My boyfriend and I came here to play pickleball. We were there in line 5 min before this place even opened. We got to the courts and these old ladies and asians immediately took over both courts (they clearly come play everyday and never give anyone else a chance). We waited for a game but were just so frustrated at the situation, the way they wouldn’t even give us a chance to play despite probably playing everyday, and acted like they owned the place. I will not be coming back here and would not recommend even attempting to play a game here it’s just awful.

The person that is in charge of this recreation center is doing a horrible job. It’s always dirty, trash everywhere. They shouldn’t even have a job. City of San Diego should do a better job in hiring people. Jerry abbott is the one that should be responsible for not maintaining his recreation center.

The place is good but the fact that its only open from 10-2 on Sundays and its nothing but rec league games just doesnt cut it for me.
