Best Pickleball courts in Campbell, Santa Clara County for 2026

The HUB Silicon Valley Pickleball Courts in Campbell, CA

20 indoor pickleball courts in HUB Pickleball Club – Silicon Valley in Campbell, California. The facility is great, complete with pro-shop, 18 full-sized courts, 2 narrow courts for singles (they call “California singles”), drop-in play with skill level designations, and court reservations.

Courts marked by skill level, open play on all courts with 1 or 2 challenge courts. Courts are separated by fences so you don’t get too many balls on your court. All of the courts have a lot of grip. Super easy to find games, sometimes back-to-back. Skill levels generally 3.5+ with a LOT of 4.5 and above. They have a small gym to warmup and cooldown. Plenty of parking outside.

You can drop in for open play anytime with your membership or a day pass, plus they have non rated events + DUPR rated events happening throughout the week for both men, women, and mixed teams.

They have challenge system where you can stay if you win during non busy times, but everyone moves off to give the next players a turn if there are 4+ paddles waiting.

Overcrowding has become a serious issue. It’s been very crowded the times I’ve gone (4-8 paddles down); For open play on popular times, it feels that there’s too many people queued up – waiting over 20 min is not normal. Opening at 8 am and there was already a line. I recommend you avoid going on rainy days. They often block off many courts for big private events at primetime (5 pm to 9 pm) leaving a few courts to members. Even if the front desk reserves a court for you, there’s still a chance it might get booked later. Drop-in courts might have fewer booking conflicts.

The vibe is more competitive (rather than social) compared to other places in the area.

It gets very hot during the day. They did have a couple fans but that wasn’t sufficient. No AC and limited air movement. Air is a bit hot and humid, which is not super comfortable.

The lighting needs work, inconsistent lighting inside and a couple courts have dark areas where the lighting isn’t consistent throughout the court.

They have 4.0-4.5, 4.5+ courts, which is an interesting idea, but most players don’t know their ranking.

The courts are very grippy, I would not want to fall on these courts. The court surface will also likely eat up the soles of your shoes quicker than normal outdoor pickleball courts as it’s very textured/rough. I’m more likely to get a knee injury, torn ankle/ligaments on these courts. I like it for moving around, but expect more wear on your shoes and pickleballs.

Wendy & Dan Novakovich: ★★★★
Everyone player there is so friendly and the place is very clean. We had no problem playing for almost 2 hours straight from 8:15-10 am. We had to leave at 10 but we easily could have found more players and there were still 2 courts available. I am a guest so if took about 5-7 minutes to check in with my day pass, but other than that a very pleasant experience.
Arjun Mehta: ★★★★★
The HUB is hands down the best place to play pickleball in the Bay Area. 20 Courts that are pristine - super well maintained, even lighting throughout the premises, and they are labeled by skill level so that you’re guaranteed to get GOOD GAMES when you drop in! Super friendly staff, lots of regulars, it’s a strong community of folks that support each other. You can drop in for open play anytime with your membership or a day pass, plus they have non rated events + DUPR rated events happening throughout the week for both men, women, and mixed teams. I personally find my level of pickleball addiction to be way higher than most of my friends, so I love that in addition to fixed partner events, they have a lot of events that allow you to join as a solo player and you keep getting auto-paired with others in a round robin format. Great to keep playing with different partners so you can get better on your own schedule while learning to adapt to so many different play styles. Even during the summer time when the outdoor weather is great and we have parks closer to home, my friends and family way prefer to drive the extra bit to the Hub because we know we’ll get way better games for the same amount of time compared to open play at a park where the wait time may be longer and the games are hit or miss, and then you’re stuck waiting in line all over again. The Hub has a very organized challenge system where you can stay if you win during non busy times, but everyone moves off to give the next players a turn if there are 4+ paddles waiting. There’s also a single dedicated challenge court permanently dedicated to having the 2 winners stay on forever for as long as they keep winning!! They also have a small locker room, shower, and clean bathrooms, and a soft matte area with some cardio equipment for warming up. One thing I’ll tell you is that you WILL get much better at pickleball if you play here. Whether people play for fun or competitively, everyone plays a bit more technically and strategically compared to bang bang bang at parks (though you’ll see plenty of those here too!), so your overall breadth of understanding and versatility will inevitably improve. Love this place!

