It’s a beautiful piece of architecture with a well-heated pool, sauna, (in addition to gender specific saunas), tennis courts with breath-taking views, outdoor basketball court, 2 lanes for lap swim and lots of room for kids to play in the pool. A hybrid pickleball and tennis facility. Del Mar courts are tennis courts with regulation tennis nets. Marking supplies are available at the kiosk to convert the court to pickleball.

Great amenity to The Sea Ranch. Impressively maintained to its 1970s original aesthetic and function. Sauna was hot and nice. Locker room clean as a whistle. Pool cool in January but not freezing.

I just wanted to post my sick pictures of this architectural landmark. This spot is peak Sea Ranch. You literally need a pass to get in, and they check. You need a separate reservation to use the lap pool. You can use the kiddie side of the pool without prior reservation. They don't provide any towels, there is no food or drink. There is a sauna, men's, women's and family. It's an incredible minimalist triumph but not particularly comfortable or fun.... just like everything at the enviro-fascist paradise that is Sea Ranch. There's also a native plant garden and a library they made out of the Ohlson ranch house next to the parking lot. You have to be a guest of Sea Ranch to enter but you can look at it for free from the parking lot.

I love this recreational center and I love sea ranch however - I had a very unfortunate experience with the older man working at the front kiosk. He immediately treated me like I shouldn’t be there / assumed I didn’t have my right pass without really explaining what I needed to show in the first place / tried to turn me and my younger sister and her friend away. I realized the correct pass was in my car, I went to get it and showed it to him. He made sure to tell me a few times the center was closing soon and snootily informed me that if I was late to the gate it would be locked. I’m guessing he was just assuming since we were young, we would be rowdy or disrespectful or something - very rude man. We enjoyed our time despite him, though!
