Great service, nice facilities and private.

A great combo of tennis pickleball bocce basketball swimming weights and cardio equipment. Add to this dining and wine tasting events as well as dining and bar, both inside and out and there is quite a lot to do.
Ann Pann: ★★★★★

With tennis, pickleball, & bocce, University Club is my home away from home. I also love the fitness classes, and I just started personal training to help recover from injury. The clubhouse has a casual vibe with great lunches and dinners. Events like wine dinners and holidays are fabulous. The swim coach and tennis pros are top-notch! Highly recommend as a private cIub for the whole family!

Does not allow events for non-club members, but they dont say that anywhere on their site etc. Very misleading.

We joined primarily for the tennis… But the junior program is a waste of time unless your kids are in it only for the giggles or you just want a babysitter… We had to go elsewhere for our kids’ development (all three played or are playing college tennis, 2 at the D1 level). Some of the women members are rude… they act like they own the place… it was beyond anything I’ve experienced anywhere… and we’ve belonged to a handful of clubs because of our moves over the years… other members have said the same thing… life is too short and membership fees too high to deal with snooty people like them…The grill is good…But there’s nothing else I can recommend… We’re no longer members… And have moved from the area…There are much better options like Foothill, the bay club, and especially brookside in Saratoga (the latter has an excellent tennis and junior development program run by Steve Roberts… it’s where our kids trained)…
