Awesome park with nice grass and a small sandbox and tennis courts. Kids love it!

Great little park that has a field adjacent and tennis court adjacent on either ends of the park! There is a small pottery studio that hosts classes through EC rec too! Love this little gem.

I really like the park and the friendly crowd here. The play structures at the playground are good for a wide range of age group and certainly was fun for my 3 yo. There is a small sand box here as well. There are plenty of seating and also a small grassy area by the playground for parents. There is a grassy field for baseball and soccer games as well as a couple tennis courts.

Awesome park with tennis courts, field and play structure. Great for kids.

One of the better parks in El Cerrito. Large enough play structures to keep kids (under 8) engaged. There is a small sandlot and structure for toddlers, but its not separated. Easy for runners to escape as gate only extends so far, so keep vigilant. Also there's tennis courts and a baseball field nearby within walking distance. Kids also loved exploring in the landscaping areas, a defacto nature's playground.

Its a nice little local park to take your children. Also has a court up above and has parking around the park. Admittedly parking can be very tight and difficult like most of Berkeley. Bathrooms are very hit or miss. Has field so you can play on it. Most dogs are nice and decent, so no complaint imo.

A small but lovely park with a tennis court and play area for children. Good for a picnic lunch or small party.

The jungle gyms are huge ! 2 sets of jungle gyms on each side. 2 swings area. There is a sand box and and the floor has a soft cushion but its covered in all the sand. Theres alot of obstacle courses on the big jungle gym with 4 slides. Very spacious and wider to go through it. One gym has a toddler size gym. A basketball court and tennis courts. 2 picnic tables with 1 bbq grill and trash cans. Tons of benches and seating areas facing the playgrounds. Good to have events here. Nice quiet family friendly neighborhood here. And its gated ! Come here all the time and I love it here for parents and children!

This is a great park to meet the needs of a wide range of ages. My kids are about to age out of playgrounds (9 and 12), and they liked the corkscrew slide and climbing wall and rope elements. The swings are in good condition. There were also little kids toddling around, with a structure geared to them. The playground is fenced in. There aren't a lot of benches, but there are a few shaded picnic tables. The bathrooms were present but seemed locked. Tennis courts down the hill. It's clean park with a lot to offer!

I had high hopes for this playground. Drove 45 minutes to meet friends and was excited about it. The playground is mostly enclosed but the stairs down to the tennis courts are overly appealing to small children. :/ And while the majority of the park is fenced in there is a big chunk of space by the pottery center and bathrooms (locked, you must have a $17 key to have access to the bathrooms, which have soap that smells nice but doesn't leave hands, or feet that have stepped in dog poop in the grass, clean) that is completely open. The equipment is nice. Mostly little kid friendly. The climbing wall is high enough to be challenging but the open space at the top of it scares me with littles. Park was not overly crowded on a weekend day and mostly clean, although my kid did step in really nasty dog poop in the grass, which really sucked especially since she has a grass phobia at the moment. We would definitely play there again if we were in the area but I'm not going to go out of my way to go there.

Stumbled upon this park and it's a great park if you have a 2 year old that's fearless and needs a more challenging park! She climbed everything and loved it! There's tennis courts and basketball courts. Bathrooms only work with city key. Nice grass areas for picnics or meet ups. It's not completely fenced off so just be aware of that. Oh and no baby swings! Besides that overall good park

Tassajara is a great place for young children and adults to enjoy with two large play structures, tennis courts, swings, picnic tables, and a half court. Bathrooms are available as well, but require a rental key from El Cerrito.

Cute park. Public area and tennis courts. Plenty of benches, and shade.

This park is wonderful. It's got two different size play structures, a basketball hoopand a sand pit. There are times it's a little busy, but it's still good! Playground: Playground is soft turf . Has two structures , one for small kids and one for bigger kids. Although smaller kids often play on the larger structure. There is a sand pit that stays clean other than some leafs and twigs. Restrooms: Unfortunately the restrooms require a key. Dog-friendliness: Theres and open baseball field just above the playground that I've seen dogs run around in. Picnic area: There is a picnic area, some benches in shade .

Small, fun park for kids up to around 7. Parents are very cooperative and friendly. Bathrooms often open. One star off because the fencing is pretty minimal and children can easily run into the street or down steep stairs if you aren't careful. Playground: Two large play structures plus two swings. Small sandbox. Full height basketball hoop. Dog-friendliness: Dogs on leash only. Picnic area: Picnic tables and trash barrels available

My kid likes this place a lot. Be careful on Sunday however. People partying at the grill might get noisy and disturbing. Carry minimal toys for the kids and don't leave any there. Playground: Plenty of slides and toys. Restrooms: You need to buy a key from the city authorities to use the restroom. The Pottery studio has one and they are nice as well. But you can use their key only if they are open. Picnic area: Picnic area is not well separated from the park. Be sure to party without inconveniencing other park users. There is no separate water tap around and the faucet is weak.

We go there almost everyday. One of the swings are missing, other than that it's a great park. The restroom is always clean which is great when you have small children. The other day a woman brought an off leash dog there which we didn't like.

Great playground, love that there is a sandbox. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is that you need a key for the bathroom which you have to get from the city hall or something so it's not very practical to go here unless you live very close by and don't plan on staying too long. I have hosted a couple events here (with a bathroom key) and it was a really awesome place for that.
