De Anza Park is a fantastic spot for both people and pets! The workout equipment is well-maintained and in great working condition, making it a fun and safe place for kids. The open grass fields provide plenty of space for activities like picnicking, playing catch, or just relaxing outdoors. One of the standout features is how well-lit the park is at night, creating a safe and welcoming environment even after the sun goes down. My dog absolutely loved exploring the park, and it’s definitely a great place for pet owners to bring their furry friends. Highly recommend checking it out!

Nice, maintained, spacious neighborhood park. Plenty of picnic benches under a canopy of shade tress. A playground for children and workout stations for adults. There is also a volleyball court and horse shoe ring courts. And walking paths. And restrooms.
Yoshimi: ★★★★★
Very large park with baseball, soccer, volleyball, basketball (2 courts) and pickleball courts. The parking lot is also fairly large.

The lawns need more care. A few sketchy looking people were hanging around who made me feel uncomfortable. Other that, the park is fine. It has designations for a few different sports activities, a little jogging trail, and a few picnic tables. The tall, mature trees are knotted and look similar to the ones drawn in old cartoons and provide a nostalgic charm. All in all, the park is nice enough and a decent size for the neighborhood.

This probably isnt the safest place to be after dark but during the day it's fine. The bathrooms near the softball field are acceptably clean and stocked. The playground for the kids is pretty small compared to the size of the park and pretty old. Not my favorite park in the city but its nearby so...

To all those who complain about homeless using restrooms or daring to be at the park ..where else are they supposed to go?? It is a public place and with shortage of places opening restrooms at all now as it is, what do you think there is a homeless commune where they can stay out of sight of all you supposedly clean and self righteous people who don't even bother washing hands or throwing toilet paper in the toilet.

Held a birthday party here. It was nice and shady, had a cool work out station. Good if you need to accommodate many people when you're on a budget. 3 stars because the bathroom had no doors for the stalls.
Monica Sierra: ★★★
This park provides Open Spaces that are needed in urban settings however it has been sadly neglected. The lawn, benches and tables baseball diamond and bathroom facilities are in bad need of repairs and Improvement. It is disappointing that a park in a less wealthy part of town represents the economic differences as the parts in Hacienda Heights bird stunning in comparison. I hope the city takes a more active role in improving this once lovely park.

Indoor basketball ball court & gym

Great PARK, However, the long walk to the restroom can be challenging for some, children, seniors, handicapped... Its going to be a hot summer.... More Restroom facilities would suffice, also quick misters at fountains.... Thank you

Only one field for softball but the okay ground and basketball band tennis courts are very well kept.

I really enjoyed the park. Very spacious space. I had to come on Easter day so there were quite a few Latin people. I regret not giving more stars since I saw a lot of cigarette butts and even plastic from a rake in the playground. The bathrooms stayed clean for less than half a day. It sucks to enter since they were full of 💩. One of them was covered with too much paper, very sad to see how that area is not cared for by the park users themselves. In the men's bathrooms the children's urinals with 💩 🤢🤮 very sad but then they are pure people who do not know how to take care of other people's or borrowed things. Playground: Acceptable. Restrooms: Disgusting. Dog-friendliness: Yeah Picnic area: Very good and sufficient spaces.
Maricela Garcia: ★
It's not as clean as it used to be. There are homeless people using the bathroom in the park during the day. There are children leaving school, and the city doesn't care. It's no longer safe or clean.

They have a community center here which I didnt get to see due to it being closed (Saturday). It's a big park, from fern to Euclid. Plenty of space to have a get together and play soccer, baseball etc... Play ground is located near fern Ave. For most of the part the actual park is OK, plenty of trash cans and mostly clean. My complaint is there is only ONE SET of open bathrooms located by Phillips Ave. This bathroom is occupied by transients and druggies most of the time. We came around 12 noon and didn't leave till about 6pm the whole time it was hard to even walk in there (both men and women) someone was tagging in the women's stall a lady was living in the women's bathroom. A man was washing his clothes in theens restoom and had his stuff set up in there. 3 men were also blocking the men's side due to there "Drug transaction". So that's my take on the park. Hopefully the city of Ontario can clean up that part and the city can start doing maintenance checks on this.

The bathrooms here are disgusting. I go here every week due to practices for my children and there's always pads on the floor once I even found a needle I had to call the city and have them come and clean it up. The sink is disgusting the floor is disgusting the toilets look like they don't get scrubbed. At times I've gone into it has been feces that has been spread on the floor or pooped in the corner and then I'll come back a second time during the week and it's still sitting there. And there are a lot of homeless at this park in which I have never been bothered by any but they do frequent the bathroom and they will stay in the handicap restroom 4 hours sleeping or doing whatever else it is that they're doing in there. One time I went and the homeless were underneath where all the benches are and they had made the benches into beds for themselves by putting sheets and mattresses on top. And then they had the sheets hanging down so that way they had a little hideaway spot underneath the tables. And I understand they need somewhere to go during the day and parks are for everybody they don't have to take over the benches and make it to where we can't even sit and have lunch with our children. This park has potential to be it's those few things could be address. Oh and the ants there are vicious. We've had to call multiple times and ask them to have the park sprayed because we have been to the point where they were climbing into my child car seat and he had a bunch of welts on him and on my legs and the girls on the team. So my suggestion to you if you go to this Park where's bug spray for the mosquitoes and take raid and spray all around where you will be sitting. I still have welts on my from being bitten up two weeks ago and so does my son. The playground is very nice my kids enjoyed it and I actually enjoyed watching them play it seemed to be well-kept. The picnic area is usually packed sometimes with homeless but a lot of the time it's more so companies that are having parties or men going there after work to have their beers. And of course it is a dog-friendly Park just make sure to have your dog on a leash like any other.
