Tennis and Pickleball courts in Tracy, San Joaquin County

Frank Hoyt Park Tennis and Pickleball Courts

2 tennis courts, 2 overlay pickleball courts in Frank Hoyt Park in Tracy, California. No lights. Really beautiful railroad themed city park. Small hills for kids, sand volleyball courts (bring your net) shade and tennis courts (no lights). Only downside is high tension power lines that run over the park. Be very careful with 3rd Street traffic on the North side: occasional speed displays on the long straight stretch of road. Short walk west down Third Street to Mi Ranchito bodega for refreshing treats. Location is also Central to Tracy history’s railroad past. This park has clean restrooms, a hand wash station, nice play structures (one modern, one oldschool), plenty of picnic tables that need an update, and a large field.

Drop-In Pickleball Play

Frank Hoyt Park is a large park that has a walking trail, two tennis courts, sitting benches, and etc. Though the park does not offer much shade during daytime, it’s spacious and even has a water fountain that sprays cool water at you when you’re walking nearby. Overall, it’s a great park and I recommend visiting it if you live around or in this neighborhood.
Naveed Assifi: ★★★★★
Beautiful big park, have three playgrounds for the kids and how a really big open peeled to run and walk your dog have restroom and also have a tennis court.
Zachary Michael Hensley: ★★★★★
Lovely scenery, nice field to play catch or play outdoor sports. There are public restrooms, as well as a fairly big sized play ground area with jungle gyms for children. BBQ pits and picnic table area, along with horse shoe pits to play in. Also there is a full sized beach volley ball area and full sized tennis courts.
Lucky Houston: ★★★★
Really beautiful railroad themed city park. It stays relatively clean except for the bathrooms. Newer climbing equipment including a sort of teeter totter that passes current safety laws. Small hills for kids, sand volleyball courts (bring your net) shade and tennis courts (no lights). Only downside is high tension power lines that run over the park. VERY neighborhood centric park. Sketchy behavior will get reported and perhaps resident intervention. Be very careful with 3rd Street traffic on the North side: occasional speed displays on the long straight stretch of road. Short walk west down third Street to Mi Ranchito bodega for refreshing treats. Location is also Central to Tracy history s railroad past

Pretty nice park, tennis courts, water park, playgrounds, horse shoe pits, volley ball sand court, lots of grass for activities. Lots of Seating and shade. Plenty of parking around and a few in the park. Bathrooms are not the best.

It needs new pickleball courts
Edith Fuentes: ★★★
This park has restrooms available, a handwash station, nice play structures (one modern, one oldschool), has a picnick area that needs an update, and a large field to run around in. I only have a bone to pick with it. My child was using the bars on the oldschool side of the park and she realized she got a smidge of poop on her finger! She was very disgusted and so was I. I assume a child stuck their hand back there to scratch and continued to play.
Negative Reviews:
Christina Y.: ★★
Is under construction at the moment tennis courts are still available even though the playground is still closed for the kids
Ricky Capobianco: ★