Courts marked by skill level, open play on all courts with 1 or 2 challenge courts. All courts high quality, with permanent nets and center straps. Super easy to find games, sometimes back-to-back. Skill levels generally 3.5+ with a LOT of 4.5 and above. No gym. Plenty of parking outside. Friendly staff. This is probably THE best indoor pickleball club in the Bay Area in terms of skill level AND volume of players. I’d probably spend all my free time here if I lived nearby. I’m a non-member and paid $40 for the day pass. Would absolutely come back here again. Highly recommended.
Marc. Wise: ★★★★★
Great facility with nice courts separated by fences so you don’t get too many balls on your court. There are plenty of courts so there’s lots of places to play. We came here for a tournament and it is great because there is also lots of space in between the courts to watch the games.
Miguel: ★★★★
Great location. Could spend all day here. They have a small gym to warmup and cooldown. Some etiquette could be provided by the staff. Looks like a lot of beginners didn’t understand the gate or ranking systems.
Oscar Bazán: ★★★★★
Friendly, helpful staff - fabulous instructors (and members)! Leagues, clinics, challenge courts, drop-in play, lessons, and fully stocked pro shop! Everything for all levels of pickleball under one roof! Courts are beautiful too (and there's plenty of them)!!!
Mike Vuong: ★★★★★
The hottest indoor Pickleball Spot in the Bay! With 20 courts the wait isn’t too long! It’s very clean! Day passes are only $25! If you started playing outdoor like myself try indoor one time and you’ll be hooked haha
Amy: ★★★★★
This indoor Pickleball spot is very clean. Drop in is $25 and monthly membership starts at $119 and up. I like how there’s challenge courts based on ranking. That way, you can choose which court to play based on your play level. All of the courts have a lot of grip and I was surprised at how much I was able to play here versus playing outdoors. I feel like playing outdoors will tire you out more by being in the sun while playing indoors, you can play more. What’s fun about joining and being a member is that they have weekly ladders that you can compete in and meet new people. The Hub is definitely one of my favorite Pickleball spots to play!
Chris Williamson: ★★★★★
What a great place. They have a shop with everything pickleball, snacks and over 20 courts divided up into different skill levels. They also had ladder play. Pricing is very fair and is a much better setup than my indoor club in Utah.
Ali Nili: ★★★★★
Amazing facility—but even more impressive was the incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. I had emailed ahead to mention that my wife and I would be visiting from Florida and passing through the area for less than 24 hours, and they went above and beyond to arrange a game for us. It ended up being the highlight of our California trip. Truly grateful!
Deepankar Das: ★★★★★
Awesome place! Great staff! Very friendly and helpful! Fantastic lighted courts! Great mix of players!
McKoi: ★★★★★
Been a member for a couple of months now. I’d say that the membership is so worth it. I get to play pickleball several times a week. Some days/hours are busier than others but that’s expected (especially on a rainy day). There are lots of courts for open play and lots of different people/levels to play with. I also like that they have a lot of different tournaments for members and non-members. It was intimidating at first but the staff/members are all pretty chill and nice. So now I have my DUPR rating and have been constantly trying to improve it.
Jonah: ★★★★★
Visiting from Seattle and I really enjoyed my time at the HUB. The facility is clean and spacious with 20 courts. Susan, who runs the DUPR games, and Mike, who runs the ladder games, were extremely helpful and made the experience of competing really enjoyable. Although it's a bit pricey for the day pass (the membership is much better value), it's definitely the best place for pickleball in the area and worth checking out!
Ron Niles: ★★★★
Went for a corporate event. We received group instructions on how to play and even though I never played before, I was soon playing doubles and having a great time. The place is clean and new, staff is helpful and it looks to be very popular.

I've been very pleased with the experiences at the Hub - Silicon Valley ever since I signed up as a guest member a year ago. My dad and I often stop in to play 1-on-1 and find a court available. An early lesson with Trish was a great introduction to the sport. I recently took the Pickleball Basics class with Kim. It was very easy to follow her instruction and she packed a lot into the 2 hour class. I hope to be a more regular visitor and expect more great experiences.
Anna Chavez: ★★★★★
Amazing facilities, helpful and friendly staff and great games any day any time. Highly recommend to players of all levels. The $30 drop in fee for the day feels more than fair given their hours and how much fun you can have here. It gets the busiest on week nights after 4-5, but you can always find people to play here. Owners are kind and welcoming to all.
Lynette Handa: ★★★★
This review is about being a Guest and Spectator of leagues, DUPRs, open play and MLPs. First, let me commend Susan and all her "helpers" for Saturdays MLP. Secondly, let me just say how Great it was to have the space to watch anyone and everyone play. Unlike league or the DUPR's that I've tried to watch down the "alley" "hallway" "squishy area" where spectators have to run through courts, choose who they are around, etc. Watching from that area is no way to watch a lengthy tournament. There is no space to observe the different matches going on. I understand maximizing space, but those coming in just for open play don't have spectators watching. Having tournaments on the left was so nice, leaving room for friends and family to come watch all the games! Having space to move about without bumping into others, being able to sit or stand for such a long period of time is important. Even the players waiting for their rounds are waiting in that same space. There are a lot of people, players and non players all in the same space.
Danelle Jenetayeva: ★★★★★
My 7-y/o daughter and I had lots of fun here! There are two narrow courts for singles. It wasn't crowded on Saturday at 5pm. It was 93° outsides, but this indoor court had a nice breeze going, it's well ventilated and airy. The courts are for an outdoor ball. I'm definitely considering getting a membership here, and signing up my daughter for a Junior's Clinic. 🙌🏻
Janie Demkowski: ★★★★★
I always preferred playing outdoors, but I tried out The Hub and I haven't gone back. There's always someone to play with at the hub. I never have to battle the sun in my eyes or a sunburn. I have taken lessons with kim (highly recommend her!), played in a league, and have significantly improved my skills.

