore our Director of Athletics and his staff are on site daily to assist with any of your needs.

MEMBERSHIP
Desert Princess Country Club offers the best value memberships in the Coachella Valley. You not only receive unlimited access to our excellent practice facilities and pristine and beautiful championship golf course, but you also have preferred tee time access.

The membership is an annual membership that begins October 1 and runs through September 30 of each year. consistent with our fiscal year. Desert Princess CC is owned by the Desert Princess HOA representing the 1,206 homes located within the gates of the property. There are three (3) membership categories. The majority of our members are Desert Princess homeowners. However, we also offer a tenant membership and a nonresident membership for those who reside outside the Desert Princess property. Each membership is treated the same but have different prices. None of the memberships require an initiation making them very attractive. All three categories offer single and dual memberships available and individual only twilight only options (after 2:00pm in season). We do also offer a summer unlimited play package that is valid May 1 through the end of our summer season (approximately September 30).

The Desert Princess is a beautiful course - very well maintained, and with a beautiful view of the mountains as a backdrop to the manicured course views. The course winds through neighbourhoods, and sometimes the fairways are a bit tight. There is quite a bit of water hazards to deal with, providing lots of challenge. The staff here are very friendly. The clubhouse is nice and the food on offer is good. The practice facilities are nice. This is a great course to play in Palm Springs.

This was a really fun track for just a quick weekend trip Palm Springs. The service was really good the staff was super friendly. The golf course is a 27 hole course so you get a lot of variety. The only knock on this courses the rental clubs were absolutely terrible. They were some weird brand that were blades that were probably 15 years old and just terrible. They wanted 50 bucks for them too so it was pretty disappointing. What a fun course and if you have your own clubs it’s easy to get to and a lot of fun. The food was good the breakfast burrito was great and the bloody Mary was outstanding

Playing at desert princess was one of the worst experiences I have had in the Coachella valley. Tee’d off at 10am and come to find out there was groups of 6! Playing in front of us, not only playing 6 people to a hole but playing 2 balls each. First tee took 18 minutes, second tee took 15. On top of it, when purchasing anything from their snack bar, get a copy of your receipt because as soon as I was charged I was never given a receipt and then find out when I see my bank statement there was a 5 dollar tip added to a 10 dollar charge. Play anywhere else out here in the valley, this course was not a good experience.

Mixed Experience: Be Aware Before Visiting Desert Princess Country Club This review reflects our specific visit on Jan 10 2025. The location and facilities are undeniably beautiful. Most staff were helpful - particularly those managing the carts and other facilities. However, our entire experience was derailed by one tall staff member at the front desk. Several red flags regarding our visit: 1) Confirmed tee time in person, processed payment in person, completed check-in in person - yet access was denied after our clubs were already being loaded onto the cart. The tall front desk staff member suddenly denied access due to dress code with a big grin on his face -- which wasn't mentioned during booking, payment, OR check-in, all of which were in person. 2) Multiple public confrontations by said person in front of other guests 3) Notably different treatment between regular members and visiting guests - despite being guests at the hotel on the property 4) Communication issues with ESL-speaking family members that felt unnecessarily difficult and humiliating While the driving range was adequate, the overall experience was disappointing given the club's reputation. The most concerning aspect was the stark contrast in how different guests were treated. Positive notes: 1) Beautiful grounds 2) Well-maintained facilities 3) Some staff members were professional Suggestions for management: - Review front desk staff training on guest communications - Provide policies at time of booking - Ensure consistent treatment of all guests, not a subset of guests that look like the front desk employees IMPORTANT: Would strongly recommend confirming ALL policies and requirements in writing before booking. Despite completing everything in person and having helpful interactions with other staff, one person's actions prevented us from accessing the golf course. Your experience may vary.

You would expect greatness from a $145 tee time. This course is not worth that. Half of that—sure. The amount of houses on this course is unprecedented. I didn’t know homes could be stacked together this closely on a golf course. It feels claustrophobic. The staff were all very nice, but this course is wildly overpriced. For that cost, go play Taquitz or Cimarron for a better experience.
