Indian Wells Tennis Garden Courts in Indian Wells, CA

18 hard tennis courts, and 49 pickleball courts in Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Indian Wells, California. This all-year tennis club hosts the BNP Paribas Open tennis tournament. Huge well maintained grounds, numerous exhibitions and restaurants. 2 stadiums. 29 tennis courts in all. In the heart of the Coachella Valley in beautiful Indian Wells. The courts are amazingly well maintained, even when the BNP tournment is not in session, the tennis pros are excellent, the personnel is very friendly. Parking is free during the tournament rounds, without paying anything extra, parking is included with the ticket purchase. The food inside the facilities really seemed expensive to me. Nachos for $24 and the portion size wasn’t large. A hot dog for $11, chicken tenders for $24, and salads for $24, that’s the average price range.

I don’t know why this isn’t a solid 5 star! I’ve been to several Tennis events in the US. This is hands down the best experience out of them all I’ve been to. The grounds are stunning, the seats and views are great. You can get so close to the players as they practice. Very intimate, very relaxed, and it’s just so incredible for the fans! Prices are expensive but not as bad as Miami ironically. Great stadium and experience as a spectator.

Beautiful tennis courts, some tennis competitions are free to the public

Great tennis courts. Take a look at the Pro shop for some good deals on merchandise. And try the tennis all vending machine.
Anthony Ellerson Sr: ★★★★★
The best Tournament for fans. Plenty of action all over the grounds during the Tournament best viewing is on the outside practice tennis courts.
David Guenthardt: ★★★★
Pretty cool place if you’re a tennis fan! Plenty of parking in the designated parking lot, easy walk across to the tennis courts.
Elizabeth TraubHarris: ★★★★★
A wonderful and exciting place to be during the BNP Paribas. The entire gardens are beautiful, shopping, food, and tennis courts to see your favorite tennis players. One of my favorites, Aryna Sabalenka, was amazing to watch. She has an incredible serve and high ball toss. She fought hard for the qualifying win against Peyton Sterns. Sitting just four rows back from center court was amazing. Had Bill Gates 14 seats over. Be prepared to do lots of walking from parking and then I to the tennis garden.
Scott Bridgeford: ★★★★★
Beautiful grounds with friendly, helpful staff. Well equipped gym for members with ample tennis courts available for play. Now offer Pickleball nights as well. Even the security staff goes out of their way to make your visit an enjoyable one.

I am usually here at my favorite tennis venue for my favorite tennis tournament, the BNP Paribas Open. Annually, I look forward to cheering for Rafa or Delpo, both former Champions. However, this past weekend I was invited here for some uniquely different fun... We came to watch the 1st Annual Pickleball Championships. With great care, the tennis courts were painted over for the nation's most competitive pickleballers... and they turned out: showing off the fast-paced, rapid reflex, paddle swiping whiffle-ball game. I was impressed. Leave it to the gorgeous Tennis Garden to share it's first-class venue with the fast-growing trend of pickleball. It made me wonder if more court space might be created/allocated for both sports to co-exist at the club sometime in the not-too- distant future?

Nice tennis courts and amazing views.

I had an absolute blast at this venue! If you're a tennis lover, you simply can't miss this place when the players are in town. One of the best perks is that tickets are quite affordable at the beginning of the week, making it accessible for everyone. While it did get a bit chaotic, arriving early made all the difference and allowed us to soak in the vibrant atmosphere. Thankfully, the weather was perfect, which added to the overall enjoyment of the day. Seeing the players up close was definitely a highlight, and the beautiful landscape surrounding the venue made for a stunning backdrop. Plus, parking is free, which is always a bonus! Just a friendly reminder: be sure to bring a clear backpack to make your entry smooth, as they have specific bag policies. I highly recommend checking it out—it's an unforgettable experience for any tennis enthusiast

Tennis Paradise, well organized, free parking on grass is a nice touch. We live in Mexico and indian wells is just a 2 hour drive away. Hope next year they offer non alcoholic beer next year as an option.

"One of the best experiences, the event organization, and the facilities were very nice. Parking was very easy without paying anything extra; parking is included with the ticket purchase. Access policies require transparent bags, and if you bring something else, it cannot exceed the size of the palm of your hand, so avoid using lockers and bring a transparent bag. The food inside the facilities really seemed expensive to me. Nachos for 24 dollars and the portion size wasn't large. A hot dog for 11 dollars, chicken tenders for 24, and salads for 24, that’s the average price range."
Viraj Gadgil: ★★★★
It was a pleasure to see your favourite players live on the central courts. It's a big garden with 7-9 courts with two center courts for star players. Even by seating on the outer rims, it was a nice experience overall. Prices are high obviously but good for once in a lifetime experience. Expect high queues on weekends. Free parking is made available during tournaments.
Cihan Akdere: ★★★★★
I’ve always wanted to visit this tennis stadium. It looks massive on TV, but inside, every seat—even the high ones—offers a great view of the court. I can't wait to come back and watch a match!
Sudhakar Kasturi: ★★★★★
One of the best held tennis tournaments in the ATP and WTA tours. Free parking. Lots of courts/matches to see for General Admission Tickets
Mark Pitts: ★★★★★
This tournament location is pretty amazing with 9 tournament courts, including two large stadiums, and multiple practice courts to watch your favorite players. We have been to two tennis tournaments here, and they are always a blast with tons of great tennis. Plan to spend the entire day onsite during the tournament to see and enjoy as much as possible. They have tons of food vendors and restaurants. Prices are fairly high for food and drinks, as expected.
Felix Franco: ★★★★★
This is definitely an experience anyone should try sometime in their lives. You get to see all the best tennis players in the world play, practice and exercise up close and personal. I got to see most of the top ten players. Food is expensive but I was expecting it because of the type of event. It can get pretty windy and cold so make sure to be prepared. It is definitely an out of this world experience.