Despite a protracted set-up and opening period, the Hub Pickleball in Campbell will be fully open and operational as of August 1st, 2023. The facility is great, complete with pro-shop, 18 full-sized courts, 2 skinnier courts, drop-in play with skill level designations, and court reservations. Leagues and tournaments are planned for the future. There are rest areas next to the courts with lawn chairs and sofas, a water fountain, and portable fans for anyone to use. As a founding member, I was kept in the loop via a WhatsApp group that it appears other reviewers were not aware of and simply gave a 1star review without trying to dig deeper. The Hub is a wonderful place for all things pickleball, and I will definitely be here at least once a week for the foreseeable future!
Rachel Campagnolo: ★★★★★
Can’t imagine a more awesome indoor pickleball facility! The team did a great job getting the Hub through excruciating permitting phase to opening in August. Started drilling in and paying the $25 and quickly realized it’s a place I will be playing several times a week. A great balance of programming with leveled ladders as well as drop-in play. Highly recommend !
Colin Goldstein: ★★★★
Very good courts. The lack of air conditioning can make it very hot or very cold inside, depending on the temperature outside. It's possible to find games at all levels, although during the evening hours it can be very crowded.
Robin Davis: ★★★★★
I am having so much fun playing in the round robin weekly events at The Hub . Susan has created a great program that allows for play specific to one’s level with varied partners and opponents.
Tony Canchola: ★★★★★
Fantastic facility, great pickleball play, and very nice people. Everything you need to play pickleball
Justin Ho: ★★★★★
Love this place. The courts are brand spanking new. The games are good at all levels, and 99% of the people are kind and nice. Staff super supportive across the board. Worth every penny and more!
Annette Reavis: ★★★★★
Absolutely love this place. The coaching is top notch and I’ve learned so much from Coach Trish. I’ve also had fantastic work events there. My life would be so different without spending time playing pickleball there.
Monica RentalForyou: ★★★★★
The HUB recently opened, and I visited it to play pickleball last week. It is an absolutely fantastic place for pickleball enthusiasts. The staff at the front desk is friendly and welcoming ------------------- I have called so many times, but all my calls were answered by an answering machine. The website still says 'opening in June,' but it is now mid-July. I drove up to the place to check if it is open, but it is still closed. How hard is it to update some information on the website or provide information in voice message?
Lolohea Pauu: ★★★★★
I loved playing here! It’s big, open, clean, and fun and friendly family environment! We came and played with all my cousins from out of town and I would 10000/10 Recommend this club!
Jerry Wang: ★★★★
Very nice place to play Pickleball indoors. They have everything you need, pro shop, coaches, Ernie the robot etc.
Jim Goudreau: ★★★★★
Fun place, good people, very organized clinics, classes, ladders, dupr events.. with 12 open courts from opening to closing … never leaves you without a game.
Robert Newlander: ★★★★
Great 4 indoor P ickleball, but needs cooling Fans. Just minor " Great G.M. "M.F. "growing pains" since only open Aust 1st. Higher member dues adds to good clientle demographics.
Phille Anthony Agustin: ★★★★
Great staff and great community! Only downside is that it can get stuffy when it's packed and the small fans aren't cutting it. Also drill walls would be very much appreciated 👍 …
Kevin Hall: ★★★★★
So excited that this will be opening soon! Can’t wait to play pickle ball so close to my house. Great location, convenient parking. Can’t wait to play!
Rachel Taylor: ★★★★★

