I give shadow park 4 stars because Mens restroom is horrible. Brand new tennis courts their the best in LA right now they're beautiful The courts are very slow due to the fact they've beand paint it in a little sense in the paint on the surface of the court but other than that the courts are great. Also new play ground for the kids so that's a plus 2 it's been revamped That's very nice. They do have a basketball gym but I don't know back in the days they used to let you play in there I don't know what's going on there do have basketball courts on the upper yard outside just gotta be very careful. I do see a lot of dogs there so there is dog friendly they're park I sneighbors people that live in area walk in their dogs in the park it seems like they have them on the leash and they're tamed so no worries there as far as the picnic areas I believe they have a couple of picnic areas up on the hills somewhere overlooking the playground where the kids play they're not it's a pretty cool park The park is right on the East Side of shadow bowling lanes which is on 4th street and Vermont so it's not hard to find at all.

It's A nice Park For My 2yr Old to Play Around... My Son Loves Running Everywhere, so it's Kool With Him...
Richard “Rich” Clarke: ★★★★★
A nice quiet little park, not a lot of homeless like many others. I really like the little fitness area in the back, it has the various dip and lat pull-down machines, a climber machine, some elliptical type things, and most importantly some pull-up bars!

Honestly I haven't went yet but I saw broken swings graffiti and lots of beggers

The men's outdoors restroom by the playground The kids playground is terrible needs to be taken better care of other than that and the park tennis courts need to be redone haven't been done in about 20 years I don't know why all the other LA City parks tennis courts has been done but Shatto Park has never been done recently within the last year I know there was a bond for LA City to have tennis courts and stuff redone but for some reason Shatto Park was missed. LA City need to do something about the homeless encampment adjacent to the tennis court it can be a lot better place and make people feel more comfortable being there because you shouldn't have to see indecent exposure of growing adults men and women coming out of their tents.

My kid spent the spring break there. It was terrible. He asked me to don’t go more and he was crying. The kids were bullying him because he was the youngest. The parents didn’t receive the schedule about the activities. the staff wasn’t friendly. The playground is opened and homeless have access. then I was very worried about my kid. and you need to know that... if your kid doesn’t like the program refund your money... terrible ... zero star... Lesley Palomar-Cruz: The playground is full of graffiti and it's dirty. The playground also sucks for kids. I as fooled by the reviews. Homeless encampment nearby. The only thing nice is the recreation center. (2★)
