Lovely group of diverse players ranging in skill levels and overall very inviting! Highly recommend visiting on your own, and bringing a friend along sometime too. It's a very social group that is very active and keeps in touch about new hours that suit the group best continually. Hope you join one of the most dynamic, laidback and fun pickleball groups on the Westside!

I am new to pickleball and found WPC and Pong through the US Pickleball association website. He's really friendly and welcoming. Pong matched me with a very experienced group member who graciously hit the ball with me. Don't be nervous. it's a friendly group that seems to run by the ethos that we all have to start somewhere.

Best place to start your pickleball journey if you're in the Westwood area.
Annie Gray: ★★★★
As a beginner with no experience with racket sports, Coach patiently guided me through the fundamentals, making sure I was building up good form and technique from the start, and gaining confidence along the way. He pays close attention to any patterns in my plays, and I leave each lesson feeling like I learned something new. Most of all, he instills a sense of fun in the journey, reminding me of the progress I am making each time, and providing me clear and actionable pointers on my grip and arm angles so that I continue to level up. I have continued to take lessons, and I am thrilled to share that I am beginning to rally with my husband and play games with friends. Thanks so much, Coach !
J. Boogie: ★★★★★
I play live ball here, it's the best place to play and very affordable, what a combo! Sometimes they have free tequila shots too.
Alex Meikle: ★★★★
Fairly well lit tennis courts. Court condition is decent but court 7 has a broken net.

Good quality tennis courts

Great park has everything, best indoor pool year round, heated, clean and nice guards. For the park facility, it has the best soccer field, great sand area for little kids, good play area for older kids. BBQ around the park. Basketball courts, tennis and more
Marvin Lowery: ★★★★★
Swimming, Soccer & Tennis. A big playground, with Zip-Line & Swings. Right behind the Federal Building in Westwood, CA. Fun.
stephen nimick: ★★★★
tennis courts recently got better lights. Much improved tennis playing experience. Usually plenty of parking in the lot accessed from Sepulveda
C. E.: ★★★★★
Played tennis here, nice facilities
Babak Masjedi: ★★★★
Great park with outdoor basketball, tennis courts, BBQs and a lot of open space. Also a kids play area.
Melissa Soon: ★★★★
This park is a great space and has a lot of room for activities such as soccer, Frisbee, or volleyball. The only downside for me is the fee for using the tennis courts. However if you go before 5pm Monday through Friday or avoid 10am - 7pm on the weekends, the courts are up for grabs and generally available. Another issue I have with the park is the maintenance of the sprinkler systems. For a private owned park, I would expect a little more care. Often, there are huge puddles of mud resulting from faulty sprinklers. Other than that, I've never experienced any trouble. I do hear that dogs must be leashed at all times since sometimes a policeman rides around the park distributing citations. I think that's ridiculous.
Lisa Wall: ★★★★★
Great place to play tennis 🎾 and soccer. The space age bathrooms are a experience. I truly enjoyed. …
Rob Pene: ★★★★★
Great Park for soccer because it’s set up for an entire tournament with multiple teams. I love that there’s also a dog park and playgrounds so it actually can be a family outing for tournaments.. the only drawback parking is very scarce, even street parking is filled up very quickly so it gets a bit frustrating trying to find parking. There’s a basketball court that adds to the flare of it.
Daiana Pereira: ★★★★★
This park is a winner for my family. Awesome playground, spacious fields perfect for soccer practice, but just a heads up – weekends can get a tad busy in the parking lot. Still, it's a great spot overall.