Love this place! Players are friendly and staffs are super helpful, so I have no problem navigating the space when I was there first time. Now I go multiple times a week. Addictive.
Polly Chan: ★★★★
This is a great pickleball court! We discovered it this summer, and it's been a fun and relaxing experience to play with friends here, especially in the hot weather. The court is clean and comfortable. However, pickleball is becoming increasingly popular, so even if the front desk reserves a court for us, there's still a chance it might get booked later. Drop-in courts might have fewer booking conflicts. Prices are slowly going up, so buying a 10-pass bundle is more cost-effective. If you don't have your own paddle, you can also rent one. Plus, there's free indoor and outdoor parking, which is super convenient.
Brian D.: ★★★★
Fun! Clean and organized Easy to access and you can start playing with friends or team yourself up weekly for exercise, fun and weight loss! Bung tang for years ain't too bad either. I think this property just sold to a computer company so it will be interesting to see what becomes of it at summer time. Let's go!
Rom N.: ★★★★★
Awesome play great staff and great venue love this place and the play is at all levels
Jim D.: ★★★★
After going to the hub for about a year, I'd say it's worth it. There are plenty of courts available for open play. For the amount of games you get with no wind or any elements affecting your game, it makes it worthwhile. During summer times, it can get pretty warm since there isn't any ac or much ventilation. Great community whether you're there for the social aspect or for competitive purposes. If you love pickeball, this is the spot to check out to get solid games in and meet new people. Only reason for 4 stars is there aren't any KitKat or twix options at the front. Reid, if you're reading this, I know you can make it happen!
Xiao Z.: ★★★★★
Such a fun place to hang out with friends! Pickle ball is going viral this year and I'm so happy that we have an indoor place to play, before this I need to get up early to play pickle ball otherwise the sunburn will be really bad. The flooring was really nice to sprint on, and it felt the ball was bouncing higher. There are also lawn chairs you can sit on and rest. It's good grouping place for sure.
Mark M.: ★★★★★
My wife and I have been members since the start. Great personnel all welcoming. We have had Trish for instruction and what a personable coach she is. Engaging and wants to teach you how to be better with your skills. We look forward to coming to the ladders and some dupr events.
Debra C.: ★★★★★
The Hub has become my happy place. There is a wonderful community of players that are welcoming to all. When things are tough in my life, I can count on a good pickleball game to break me out of my rut.I saw a previous post about Trish that I found very upsetting. She has helped me move my game. I am a bone cancer survivor and have limitations. She is continually working with me to improve my game and she does it with compassion and understanding. To find someone who truly understands what you are working with and striving for is hard to come by. I'm thankful for Trish and the HUB community. Let's Go!
Molly W.: ★★★★★
More than a facility -- it's a home for pickleball lovers. I've been a proud member of The HUB Pickleball SV since they first opened their doors in August 2023, and it's been nothing short of an incredible experience. Whether you're just picking up a paddle for the first time or grinding your way toward the pro level, The HUB truly has something for everyone. The drop-in courts are active all day, thoughtfully organized by skill level so you're always matched with solid competition -- from 2.5 to 4.0 and above. And if you're looking for more structure, their ladders, round robins, and leagues keep things fresh and competitive year-round. Their instructors are extremely helpful, offering clinics and private lessons. You can tell the coaching staff genuinely cares about helping players grow. It's not just about technique -- it's about community, growth, and confidence on and off the court. On top of that, The HUB hosts monthly member parties, national-level tournaments, and private events in their modern, clean, and well-maintained space. The energy is unmatched, and the staff is always welcoming, helpful, and passionate about the game. The leadership here has also been incredibly responsive to the needs of the players. Their willingness to grow and adapt -- like recently introducing a Challenge Court -- shows how much they value their community. From top-tier gear in the Pro Shop, to the contagious energy of competitive play, to the friendships I've built here -- The HUB isn't just a pickleball facility... it's a family. I'm beyond grateful to be part of it. If you're in the Bay Area and love pickleball, this is the spot.
Jake M.: ★★★★
Amazing facility, the crowd is very welcoming and fun. I had a great time playing drop-in. Only problem is that it's very expensive to pay for 1 day.
Stephanie M.: ★★★★★
I've been a member of The Hub for one year and was a Pickleball newbie when I joined. I can't say enough great things about The Hub community. I have made a new, wonderful group of friends that have now become friends off the court. I have to give a special shoutout to the Head Pro, Trish. I have taken a few lessons from her, and she has elevated my game beyond where I thought I would be in one year. She is positive, patient, and kind, and her passion for the game is infectious. She genuinely and deeply cares about helping people elevate their game. She's helped me with both my physical and mental game. I can't recommend Coach Trish enough. Whether it be a lesson or just a quick chat in passing, I always walk away feeling better about myself.
Pat R.: ★★★★★
Best indoor courts ever! The largest indoor facility in the country. Cool staff an tons of good players.
Laura C.: ★★★★★
Joining The Hub last December has been such a terrific decision, not only do I get to play pickleball whenever I want, but I've met a great group of like minded women wanting to play, have fun and stay fit.I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for Trish, all of the time, effort, and guidance she has invested in me over the past season. Her coaching and mentorship have been invaluable to me, and I've grown so much as a player because of her support.

