Best Tennis and Pickleball courts in Benicia, Solano County for 2026

Summary / Description

4 lighted tennis courts, and 5 free layover pickleball courts with portable nets at Benicia Middle School in Benicia, CA. No shade. Pickleball courts are available from 8:00 am – 8:00 pm everyday and free to use! Nets are in a storage container at the tennis courts. The code to open the container is 1847. OUTDOOR COURTS
There are 8 outdoor courts that have been added to the tennis courts at Benicia Middle School. Courts may be accessed via the pedestrian gate that is closes to the baseball fields. Courts are ONLY available outside of school hours (after 4:30pm when school is in session); all day on the weekends, holidays and school breaks. There are no permanent nets installed, so you can bring your own portable net – OR – to access nets that are in a locked container onsite, you can connect with Benicia Pickleball on FB, or call our office during office hours (Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm).

PICKLEBALL
Everyday 8:00 am – 8:00 pm
Courts are accessed via the pedestrian gate that is closest to the baseball fields.
Walk through the gate which will be unlocked and walk across the basketball courts. After walking across the basketball courts, you will head down the ramp towards the portables.
When you get to the portables, you will walk towards the bathrooms and walk past them towards the tennis courts.

When it comes to nets you have 2 options. You can bring your own portable ones or you can use the ones in this lockbox. The code is 1847. There are 5 sets of nets that are available for the public, there are no pickleballs or paddles. First come, first serve.

Please put all equipment away after playing and double check that the box is LOCKED!
