I came here for work in Sacramento and had to stop by. I’ve been to Picklrs in Texas and I wanted to see how others are. This Picklr also did not disappoint. After dinner instead of going out for drinks or dessert, we came to play. It was incredibly fun, playing for hours, and didn’t want to leave. Will be retuning when we’re back in the area, this place is a staple - glad CA is able to experience it too.

I have been a member at The Picklr Rancho Cordova for about 10 months, and have nothing but positive things to say about my time here. The facility itself is clean and modern, and the courts are well-maintained, well-lit, and fabulous to play on. The front desk staff is always very friendly and welcoming, and the group of coaches is top-notch - best in the region, in my opinion. This location also offers generous operating hours, and a wide variety of clinics, activities, and competitive events for players at every level. I highly recommend The Picklr to those looking for a first-rate Pickleball experience. Give it a try!

Came here for a networking event. First time trying pickleball and this is a really nice and clean facility. Employees were nice and overall had a good time. I would come back and do this again if it wasn’t so far from me. I recommend this place for anyone looking to play year round in a climate controlled environment.

Went here for the first time with some friends and it was a 10/10 remarkable experience. My friends are from Orange County where Pickleball is very very accessible (more than NorCal). They all collectively said that Picklr at Rancho was one of the best pickleball venues they've seen including all of the ones in SoCal! The staff at the front desk was super information AND patient with us, especially given that it was our first time and we had a lot of questions before committing and booking a court. We played for 2 hours and the facility was absolutely flawless, good lighting, good A/C, good community of respectful people & players, and each respective court was spacious. Truly had such a fun time with my friends here and I'm looking forward to coming back! Thank you to the workers at the front desk :)

We had a team event at Picklr this week. It was a blast. Place is new and super clean. From the reservation process to actual day of the event, entire staff was very friendly, kind and easy to work with. I love their customer service. Definitely a 5 star. Everyone in our team including the "new players" had a great time. Owner was very kind; he even let us hangout and play for an additional hour after our reservation as he saw we were having fun. Happy to recommend this facility & look forward to visiting more often.

Firstly, the overall playing experience is top tier. I’ve only played at a couple indoor courts but picklr by far is the best play experience. It’s well lit, has nice contrast, and most importantly it doesn’t have a ton of echo!! The greatest part about picklr is their staff. Since day one, the staff at the front desk (Kaia, Sam, Justin, Val, Brittany, Mary, pat, just to name a few) remembered my name and greeted me warmly by name every day. I generally don’t small chat but I feel like I’ve become friends with everyone! I’ve taken classes and lessons with almost all the coaches, namely Aj, Jen and Max. Everyone is highly knowledgeable , energetic and genuinely care about your play and progression. They each give immediate, personalized feedback and it’s helped improve my game by many milestones. I really do feel right at home here. I partake in the open play, court reservations, clinics, lessons, premier clinics. I would have to say that the other players I encounter are super friendly and of various skill levels. We’ve all become one big family and I would not change it for anything! Thank you Manish for putting this amazing staff and facility together! I hope to continue my membership here for months or years to come.

Wow this place is amazing! Have not seen anything like it for pickleball. Very clean & well lit. It's got a great vibe and everyone was super friendly. I'm just a beginner so I was a little nervous about playing in such a professional set-up but everyone was really nice. They had a proshop & paddles you can try out, so maybe I'll do that next time. It'll be great to go there as the weather heats up since they have AC! Definitely worth going to.

Our group absolutely loves taking lessons with this Selkirk emerging pro coach AJ De Castro. He’s incredibly energetic and has such a clear, engaging style of teaching. He has a unique way of breaking down strategies and shots into simple steps that make everything easy to understand and apply. We even plan our schedules around his classes because he always brings fun and playfulness to every session. The drive to Picklr is at least 40 minutes for us, but he always makes it 100% worth it. He consistently delivers great lessons, keeps everyone motivated, and makes sure we walk away learning something new each time. Great facility, great vibes, great coaching, and always a good time on the court! 🏓🔥 Highly recommend!

Great facility!…if only this place had a kids area or “daycare” while the adults play included in the membership. I play with my buddies at local parks and we all have kids so they play together while we play some games. If this place had a child area me and my friends would for sure purchase the unlimited membership! I know a lot of players who would love to join, but they have kids as well. Something to think about 👍🏽

Kudos to Pickler for organizing such a well-coordinated and smoothly executed pickleball tournament for Kaiser ICU Morse. Every detail was handled with efficiency and enthusiasm, creating a fun and competitive atmosphere for everyone involved. Truly a job well done! 👏 Highly recommend for corporate pickleball events! …

Such a great atmosphere, love the courts and love the gameplay. They are only missing one thing… a kid care center. I know so many people who join if there was a good place for the kids to go!
Lemuel Salvana: ★★★★★
We had our pickleball tournament today and we had a blast. Britany and the rest of the crew help facilitated the event. The courts are well maintained and everyone in our group had so much fun. Thank you everyone. Highly recommended place for pickleball events.