It's not pack and clean and cool and worker was very helper answering all my questions

Great Club, but I do have two issues. We pay good money for a FULL MONTH membership, YET MANY TIMES courts are Limited or Entirely taken over by events . . .Why BE CHARGED for every day of the month, and NOT GET what we PAID FOR? There should be Compensation because, THE HUB often "Double-Dips" revenue by Charging participants 4 the event AND US MEMBERS who don't have full use of the facilities???We pay to PLAY, not to observe others!Other issue: There is No Employees supervising the courts area, so sometimes there are play violations that are frustrating. 1. Jumping the waiting rack is prevalent w/ cliches of friends waving friends into play w/out their paddles being in the rack. . . 2. Singles are skipped because they don't have a partner . . . 3. Players chatting endlessly with spectators during play w/in a game, while others are waiting for play to continue. Our only option? Freeze your membership, Be CHARGED & TAXED (?) "STILL" 4 the privilege!Otherwise, I hope the fee TO PLAY doesn't raise again above the $150 - $120/ month! Put a gym in those "special rooms" for those who want to stretch, & strength train!A Gold Founding Member

I joined the Hub before it opened and one of the first persons I met was Trish. I've been lucky enough to have had numerous lessons and clinics with Trish and feel confident to say she's helped me improve. She's patient, understanding and quickly spots areas which need attention. Trish is so encouraging and supportive for all levels, I highly recommend her.
Diane R.: ★★★★★
My friend and I attended the 3 hr intro to pickleball class and it was fantastic. The time flew by because we had such a great time and learned a lot. Kim was our instructor/coach and she was amazing!! We will definitely be back for more
Cecilia R.: ★★★★★
I came to the hub not knowing anyone there. I booked a lesson with coach Trish, and I was so impressed with her! Not only is she amazing as a coach, but she made sure I felt welcomed and introduced me to an amazing group of ladies. Trish has helped not only my game, but her caring , loving and fun personality has made my experience at the hub the best!!!
Raghav V.: ★★★★
Good place to go play pickleball especially if you can spend a lot of time. If you are only dropping in for a couple hours every week this place is expensive ($25 per head for non-membersentry per day.
Karol S.: ★★★★★
Great place to play and meet new players. No wind, no rain!!! 20 courts. 8 challenge courts and the rest are reservable.
Tina K.: ★★★★★
Great idea for more pickleball courts in the area. The more the merrier! Mike and Trish help make it a special place!

$40 is kinda wild for drop in play. Here for a conference in downtown San Jose and wanted to find some pickup games for a couple hours. I paid it and was able to play 7 games in 3 hours. Nice courts, nice community of people, but it would have been nice to pay $40 for 2-3 days. For those curious, $40 is a day rate, but i’m assuming most won’t spend all day there. if you need an uber (which i did from downtown) it’s going to be about $15 each way. If this is you, That’s roughly $70 + whatever you tip for Uber to play 7ish games. The 3 stars is based solely on the high drop-in price.
Amy F.: ★★★
Front desk is friendly. Courts are nice and protected from the elements. Though there's a couple of things to be aware of: - It's been very crowded the times I've gone (4-8 paddles down); I recommend you avoid going on rainy days. - Air is a bit hot and humid, which is not super comfortable. - The vibe is more competitive (rather than social) compared to other places in the area. - Even if you're just a guest for the day, they still make you sign up and give them your phone number, birthday, credit card info. - The court surface is quite gritty compared to most places. I like it for moving around, but expect more wear on your shoes and pickleballs. Unfortunately the day pass is a little too expensive to be worth it now, at $30/visit. But it might be decent if you join and make it a regular thing.

Good experience with recent issues. I'm a member. Sometimes the courts get booked for a company event or outing so many courts can't be used. Sometimes the hub is fully closed so no one can enter the hub. Recently price is raised and courts are closed so hub experience has degraded

The place doesn't have seats for events, if you're planning an event, prepare yourself for being on your feet the whole time

Played at the hub since it opened few years back. Competition is there but everything else feels lacking. For open play on popular times, it feels that there’s too many people queued up - waiting over 20min is not normal. I feel like there should be a player cap in the facility regardless of membership/drop in. The membership fee is wayyy too much and should be priced lower for the locals who already spending so much on other basic necessities in the area. I would only recommend coming here at dead hours with a group of people you love playing with. That’s how most of the hub players here make it a better experience for themselves. Don’t get me started on the bathrooms either…. Anyways 3/5 stars as the courts, competition, and dupr rated play events make up the good in this facility. Hoping they can change things around to make it a better experience.

