Theodore Mac Quidem: ★★★★★
Very scenic park that is easily accessible from California Oaks Rd. Multiple facilities to include a public swimming pool, two full basketball courts, sand volleyball, skate park, tennis courts, and several baseball fields. There are also multiple restaurants and fast food places in very close proximity for times when you need to refuel after a day of athletic activity. The restrooms at the park (located in vicinity of the pool) are a tad bit above average in terms of cleanliness compared to some of the other municipal parks/sports centers, but still nothing worth writing home about. Parking is available in either in the park facility or a long California Oaks Rd. (except during certain special events or other city activities, in which case temporary no parking signs will be posted).
Jillian Robinson-Garcia: ★★★★
Softball fields- concrete stadium seating or grass, good park, basketball courts and tennis courts. Bathrooms bring your own soap and toilet paper
John Sellers: ★★★★★
Great little park that typically has lots of kids for your little one to play with. A playground for the smallest, basketball and tennis courts for the older ones, and a few baseball fields for team sports.
Gerardo Ramirez: ★★★★★
This park is awesome! It has a playground for the kiddos, a skate park, basketball courts, baseball fields and even tennis courts and a pool (pool not open yet). Nice trail for runners and lots of poke stops for gamers, restrooms are open as well. It's a very good park over all, downside to it is that during softball season there's no parking.
Gerald Casanada: ★★★★★
Nice looking park. Only used the play area but it looks very clean. Very spacious park with a lot of different activities from the kids play area, to swimming, tennis, basketball courts, open grassy fields, baseball/softball fields and a skatepark. I even saw a Boys and Girls Club. Definitely will go back.
Melina Kinder: ★★★★★
I love this park for my kids. The parking is very close to the playground. There are bathrooms close by. The park has sand, which I prefer. It's a sports park so there are tennis courts, a pool, a skate park, baseball fields, and baksetball courts. There is also a large grassy area nearby. It's well maintained. There are two playing structures; one for small kids and one for big kids. There are a few tables near the playground under a canopy so you can sit in the shade.
John Lee: ★★★★
Nice park. Mainly come here for the kids playground and tennis courts. Can be very busy, but I appreciate that there's separate play structures for under 5 and then over 5.
Alexander Inzunza: ★★★★
Nice clean park that has something for the whole family. Basketball court, tennis court, skate park. The have a small part for toddlers and a bigger playground for larger kids. Only thing missing is bbq grilling area.
jeffcp1: ★★★★★
Very nice and clean, they have a large playground, two tennis courts, basketball and baseball field.
Ryan Beach: ★★★★
This park has 5 baseball fields, a pool, a skatepark, playground, two tennis courts, and more. Large park with plenty of space. Home of the Murrieta girls softball. Would be 5 stars if grass was maintained. Unfortunately, drought has caused grass to die and playing fields then become patchy and uneven. This makes it difficult to field baseballs/softballs. This is also the location of the Murrieta Birthday bash, which has tons of stuff for kids, live music, and fireworks.
Alexandria Uribe: ★★★★★
Two nice playgrounds with a good shade over them. Water fountain works, it's clean and even though it's close to California oaks (busy street) it's well protected. Did not need to use the restrooms so can't comment. Also there's a Menchie's Froyo across the street. Hollaaaaa

Nicole Cannon: ★★★
Parking is limited for events like softball and their yearly birthday party, restrooms do not stay clean or stocked (every once in awhile you'll get lucky). Young teens riding their bikes around are rude.
Robert Glaser: ★★★
The park has gotten better however compared to some of the other parts it's not that great. The park has shown its age and has been neglected for so long it would almost be better to completely renovate the park that to try and fix the problems that are there. It is obvious The sports surrounding girls such as softball does not have the same imports it's as the sports surrounding boys such as baseball and football. The excuse given is at Los Alamos sports park is a new park, I understand however a distressed area such as a city to the North of us should not have better fields then us.
Donya Roschlau: ★★★
Busy on a Saturday. Under construction currently. Very small skatepark.
Amy Hawkins: ★★★
Great park. Lots of shade. The only bad thing is the unsupervised older kids on the playground when the after school program is over. Rude and in the way of the little kids trying to play
Joel Bennett: ★★★
The park is not a bad park... There is always super dramatic or shady people there fighting it seems... However, the parents are awesome and the pool and skate park are great.
Sylvia Perez: ★★★
I was at Calif Oaks Sports Park for a car show. It was great! However I was disappointed because the participants couldn't bring their pets but yet spectators brought their pets. That's nonsense!
Ryan Whitton: ★★★
Compared to other parks in the area, this one seems like it is not kept as clean. Still bring our kids here from time to time, but prefer Los Alamos park.
Arielle Parfait: ★★★
The playground wasn't much. My kids got bored quickly but there seems to be a lot of sports areas here such as basketball courts, baseball fields, etc.
Thom Hoffenkamp: ★★★
Nice park for sports and play of all sorts. Little kids have a long walk to the bathrooms from their playground, but otherwise it's well sorted.
Dan R: ★★★
Took my son to the skate park I don't like the layout of the skatepark none of it it's weird and too tight of quarters and the way that the ramps are is just all wrong
Cassidy Gage: ★★★
The city needs to do better by this park....needs better softball fields and more bathrooms, that are better.
Tom Dungey: ★★★
Very deserted of people. Playground covered area we sat and enjoyed a nice peaceful lunch.
nicholas harding: ★★★

I live within walking distance to this park. It’s a nice big park. There’s even a Boys & Girls Club on the site. It’s got a large playground equipment area. Two big baseball ⚾️ diamonds. Basketball 🏀 courts. A nice parking lot, with easy access from Lincoln off of Cal Oaks. Nice Big sturdy shade trees 🌳 Plenty of grass. Which they are currently in the process of having restored. That’s a Good thing. What I don’t get …. Is WHY IS THE POOL GREEN??? Why is it closed? The County of Riverside closed it???? That’s clearly what the sign says. There’s no date of origin of when the county closed it. There’s no listed reasons why it was closed. Soooo I went to the website. The Murrieta, California Sports Park area of the parks and recreation for Murrieta. It says Opening MID JULY!!!! Again another big hmmmmm. It was already past July 20, 2023 when I was looking at the website. I waited till the Monday of the next week. Maybe they had to wait for a part? To fix the pool equipment?? Monday July 24, 2023 I called. Finally reached an actual human. She transferred me to the head of Parks and Recreation… it was his day off. So I left a voicemail. This is Tuesday 07.25.2023. No return call yet. Interesting enough today, Google asked me to review Murrieta Sports Park. This is my review. I’m looking forward to changing this to a ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ review. Hopefully the pool gets reopened before winter 🥶 arrives. Sure would be nice if the community had a pool. That was cool 😎 and clean and clear.

Playground ok but amdirty. Restrooms definitely need updating. Lots of teens hoppi g short gate to pool area. One went in with pool cocer3on, no security or alarm. Very dangerous
Zmarai Hamdard: ★★
Because thier baseball ground and volleyball grounds are very close to main road and when you play be careful because every single minute the ball can go to the road.
Risa Chung: ★★
Tennis court surface needs to be fixed. It has bumps and dips along the lines.
Gabriel De La Rosa: ★★
Restrooms in park are neglected... park could use some TLC
