The splash pad is great after the recent renovation — kids love it! The only downsides are that some benches are too close to the water features, so when kids spin the fountains, people and belongings can get soaked. There’s also very little shade in the splash area, and the ground on the regular playground gets extremely hot for bare feet. But overall, it’s a fun and pleasant park!

Great FREE way to keep the kids cool in these extreme temperatures. The splash pad is loads of fun for all ages (I got hot and ran through myself). It is right nest door to the playground (divided into two parts) and the floor is rubber so you don't have to worry about the kids getting all muddy. Ample free parking by the baseball field makes a short walk to fun!

A great place to visit with kids, especially on a hot summer day. They have a nice water play area where kids can run around and play with water sprinklers. It's also a playground so there are a plenty of things for kids to do. The only caution would be that I saw a homeless person using sprinkles to wash himself which was a bit unsettling since water doesn't completely drain but collects in the middle....my kids were done by the time he came to wash up but I would just be mindful of things like that potentially happening when you are here with your kids!

I love coming to this park. I love to play basketball and shoot around both in the inside and outside courts. The baseball and soccer field are large enough fields to play in. The restrooms aren't too bad and are well maintained outside. I love just running around this park and taking jogging laps in the morning.

My kids love this park, especially during the summer when they have the Splash Pad going. It is easy to take the kids and let them run around. They go between the play equipment and the water. I like the rubber padding in the splash pad area, it keeps my kids from slipping. The only bad part is that to turn the water back on, the kids have to run off the rubber padding onto the cement. I have seen several kiddos slip and fall. Other than that...the perfect, refreshing thing for my kids on a hot summer day.

Pacific Park and Community Center is a charming tiny park located in a very nice and quiet residential neighborhoods near San Fernando Road in charming city of Glendale California. This park is easily accessible from the 5 Golden State Freeway and the 134 Freeway near San Fernando Road. Perfectly nestled between Verdugo Mountains and Griffith Park. This park offers open spaces, fields and courts for both outdoor and indoor activities such as soccer, baseball, tennis and basketball. This features a well maintained community pool, large playground and community center. Community Center offers various programs for all ages including children and adults. Parking can be problematic.

This park is conveniently sandwiched in between a school and a local neighborhood. It has a basketball ball court, community swimming pool, community center, play ground, baseball field, and soccer field. They also have an area which can be rented for a nominal fee. The area has a grill and sink to prepare food. There is also plenty of seating to accommodate parties of 20+ or more people. A jumper can be place on grass very conveniently for kids to enjoy too. This place is always busy with a lot of people in motion getting their sweat on. The community center is very large and can accommodate parties too. Inquiries about pricing can be found at the office. I've been to an event there and it was in the gymnasium which actually looked good with all decorations in place. Parking can be a problem but with plenty of patience a spot is bound to open up. So now go out and pick any of the different activities and stay active and remember to hydrate.