Overcrowding has become a serious issue. Adding insult to injury they often block off many courts. I left early today due to the long wait and passed 5 empty 'reserved' courts on my way out. Amazing new facilities. Great players, so always competitive games. expensive and gets very very hot during the day. No AC and limited air movement.

Came for their soft opening free play Saturday July 29th. They hosted open house for Saturday Sunday. I came because friends mentioned it and it was a great way to spend my Saturday morning. I wish I stayed longer but it got unbearable in there. Yes, it was free, yes it was busy....So for starters, I came and was not greeted by anyone. There were three people at the front desk. With no direction, I stood there awkwardly. My friend saw waivers and asked, do we need to fill this out? Not much of an answer, but we signed in. Then proceeded to wait.... We didn't know it was just sign in and walk in and play.. Luckily we saw our friend! He took us in to where our friends were playing. Right off the bat, no introduction to the facility, the rules, or membership. I understand that maybe they didn't because it was free?Anyway, it was a mad house party up in there. It was fun to hang out with friends and meet new players, but it got competitive quick. Then after one game, I realized how hot it was. Yes, this won't be at full capacity when it's memberships only, but I felt like I was doing bikram pickleball. Is that a new thing now? haha. There is no AC in the warehouse. Again, I know it is new, but wow... It was HOT. Ready for the kicker? It felt like an adult chuck e cheese. The place smelt like feet and BO. I'm getting flash backs just thinking about Saturday. Haha. wow. They have turf inside with small industrial fans so it was picking up the smells.... And these adults, they sure just don't know how to care for themselves. Some walk ways are a little narrow for the amount of space they have. I will say the staff can work on their greetings. I was interested in how things works, but no introduction or what was offered at the facility. Might come back in the future as a drop in once I find some information.

Checked this place out for free play on Sunday 7/30. The courts are very grippy, almost like sand paper, I would not want to fall on these courts. The court surface will also likely eat up the soles of your shoes quicker than normal outdoor pickleball courts as it's very textured/rough. The court lines however are also grippy/not slippery like the outdoor lines I've played on. On the other hand if you do a lot of spin serves/returns your spin is amplified on these courts. My buddy and I got there right at opening at 8am and their was already a line. Their are a couple courts they call "California singles" which have more narrow space for ATP shots. I personally think they should rebrand these to doubles courts for older folks who aren't going to be hitting ATP's, as a singles player I want no part in narrower courts as I do lots of running side to side and with less court space I would be running into their fences constantly. I also feel like because the surfaces are extra grippy, I'm more likely to get a knee injury, torn acl/ligaments on these courts. It was hot and they did have a couple fans but that wasn't sufficient. The lighting needs work, inconsistent lighting inside and a couple courts have dark areas where the lighting isn't consistent throughout the court. They have 4.0-4.5, 4.5+ courts, which is an interesting idea, just don't know how they're going to enforce that when most players don't know their ranking. A lady employee was trying to enforce who played where but that's a losing battle, especially when people have already been waiting to play. She had an attitude talking to prospective members, needs customer service training. Alright onto the positives, so many quality players it was nice playing with good players and getting to know them, love how people from all over the South Bay came to play here, felt like it's very easy to find talented players and to get a competitive match going. The shop didn't have great paddles to demo in my opinion, no Ronbus paddles, no volair paddles, they had a bunch of others but ya not the ones I was looking for. They do have a few drinks for sale, soda/Gatorade, would be nice to have like a juice bar (think like Jamba Juice or something). I might come here on a rainy day or so in the winter but the court surface does make me a bit concerned. It is nice to have an indoor option, time will tell. I would love it if their was a full size court dedicated to singles play, I find it hard to find people who even want to play singles so I think that would be awesome. Overall this place has potential.

I submitted a Membership Change Request Form in january to cancel my membership ($159/month). I was told it would be taken care of. It wasn't. I was charged for February, and now I've been charged again for March — that's $318 billed after I formally requested cancellation. No one followed through despite acknowledging my request. I've now had to escalate this to a credit card dispute and will be filing a complaint with the California Department of Consumer Affairs. The facility and pickleball experience are fine, but the way they handle membership cancellations is unacceptable. If you sign up, know that getting out may not be as straightforward as it should be. Save your cancellation confirmation and follow up aggressively — don't assume they'll process it.