we love this facility in the past. That has started changing .... We have been taking kids here to aidan's place and the center for swim and gymnastics lessons. Now they no longer offer any gymnastics for kids. We love the teacher and staff here pre-covid. I can't say much for the program now. They are professional and overall kids loves it. They had a better director and organizer before who was always on top of things but I noticed nowadays their class schedules and activities and camps always show up last minutes right before the start of these activities compared to in the past when all was ready around same time as neighborhood rec center. They don't seem as organized and on top of things anymore. Their gymnastics room is left idle and nothing for use. Their art classes are limited and they don't offer any leagues or clubs for adults. We need stuff like pickleball, volleyball and other sports for adults too. I hope they start listening and serving their community at large again.
Michael Fields: ★★★
The courts surface is good but there is always a lot of debris on them. Can someone use a blower to clean them up?
Michael Eveloff: ★★★
Available recreation options are great and will be even better with the new Tommy's Field. The park will have a full sized soccer field, a u10 field, aidans place play area, outdoor basketball courts and newly refinished indoor courts. Racketball , tennis, gymnastics, a pottery kiln, stage, meeting rooms and indoor pool round out the rec options. Summer camps and other programs available once covid is in the rear view mirror. Two substantial issues exist: safe bathrooms and runaway homeless encampments. Let's hope those are resolved soon.
Arthur Bartholomew: ★★★
Nice sog park, plus synthetic grass soccer field & 6 tennis courts. There is easy free parking from the # homeless people staying overnight in tents every night has been staleadily increasing.

Evan McSwegan: ★★
Convoluted sign up process to use, you must bring your own net and pay $12 per hour per court in advance on their website. Probably go somewhere else if you're not part of a group. Scratch that. Definitely somewhere else for free open play.

I had a deeply upsetting experience at this facility. While playing, an older agressive woman hit me in the chest twice with a ball--deliberately--and never apologized or even acknowledged me. When I brought it up, the coach dismissed it entirely, saying it was "totally fine" that she did that. It wasn't fine. She should have at least apologized for hitting me twice in a row. It felt targeted and personal. To make matters worse, I spoke to the tennis team manager afterward, and he looked completely uncomfortable, said nothing, and just stared at me. No support, no accountability. This kind of behavior should never be acceptable in any sports community. I expected better.
Mike Jeon: ★
stopped doing liveballs here after a bad experience. lights went out during a middle of a nighttime liveball and did not come back on so was cancelled midway through. I emailed the office for a partial refund and they refused saying it "wasn't their fault" the lights went out so tough luck. I will never go back there and I've told all my tennis friends the same.
Michael Jeon: ★
Went to a liveball here at night and the lights went off halfway through. They refused to give anyone even a partial refund. Said it wasn’t their fault so therefore no reason to give any refunds. That logic makes no sense. Obviously just interested in robbing their customers of money and not caring one bit about customer relations. And this is coming from someone who has played dozens of liveballs there. Never again.
JA: ★
In case you consider yourself a good player and you coming for a liveball, I suggest dont even try, coaches doesnt care about the level of players, management doesnt care either, its becoming to a point its a joke. On top of that, no warm up (drills) in a 90 min session
M C: ★
I was trying to rent a court, they act like they have no idea how to do this. Only suggestion is call the city(no number given). The city directs back to them. I have no idea how can you rent a court, I dont think they know that too although they are located in that court and give lessons.
Armen Babakanian: ★
I asked the person if I can reserve courts here and he/she said wrong number. But initially suggested its only tennis lessons. Very poor communication skills.
Juan Covarrubias: ★
During the palisades fires I was asked to leave the shelter because someone accused me of stealing. 8 police officers from the Wilshire district escorted myself and my mother off the property during a mandatory evacuation. I have the video of the red cross volunteer accusing me of taking a phone before I'm asked to leave.
Jack M: ★
Parking is always tight. Many lots are marked as for staff only but remain vacant all day while parents look for parking all over the place
Arash Vafanejad: ★
I came here for a swim in Wednesday June 12, Antonio who was the guy behind the counter did not have change and therefore did not let me and mother in law go for a swim. I even offered for him to keep the change but he just did not care, from a community center you expect more of a help. If anyone is paying attention hire people who enjoy serving not the one who enjoy disappointing people of the community.
