Best Tennis courts in Temple City, Los Angeles County for 2026

Live Oak Park-Tennis and Pickleball Courts in Temple City

Summary / Description

7 tennis courts. 3 of them have lights. In good condition. Excellent local park for all sports. Baseball, softball, basketball, tennis, and pickle ball courts, and several BBQ/picnic areas. There is also a community center for group gatherings. Certain spaces require reservations. There's a cafe for hot foods, ice cream and drinks. Could use more parking spaces for the park but overall it's well maintained, nice friendly crowd and the pickleball is well organized. Restrooms are clear. There are many mosquitoes in the park.

This park is at the junction of Temple City and Arcadia City, in a residential community, far from the main road, very quiet. This park is a sports-themed park. The grass is beautiful and open. To the north are tennis courts, which are numerous. There is a parking lot on the south and north sides of the park, and there are many parking spaces. To the west is the lounge area and barbecue area, where many people hold parties during the holidays. Inside the sports field is a football field and a baseball field, where children's football and baseball games are often held. This is a great place to exercise.

Came here for the pickelball courts. They have eight courts, four with permanent lines and nets. Nicely maintained, courteous local players, and very minimal wait. Wish they had lights, though, but I guess you can't have everything. πŸ˜‰

The whole community shows up on Sunday mornings especially! It's nice to see men from all races play basketball together. They're having a Chinese New year celebration on Feb 1. For everyday activity, you can jog there. Kids can play and there are also exercise equipment. Good place to hang out with the family on weekends.

The park is nice and offers a walking/running path. Sidewalks around the entire park for bikes & skaters. I had a weird interaction with a man and his small daughter. He chose to walk passed me and my large dog (within two feet) and rudely and loudly asks if my dog bites. I was sitting at a picnic table at the time eating lunch, and my dog way laying on the ground by my feet. The man just wanted to be confrontational. He came back around and told me that the park doesn't allow dogs, and that I should leave. I told him to not to speak to me, so he decided to walk up on me. My dog calmly got up and barked at him once. He pointed and yelled that my dog was aggressive. This guy dookied in his pants. Now I always come to this park to walk my dog πŸ• ☺️
