This school district is probably the best I have taught at so far as a substitute teacher. It's too bad I don't live in the area . Teachers and students get along really well . Students are very respectful

Admittedly compared to Blach... the Blach facility is much better, but Egan itself is a great school and I love it. I disagree with the other review, junior high was awesome and the faculty at Egan is outstanding; I graduated in 2008 and I still go back to say hello to old teachers who've now become old friends. Some of the facilities are fairly nice relative to Cupertino middle schools such as our gym, but the track is definitely lacking since it's still a dirt track. Lots of traffic here around 3pm on Portola, so watch out for that. A lot of great things going on at this school--it's also at the forefront of technology usage in the area.

This is another school with nice grassy fields and park like surroundings. It's in a very nice and quiet neighborhood, and still pretty close to El Camino and other shops, so it's really convenient to walk to and great for midnight walks and hangout.

Having moved several times, I have experienced many different teaching methods..... Compared to several of the schools I have been to, I think of Egan highly, which is saying much. The usage of technology other resources there is wonderful, and the teachers care for the students almost like they would their own children, which I find very comforting. While being a smaller detail, the food is much better than a typical middle school lunch, which obviously can't hurt. Overall, I think Egan is a great school with amazing teachers!

Here, School hot lunch is more expensive than private schools, I don't know why. Otherwise it's an ok school.
Melissa S: ★★★
The campus itself is pretty sweet, with a newly renovated gym (~3 yrs old) and a 1/4 mile track that people jog on after 4pm (due to after-school sports). There's a tiny charter school in the back, near San Antonio Road, and the blacktop works well for pick-up bball. That said, it's a junior high, and therefore it cannot receive more than 3 stars. Let's face it. Junior high, by default, sucks.
