We had a great experience visiting La Jolla tennis club in San Diego, based on a recommendation from one of the club’s parents. We attended the summer camp—and it was absolutely worth it. Coach Michael did a fantastic job. He made the sessions both fun and productive, giving my son personalized feedback on his form and helping him focus on improving his forehand and serves. They also played serve-and-return games, which really helped my son develop his game in a practical and engaging way. He had a great time and came back feeling more confident and excited to keep practicing. We feel very lucky to have had this opportunity!
Nikola Alic: ★★★★★
A public tennis club in the heart of downtown La Jolla established in 1917. 9 courts available, almost all with lights. Courts are in great condition and only minutes' walk from the ovean. The club is very accessible with a children's playground and basketball courts open to public. A unique experience to enjoy for members and general public alike. Some yoga, and exercise classes also offered in the facility.

Public tennis club, in a great location. Courts are in excellent condition. The place is busy, so reservation is a must. Courteous staff; even though they are not immediately answering the phone they reliably get back with you. I will definitely use them again.

John Li: ★★
Really nice courts at a decent price… most people are quite nice but just beware of of a select few grumpy old men and regulars playing there with severe ego and attitude… major male Karen vibes all around… avoid eye contact at all cost and just have fun within your own group… hopefully you won’t have to talk to one… or have one walk to you to show you his broken technique.
GONZALO GONZALEZ: ★
People are not very friendly here 🥲 …
Bernardo Sousa: ★★
Never answer the phone, difficult to book
Katherine Ackley: ★
Doesn’t allow pickle ball, lame.
Rosie DeAlejandro: ★
Very rude management and staff.
Julia Daigneault: ★
The staff, players and tennis pros are arrogant and unfriendly towards out of town players. I called a week prior to inquire about clinics and was told that I can just show up and pay the pro directly. The tennis pro was not welcoming. He said the front desk staff doesn’t know what they are talking about. He was so condescending towards myself and would keep making rude comments to the other players about me. I felt very uncomfortable and wanted to leave but didn’t want to give him the satisfaction. I will never come back here again. I will drive the 20 minutes to use my Bay Club membership!
