Best Tennis courts in National City, San Diego County for 2026

Las Palmas Park is located in National City and it’s a very large park with a large baseball field, plenty of grass space, golf course, recreation center, swimming pool and a small playground. The park has plenty of shade to sit under a tree or at a picnic table with the view of the park and swimming pool. The park also has a huge art mural right next to the swings along with a memorial plaque. Plenty of parking ( Park on E 20th Street ) Lots of Butterfly paintings throughout the park Bathrooms are available (not the cleanest) Recreation center with swimming pool near the park

Let me share with you my current experience with this little and yet huge park. Its an impressive approach at attempting to improve a very fragile and yet so very important part of all life. Athletics. And not just a park to walk your pooch or to take in shade. Enjoy the developing huge olympic style type pool being currently crafted. Athletics. Las palmas, has two fields that mirror each other where softball is played. From 8 u on to 18 u. And they love there softball. And it shows. And its great to see niches in the latino community put it down like this one is. And we are talking full on representation from all age groups. All working toward one goal, a place for all young woman, who want to play, a chance to do so. I truely like this place. Lots of all people!

Quiet, clean park with dog park playground and restrooms. Playground is a little small but has swings, slides and monkey bars.

Beautiful picnic park with community room, outdoor pool quite large. It's set up for laps or a swim meet. I like this park cause it's wide open, spread out and has several bathrooms . One near the large playgrounds, one by the 3 baseball fields and one on the backside by the golf course. It has lots of mature shady trees with picnic benches. My dogs love coming to this park . They love rolling in the well maintained grass. Love to go there and relax, feels like a real break in nature but close to home.