My wife and I went there to demo different to check out the facility and demo different paddles. I must say their customer service was top notch. Eddie, who worked at the front counter, patiently answered all our questions. We end up renting two paddles and paying for at open play court. As we were playing, Eddie noticed we were using the wrong type of indoor balls and let us borrow the correct type. While we were there, I spoke to another person who was a member and he had nothing but good things to say. Although we live in Roseville it's worth the drive.

This place is new to Sacramento but it's great. The courts are big and well lit. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They even have rental paddles. The locker rooms are clean and expansive and safe well lit. this place is good for all ages and all abilities.

We coordinated a private event hosting a pickleball tournament with The Picklr. Brittany is so kind and helpful getting the details together for us. On the day of the event, the workers were very accommodating and it was such an awesome day.
Sam Lee: ★★★★★
The facility is well-maintained and provides a pleasant environment overall. The restrooms and showers are consistently clean and well-stocked, and the courts are in excellent condition with a suitably gritty surface. The indoor temperature is generally comfortable, though there is a slight mustiness and humidity in the air during play, which is common for most indoor athletic facilities. Increasing ventilation and adding additional fans could further enhance air circulation and improve overall comfort. The reservation system is structured to ensure fairness for both members and non-members, and it works effectively in that regard. However, when courts are unoccupied, allowing players to reserve them on short notice or just open them up for open play could improve utilization and player satisfaction. The Picklr app is good but still need some work like you can't delete people from your reservation. Pay later option is always nice in case last minute you can't make it. The staff provide excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere, with special thanks to Deion, Justin, Eddie, Conrad, Sam, Britany, and Kiah for their professionalism and attentiveness. For the drill sessions, the instructional staff that I experienced, AJ, Johnny, and Max, are highly skilled and engaging. The clinics are effective in reinforcing proper shot selection for various scenarios and providing valuable corrections to individual technique. One potential improvement would be to publish an agenda for each clinic in advance. This would allow participants to select sessions that align more closely with the specific skills or areas they wish to develop. These DUPR/social/competitive events are both enjoyable and competitive, fostering a strong sense of community. The DUPR rating lock is understandable from a competitive balance perspective, but allowing players to opt out of the restriction could be beneficial. Those willing to challenge stronger opponents should be given the opportunity, understanding that such a decision carries the risk of a decisive loss. The pricing structure is reasonable and reflects the realities of operating an indoor business, no concerns. Maybe make tournaments, special classes, etc. half off or free for members, whichever option is better. The $5 summer specials were an excellent initiative, particularly for weekends and weekday mornings and afternoons when attendance is typically lower. Extending this promotion beyond summer could help maintain a consistently active environment, which creates a more vibrant atmosphere for both players and spectators. The 30 for 30 trail was a nice addition and should continue. But again business got to make money so $5 special is only temporary. For open play, to accommodate working professionals with standard 8–5 schedules, offering two evening open play sessions, one from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and another from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m., could significantly increase participation. This change might also encourage more players to consider the social membership plan. Additionally, since open play naturally includes both social and competitive games, it may beneficial to take it out. For example: designate two courts for DUPR events, four to six courts for open play, and two courts for lessons with the teaching professionals. Maybe split open play courts to half women/men/mixed, would also allow members to uniquely try out different partnerships if they wanted to. Clarification on the rationale behind the 90-day restriction for guest pass use with the same individual would be appreciated. Allowing repeat use for the same guest, as is common in many other athletic facilities, could foster stronger member engagement and potentially encourage guests to transition into full members. With the anticipated openings of new indoor pickleball facilities in Sacramento Greater Area, it would be valuable to understand what strategic measures will be implemented to maintain and grow membership. This place and location is great and I would like to see this place thrive despite competition.

I have been a member here since opening day. The staff are excellent. The courts are excellent. The program scheduling is meh, but I almost alway just reserve courts for set games which negates this issue. The app has bugs but you can call in and reserve stuff with the staff. It's pricey but if you are serious about pickleball this is a great place to improve and drill.