Had an honor to play tennis here this weekend. It is a spectacular venue. This sunset scenery combining with the tennis court lighting was beautiful. For those who loves tennis, Indian Wells Tournament in Spring is highly recommended to experience.

The tennis matches, grounds, and staff are exceptional. The parking should accommodate incapacitated individuals. The outdoor food and beverage areas are very pricey for families.
QN Chen: ★★★
Event is great. However, they do need to train their staff/volunteers better. Many of them are willing to help, but don’t even know where a certain booth is located. The others were not friendly at all - I know some practice courts were crowded, but they should let ppl know where the line is in advance, w/o being arrogant and condescending.
Brian Tran: ★★★
Very impressive grounds. Plenty of courts, outside courts and practice courts. The stadiums are just as impressive. The ticketing system was very good, quick to get in. The only thing was the accessibility to the players, unlike in French Open, where you will find them walk across campus to get to their match. Plenty of staff, services, facilities, all a little something for everyone. Plenty of shade everywhere, except in the stands. Being in the desert, even during the spring time, mist showers are a must and should provide some share or products for individual shading, the fans they give out is great but insufficient. Some brought their own umbrellas but end up blocking others´ view behind them. I see lots of 50+ fans and had to be in the heat and sun for 4+ hours to get the best out of their expensive tickets, the organizer can do better to avoid heat exhaustion and sun burns. If I do come back it would be the evening, but the tickets are for 1 or 2 matches, which I consider expensive for the price the charge (bought directly from official site). Compared to other Grand Slam or Masters 1000s I´ve been to, it can do much better.
Lana Sachs: ★★★
They should tell people at the entrances that you cannot take any bags that are bigger than basically an id card and that you have to have clear bags!!! The tennis matches were fun to watch and the place was amazing, but the staff needs to be better trained. Fortunately my brother and I were invited by the USTA organization to go into a suite. That was the only part I liked, everything else was not. Don't understand why they can't check people's bags like other places. Will not be coming here anytime soon.
Andy S: ★★★
Nice grounds but if you come to the tennis tournament, be prepared for long lines. Food or matches. Really need them to get better organized about letting people in. And start mobile ordering!
robin h: ★★★
Nice venue but it shuts down promptly at the end of the match. No security, poor lighting, no exit signs. Just ridiculous. And very sketchy. It's not right that the lot has no guard and we got just trying to exit after a lovely dinner at Nobu.
Michael Pearcy: ★★★
Tennis was very good. Saw 2 excellent matches. The downside is, the food is awful. My wife and I tried 2 separate eateries, and both were horrible. Slapped together, microwaved garbage. And the prices are too high. I mean $16 for a beer. Gimme a break.

Michelin Guide: ★
Friendly staff but when it comes to food you should expect to pay $6-8 for soda and $18-20 for sandwich. Expect nothing but garage food and drink. Not a single healthy option other than aquasana which is in lower side of water category. Pay $6 for that one. So this is tennis related is good for your health and yet we are expect to eat and drink these junk foods. I don't quite get it. They won't let you take nothing but .5 liter of water. No health food or drink you can take with you. And yet there is no healthy food option whatsoever. Go to hell management. 😕 These photos have Sugar Ray Leonard, Monica Seles with sunglasses and Ben Stiller.
Mark Briesacher: ★
Very disappointed in the leaders of the BNP Paribas ATP and WTA 1000 tournament. The change in the terms and access on Thursday morning is short sighted, poorly communicated, and customer - consumer deaf. Also, the tech infrastructure is inadequate. The tournament app does not work inside the Tennis Garden. Not the quality associated with sponsors @BNP Paribas, @Rolex, @Motorola, and @Cornoa (or is it?). We are not returning given the choices for great tournaments in North America. Think twice about attending in 2025 and beyond.
Justin Thind: ★
Some of the worst food you will ever find in public, coupled with the most expensive prices imaginable. I know people come here for the tennis first and foremost, but real tennis fans are here the entire day and subsequently must eat at least one meal here. And that meal is the worst value meal of your life.
June W: ★
They collaborated with Coachella for those with “preferred parking” but gave minimal information on where to get the stickers for our car and terribly long line just to get that stupid piece of paper. My poor dad spent over a thousand on tickets alone for our small family so we expected much more prepared staff. Because of this issue, my dad missed the only band he wanted to see at Coachella, meaning his hard-earned money went to hell. Also, they’ll hire just anyone these days it seems.
David Nelson: ★
Tennis is awesome and the stadium is great. However, I cannot stand behind Rude volunteer ushers and the egregious prices for food. $7.50 for a soda? $15-20 for a burger without the fries? If you don’t allow outside food or snacks, charging outrageous prices is just not right.
S Pollitt: ★★
Great tennis and tennis venue in 2023 as always. BUT compared to last year, the guest services and especially the food have gone way downhill. No headphones, guest photo location dismal, lack of products. Tennis Garden needs some upgrades in guest services until then bring your own food or dine in town.
