Best Pickleball courts in Sacramento, Sacramento County for 2026

I've lived in the neighborhood of the ACC services since before they were there. Now that I'm a Senior, I decided to check it out. I filled out the paperwork, paid my money, and was ready to go. Excited and a little nervous, I registered for my first two classes. I even called the day before to confirm. When I arrived, I was gruffly told to sign in (no smiles here), which I did. The computer allowed me to sign in, and the person at the desk asked what classes I was there for. At class time, I went in the room and waited.....and waited....until another member saw me and told me that the class was on a break and wouldn't resume for two weeks. Then I asked about it at the desk, and they just said, 'Yeah, there's not a class today.' That's the same person who just checked me in. I don't know why they let me pay and check in when there isn't a class. I sat and waited for the next class, 30 minutes, returned to the desk, and asked for the room #. The staff member told me that no one is available to teach the (2nd) class. The class they just checked me in on the computer and verbally. The front desk staff needs to know what's going on. I've been to other Senior Centers and have been greeted with a smile or a Welcome. At the ACC, the only people who were happy to be there were the clients. Maybe staff didn't like me, or maybe they don't like their jobs, but the 3 times I've been there, to sign up, to pay- and then for class, the staff is....blah. Staff issues aside, the computer system should not have let me sign in. I walked a mile to get there for nothing.

I have benefits on my Medicare Blue Cross plan, am I able to use the benefits for the $20.00, benefit is for a service place like this.