Just wrapped up the pickleball boot camp with Johnny and WOW — game changer! 🙌 Johnny is an incredible instructor who makes learning fun, easy, and super effective. My fundamentals have improved so much, and I finally feel confident going into matches without making those silly mistakes. If you’ve been thinking about signing up, do it; you won’t regret it! Huge thanks to Johnny for being an amazing coach and for running such awesome programs
Michelle Yang Chinen: ★★★★
I’ve really enjoyed the drill clinics, competitive events, and social events. These have been great opportunities to play with different players based on skill level, while also offering a clear path for improvement and advancement. One of the best features of The Picklr is the court reservation system, which allows members to reserve a private court for up to two hours to play with friends or run drills. Reservations can include up to six people, with a minimum of two. Personally, my experience in July was a challenging month, with court reservation time slots, events, and open play often fully booked, most likely due to the influx of trial members. I think this may have led to abrupt changes, such as new open play restrictions, adjusted event schedules, and tighter reservation policies to address the overcapacity. While it was a bit frustrating to see full-paying members face reduced access or added restrictions, I understand that this is still a learning process for management and staff, especially during peak season. I genuinely appreciate the time they’ve taken to listen and gather feedback to improve facility usage. I’d also like to thank Eddi, Justin, Deion, and AJ for making the extra effort to get to know members and ensure everyone feels comfortable at the facility. I’m excited to see The Picklr’s continued growth and thrilled to have an indoor pickleball facility of this caliber open in the greater Sacramento region. I will definitely be visiting again and encourage those who haven't already come out to visit or sign up for the trial when it is available! :)

YFC Sacramento recently completed an all--day tournament with 65+ players participating. The event was a great success, in large part, due to the great efforts of Britany Marisco, event coordinator/marketing manager. She is a real asset to the Picklr and she is solution-oriented and her follow-up is amazing. We look forward to another great event next year. Our deep thanks to Britany for her hard work and professionalism

If you’re into pickleball, this place is an absolute gem! The facility is top notch—everything feels super premium from the moment you walk in. The courts are spacious, brand new, and perfectly maintained, making every game feel like you’re playing at the highest level. It’s fully temperature controlled too, which makes a huge difference no matter the season. The staff is incredible—friendly, helpful, and always on top of things. And the open play hours? Couldn’t ask for better. Tons of opportunity to get on the court and play with great people. Highly recommend checking it out!

I can’t say enough great things about the Picklr. The facility is absolutely incredible and the staff members are super friendly and accommodating. If you love to play pickleball this is the place to do it. Sacramento weather has many extremes and you get to avoid it all by being able to play indoors year round in complete comfort. Stop streaming your life away on the couch and come have some serious fun playing a great game. Your future self will thank you.

I recently reached out to the Picklr - Rancho Cordova to throw a surprise birthday party for my girlfriend. I coordinated the event with Britany, the Co-Club Coordinator, and she helped me out so much. She was very communicative during the whole planning process and even checked-in after the event to see how everything went. I highly recommend the Picklr for your next party, as it is the best indoor facility in Sacramento!

Nice courts, good layout. Customer service is lacking, money > over customer relations. Not really any options to just show up and play, everything is scheduled and very strict so it doesn’t allow for much flexibility. No day passes, 25$ to play for two hours only. Any additional play that day will cost you more. Hard to justify the cost unless you do tournaments.

Eric Hsu: ★★
Pros: The facility is really nice, courts and walls are a very good color which enables you to see the ball well. Temperature is well controlled, so you can play at 2pm in the middle of the Sacramento heat and not worry about suffering from heat exhaustion. Cons: they basically make it not worth it to play at the facility unless you're a member. I had a private game set up, and they were trying to charge me $40.00 to play for 2 hours. The owner was nice, and cut me a deal to enter for $30.00. If you were to ask me, I'd keep the guest fee even regardless of what the guest is trying to do. Right now it's confusing since they have different rates depending on what you're coming for. I believe it's $25.00 for open play and $40.00 for a privately held court (for 2 hours). If I were to asses the value of a monthly membership of $169.00/ month, I'd say it really isn't worth it. However, this place has a ton of potential given that it is an indoors facility with a controlled temperature which can be a huge draw for the Sacramento's hot summers/ cold winters. If they were able to include a couple more facilities such as a gym, hang out spot (sofas with TVs), a bar/ bistro where people could hang out and host parties, this place could be a prime spot to come for pickleball.
Shawn Bacani: ★
Nice courts and good facility but here are the downsides: - water quality taste like trash need better water - open play hours on weekdays are trash 8PM-11PM, people got work the next day - clinics and DUPR events are DUPR locked which is annoying, 3.25-3.75 and 4.0+ clinics are legit the same type of drills and if people want to play higher and get better then let them don't limit people when they are paying already - guest pass usage is trash since the same person can only be a guest every 90 days and it is not an all day/more than 2 hours pass Good luck. Once Ace Pickleball, Pickleball Kingdom, and others in Sacramento Greater Area open up this place will probably be out of business, so do your part to stay in business by implementing the feedback from your customers and employees.
Maria C: ★
$169 per month! No gym, just courts. They don't answer the phone. Had to call multiple times to get someone to pick up. Nice courts but after playing there once, won't go back, membership too expensive.
