Tennis and Pickleball courts in El Dorado Hills, El Dorado County

3 lighted tennis courts, 2 dedicated pickleball courts. Located on the corner of Carson Crossing Rd. and Palmdale Dr. Park includes nine new courts with three tennis, two pickle ball, and four bocce courts. The playground has inclusive elements. The park has multiple shade structures, built-in barbecues and picnic tables, restrooms and a drinking fountain. There is a Bike Trail and Access Path (HOA maintained), and 2 ADA parking spots. The Park is dawn-to-dusk, and please ensure that you only park in the available parking stalls. New and well maintained. Very little shade. The free parking area is spacious, and there are several tennis courts. This is a nice park located right outside the gates of the heritage of the El Dorado Lennar gated community. The park has free parking for free in bocce courts, a playground, several benches and an area for barbecue parties that has a nice roof. The park has been newly constructed with new landscaping, and it is a nice quiet location. A distinctive feature of this playground is that it has play equipment where children can use musical instruments. Clean small restrooms. Well stocked.

According to Placerville News Wire park is in the process of removal of sports courts and parking lights, 50-foot stadium lights, removal of pavilion, benches & barbecues on the north side of the park and mitigation of nuisance noise and trespass.

General Sport Court Rules

• Please be respectful of others, including park visitors and residents.
• Courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Courts may be reserved and prioritized for District Parks & Recreation activities.
• Courts are for pickleball, and tennis use only. No bikes, roller-skates, skate boards, or other sport activities are allowed on courts.
• Only non-marking court shoes are allowed.
• No tournaments or paid instruction without prior written approval from EDH CSD.
• No food or beverages, except water. No glass containers in court areas.
• No smoking, vaping, alcohol, or drug use is allowed.
• No graffiti or obscene or insulting language.
• No pets allowed on courts.
• EDH CSD may eject anyone from sport courts at the District’s discretion.

Pickleball Rules

• Single Group (not Open Play) playtime and private training are limited to 60 Minutes when courts are full and players are waiting.
• Open Play time when courts are full, and players are waiting.
• Play is limited to doubles only, one (1) game to 11 (win by 2).
• Rotation is 2 on, 2 off, winners have a two-game maximum in that rotation.
• Rotation is 4 on 4 off when there are 6 or more paddles waiting.
• No pickleball allowed before 7:30 AM

Tennis Rules

• Playtime is limited to 90 minutes when courts are full and players are waiting.
