Jonny D. Wallis Park Pickleball Courts

1 dedicated pickleball court in Jonny D. Wallis Park in the heart of Old Town Goleta, California. No lights. Some shade from trees in the afternoon. Park has a variety of amenities including picnic area with pinata stand, bocce ball courts, pickleball courts, skate park, multipurpose field, splash pad and more. Great park for kids of all ages. There’s the skate park, the basketball and tennis or pickle ball (or whatever it is) courts, there’s a handball court, and a large grassy field for soccer or whatever, and play structures for younger kids. Picnic tables are great and the bathrooms are kept up.
Brian: ★★★★
Great little park with play structures that work for little ones (2yr olds) as well as bigger kids. Cool little skatepark attached to the playground, as well as a soccer field, fun basketball hoops (not just the standard height rims), pickle ball court, and other stuff that make ur super fun for kids of all ages.

We live our new Goleta Old Town park!! So nicely laid out; fun for the whole family. We especially live the one Pickleball court--jusr wish it had some low-slung nets to stop the balls.

Awesome recreational park for kids and adults. Open playground for toddlers -12 year old. Skate park is open too, and scooters are allowed, I believe. Other attractions include handball court, pickleball court, stationary exercise equipment, NO SAND, and piñata holders..WTH! A hidden little gem off Hollister in Goleta.

The Johnny D. Wallis' Park is a wonderful new park addition to Goleta. It sits a block from Route 217 in Old Town Goleta at Hollister & Kellogg Avenues. The park is much larger than I had expected with a total size of 4 acres and offers a large variety amenities including:-Kid's playground-Skate park and outdoor exercise machines-Multi-purpose field, basketball court, handball court, concrete ping-pong table, bocce ball court, and pickleball court-Splash pad to come in phase two-Walking path that goes circumferentially around the park-Picnic area with a piñata post (fun feature)There are public restrooms with water fountains (one with a water bottle filler). I'm happy to see this park here for the community to have a safe place to remain active outdoors.

My kids love coming to play here. They call it "The big park" because it has way more amenities than the one we stay close to. Ex. It has 2 playsets: 1 for toddlers (2-5) and another for the older kids (5-12), a huge field, tennis and basketball court, swingset with an handicapped accessible one 🥰, etc.

I happen to stop by mistake, but what a great little park, they have a little play area for children 2-5 years. Tennis court, basketball 🏀 court, pinball, skateboard, It has like a little walk area, saw a few seniors doing it about a 100f walk, then they have a few machines to do some arm, leg, and abs exercises. Very nice and clean 👌

They covered all ages. Great park! 1-10 years old - playground, Teenager's/adults - skate area, basketball, football field, small and big tennis area Senior's - walking path, exercise area. Sitting area for lunch with bbq coil areas. Excellent. Just one thing, need more shade for summer, more trees or artificial umbrellas.

This is a great park for what it's worth to me. I'm only visiting but it's my go to park. There's a lot of amenities/activities-Goleta Skatepark, jungle gym, small basketball courts for little hoopsters,1 full size courts for us,table tennis, chess and a field large enough for soccer. I almost forgot that there's a paved walkway for a small nature trail. I haven't been on it or know where it goes but it still looks pretty cool and it's wheelchair accessible. The only drawback to me is the lack of parking, but it's still a great park. I almost forgot that the unisex restroom/changing rooms were awesome too! Very clean & safe and equipped with soap & the coolest hand dryer I've seen in a public place. The Dyson blade is great for drying off. Santa Barbara great job & kudos to the park staff and the upkeep of a great neighborhood facility. Good job everyone.
Melodie Blakemore: ★★★★★
Great park, lots of activities (playground, field, basketball and tennis court, skate park) for kids and families in a small space. Parking can be a challenge if going on a busy day