I visited The Hub Silicon Valley for a "Rainy Day Drop-in," and unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the $40 price tag. In a three-hour window, I was only able to get on the court for four games. The wait times are excessive, and the paddle-saddle system is being abused; I saw multiple players placing two paddles down to skip the queue. For $40, I expected much better court management and oversight to ensure fair play.

Had a good experience in September and a bad one today. Honestly, spending $40 for a guest pass because I don’t live here and being told I can’t play on challenger court unless I have a partner. Everywhere I play one of the losers would play with me. Then a little later my paddle magically moved back on a rack. Asked the gentleman at the front desk about it, his answer to both issues was “gotta find a partner dude”. I thought I paid $40 so I don’t have to. Not really the pickleball spirit I’m accustomed to.

BE careful leaving credit card on file. There is a security breach. Talked to staff- david who said that ron would address this. Nothing. Zero accountability.

The Hub in Campbell, CA, is a disappointing experience for pickleball players, despite being the only indoor facility in the South Bay. At $140/month for a standard membership, you’d expect top-notch amenities, but there’s no gym, no proper locker room, and the bathrooms are often unclean. The facility prioritizes profit over its members, frequently hosting events that restrict open play for non-participants, leaving loyal members with limited court access. The management’s greed extends to their lack of community support. Their nonexistent social support towards local businesses shows how little they value their community. Worst of all, the coaching department, led by Trish, is unprofessional and unwelcoming. On top of unreasonable coaching fees, Trish is shockingly rude especially to higher-skilled players she is intimidated by. Her defensive attitude towards them is baffling—she seems threatened rather than excited about the opportunity to elevate The Hub’s reputation. This bitterness creates a toxic environment for players. The Hub may be a social hotspot, but its money-hungry practices, poor facilities, and unprofessional staff make it a frustrating experience. I can’t recommend it until they prioritize their members and foster a more welcoming atmosphere.

The indoor pickleball courts leave much to be desired. They tend to get uncomfortably hot due to poor ventilation, making it difficult to enjoy the game. On top of that, the facility charges an exorbitant amount for just about everything, including a fee to pause memberships. Recently, they’ve increased the charges for internal dupr games. The courts are almost always crowded, and more often than not, they’re reserved for events, leaving very few courts available to play. While the players here are highly competitive, you often have to invest a lot of time to get in just a couple of games within a few hours. Overall, the experience is frustrating given the high costs and limited availability.

While I appreciate the effort to support leagues and tournaments, the allocation of courts has become a significant issue for members. Prices have increased, yet fewer courts are consistently available for open play. It's frustrating that the majority of courts are often reserved, leaving members to share just two courts-even during peak times. For instance, a few weekends ago on Sunday, only courts 1 and 14 were open to members, while all 18 other courts were reserved. This pattern has been growing more frequent, and now I've learned that the facility won't even be open to members on 11/21 due to a private event (a full club buy-out). I understand the sport is growing, but this approach feels shortsighted and focused solely on profit, rather than on maintaining value for loyal members. A

Horrible experience with this facility, my company (meaning myself and our admin) set up a team building event with Trish directly. We were given information that was inaccurate and on multiple occasions mislead with our communication. Below is a summary of everything that went wrong. We only booked our event about a month out and here is what went wrong. We were given and quote and told we could change our numbers 10 days before. She backpedaled on this. All of a sudden no changes allowed according to the contract we never received. Told we'd be charged 50% for the down payment, instead charged 100%. Catering information said a 12 person minimum. All of a sudden it became a 20 person minimum. Told us we should get our catering elsewhere. Told us we need to sign a contract 3 days before the event. I had an outstanding question about the overcharge, she never responded and cancelled our event less than 24 hours out. I was communicating the question via text/email and was being ignored. Told I could help teach my team how to play, she reneged on that. 'Against policy', well I even offered to pay the coaching fee. I was really looking forward to teaching my coworkers how to play. I play 4.5+ and now had to cancel same day with my team. What a way to run a team building event. Overall the entire communication was a disaster. Disappointed as I love those who run the Alameda facility. We've played here numerous times and based off this experience they won't be getting my business again. If anyone would like to see snapshots of the disaster communication please feel free to message me. I attached just one of the emails we sent kindly asking for a response. Only to get responded with a cancellation email. I hope someone in upper management takes care of us. We had paid all invoices on time and were communicating daily with Trish, to be ignored. I'll be sharing my experience with all my friends in the pickleball community. UPDATE: Mike Fox spoke to me regarding our experience and nothing really came of that. I was more than willing to provide all the correspondence I had (seldom responses from Trish) yet supposedly this was already provided. I received an apology but that was it. No offer to make this right. I had a large percentage of the people I told this experience to express to me that this sounded like they had a better offer for the courts we wanted and purposefully cancelled our less profitable event. Not sure if this happened but that's how outsiders viewed my experience.

