2 courts, and mostly quiet in the afternoon. Friendly folks. One court has a decent sized crack. More courts would be nice.

Beautiful park near downtown Danville. Plenty of baseball pitches, pickle ball and tennis courts around. And the walk along the perimeter is really nice, with mini rose gardens around. Props for the super clean restrooms. Playground: Children's play area. Baseball, pickle ball and tennis. Restrooms: 4 restrooms along the perimeter. Dog-friendliness: Dog friendly and seemed like they can be off leash while on the green

Adorable neighborhood park with a paved path, tennis courts, large playing field for dogs and humans. Ample parking, multiple restrooms, playground for children, and lavishly decorated with several rose gardens. Be advised that the playing fields are closed until March. Its nearly impossible to find a bad camera angle in this place, but the weather today made this the optimal choice.

One of the most well planned parks I've ever seen. I grew up playing sports here and attended the adjacent middle school. Family, kid and very pet friendly. Lots of room to run, ample tennis courts and a nice updated playground for the kids.

Osage Park is great place to visit! The play structure area is very large and has two sides to accommodate different ages. There are baseball fields scattered around. A walking trail surrounds the whole park which is pretty well shaded, lots of people and dogs walk here daily. Also, Tennis courts and 2 restrooms on opposite sides if the park. The Bbq areas with picnic benches are a nice place to have a gathering too. It is also beautiful when all of the roses are in bloom that are placed around the walking trail.

Absolutely lovely neighborhood park with athletic ball fields and support facilities, tennis and pickle ball courts but also a circular pathway, children’s play equipment and a picnic area with a large number of very nice tables. The entire facility seemed extremely well maintained and tended to and there were accessible restroom facilities. The most unexpected feature was the extensive and lovely rose collection in numerous gardens throughout the totality of the park. Many of the roses were labeled for identification with memorial placards or dedications. This park is a real attribute of this community and worth a trip to experience.

My favorite neighborhood park! It's not as close to my home as some others, but our dog enjoys the walk around the track, with all the opportunities to see (and sniff!) new ppl and dogs! Personally I prefer this park in the warmer weather of spring and summer, when the roses bloom riotously and the kids fill the air with happy sounds, from the playground as well as from the (3) baseball diamonds, but fall is nearly as nice, with many soccer games and always plenty of kids in the playground or running around the track. Be aware that despite signs to the contrary, dogs and dog groups here often let their dogs go off-leash, so you need to be able to control your dog(s) and small child(ren), for their own safety. Park is populated sunrise to sunset with reasonably friendly tennis and pickleball players; soccer or baseball/softball teams; the occasional youth martial arts class; and folks walking/running around the track for fitness. August - June the track is used for P.E. classes by the adjacent middle school, but before 8 a.m. or after 3 p.m. this doesn't apply, and even with school in session, the track is wide enough to accommodate jogging students alongside private individuals. Occasional birthday (& other) parties reserve the picnic tables for private use; it's also a lovely place to take photos, boasting a splendid rose garden at one end and planters full of roses, around the entire perimeter. Playground with climbing features, slides, & swings is a pleasant place for parents to bring their younger kids for playtime, any time of day. Playground: Swings; slides; sand for digging; "dinosaur bones"; play train cars & locomotive. Some wooden structures for climbing and pretend-play. Restrooms: Basic; kept reasonably clean. Occasionally you may find a lack of seat covers, paper towels, or hand soap, but I have personally NEVER been caught in one of the Ladies Rooms without toilet tissue, so kudos to maintenance for that! 🙌 Dog-friendliness: Park is very dog-friendly; there are typically many families and individuals present with their dogs. Signs note that all dogs are required to be leashed, but this seems to go unenforced: often you'll see canines let off-leash, singly or in groups. Picnic area: There are multiple picnic areas, including wooden tables with benches. These areas include large trash barrels and small barbecue grills. Use of these facilities must be reserved in advance.