On 10/30/23, I received an email titled "November Newsletter" from The Hub stating, "MEMBER for a DAY VOUCHERS - purchase one for $25, or a pack of 10 for $200. I decided I would buy the pack of 10 on Nov. 17 and I drove over there and was told the 10 visit offer was "sold out". Nowhere in the "November Newsletter" email did it say the offer was expiring or subject to availability. So I asked for them to honor a visit for $20. (Full price was advertised at $25/visit.) The manager, Mike Fox, steadfastly refused and also said the day price was now $30. I said I just got the email a couple of weeks ago, it was titled November Newsletter, and it would be reasonable to honor the promises as a business. Again refused. I said that is a terrible business practice to send a offer to their email list and not honor it. With a smug look, Mike said, "maybe so." They also said when they get the 10 visit pass back, the price is now $250. To top it off I received another email from The Hub the next day titled "Member News" and there was no mention the 10 visit passes were "sold out", that the daily visit price went up to $30, and that the 10 visit pass is now $250. So I left refusing to give them any of my money when they won't honor their advertising promises. The place was overly crowded anyway and I would have had to sit out every other game. Beware of this dishonest business!

This place is way overpriced, $40 per day pass is ridiculous. Its sister club in San Diego charges $20 per day pass. We used to play here, they've been greedy and upping the price over the years. Time to look elsewhere.

No regards are shown for paid members. They host big private events at primetime (5 pm to 9 pm) leaving a few courts to members which is always crowded. The frequency was super low at beginning, but seems to be picking up pace now. If you are planning to take membership keep this in mind.

$139/Month + $199 Initiation Fee or $35 for a day pass is criminal. If you're going to justify charging that you should have some gym equipment or some other amenities imo Update: $40 for a day pass now (LOL)

wait times are getting longer and higher membership fees and initiation fees than their other locations. bathrooms also frequently smell of urine. Silicon Valley ($139/mo + $199 initiation) - 20 courts, no gym, no restaurant/bar Alameda ($135/mo + $69 initiation) - 15 courts & full gym San Diego ($99/mo + $49 Initiation) - 26 courts & restaurant/bar

I had a very frustrating experience with this pickleball facility. Last Saturday, my friend booked a court for 2 hours at 7:00 AM. He was specifically told that he had to show up in person to sign up, so he had to wake up early and drive 30 minutes to the facility just to complete the booking and pay the $60 court fee. The staff member who helped him also clearly said that he could bring however many people he wanted. However, when we arrived at 2:00 PM, a different staff member told us that even though the court had already been paid for, each person still had to pay an additional $40. That was never explained when the reservation was made. The biggest issue is the lack of transparency and consistency. One employee told us one thing, and another told us something completely different. By the time we got there, we were already put in a very awkward position because one friend had organized everything, and it would have been embarrassing to cancel on the spot. In the end, there were 5 of us, and each of us paid $40 on top of the original $60 court reservation. That means we paid a total of $220 for 2 hours of pickleball, which is completely unreasonable. This place seriously needs to improve its communication and clearly explain its pricing policy upfront. Customers should not be misled into thinking they are reserving a court under one set of terms, only to be hit with unexpected extra charges when they arrive.

Disastrous from start to finish. Tammy could not have been less helpful. I planned a corporate event at this facility last year including over $1000 in catering. The planning team was very difficult to get ahold of, requiring several emails and calls before responding. On the day, when we arrived, there were players on our reserved courts, the meager food offerings had been sitting uncovered and unlabeled for an unknown amount of time, and there was no event manager on site to speak with.Despite being indoors, flying bugs were all over the food and area (see pictures). We reached out seeking only a partial refund (specifically for the catering debacle) and were avoided, lied to, and ultimately denied. I have maintained all email records and am happy to share them here if further proof is needed.I let it go at the time, however just today received a fairly audacious advertising email from Tammy and decided to share my story here. Save your money and energy. There are plenty of rentable courts elsewhere.

Cool spot--I enjoyed it the few times I visited. Unfortunately, I had a negative experience with one of the staff/coaches, Trisha. She came off as rude and unprofessional, and when I asked around, others mentioned she has a bit of a reputation for that. Because of that interaction, I ultimately decided not to move forward with a membership.
