3 layover pickleball courts with lights, on a one full size basketball court in Meadow Park in San Luis Obispo, CA. Leafy public park with sports facilities, a barbecue area, community garden & horseshoe pit. There's a basketball court that can be converted to pickle ball, a kids' play area, public bathrooms (that are very ok), a community garden, and a nice paved trial for a kid to bike on. It does seem to be a hangout spot for some homeless people, but the park still felt safe.The volleyball courts have the lights on and taped net, so it's visible in the dark background. Now both courts has the lines in. Just bring your volleyball and enjoy the games. The basketball courts has the lights as well. This park affords a ton of walking around room. There is an exceptionally long trail running the length of the park and you can just do circles on it. The park isn't always super well maintained, but on average it's kept clean. The park also contains a community garden. There are public bathrooms that are OK. They are clean enough to use but do not have soap. Great location for parties and out door grills and people have birthday parties inside so you can rent that space as well. Adequate parking and fresh air.

This is a nice park. There's a basketball court that can be converted to pickle ball, a kids' play area, public bathrooms (that are very ok), a community garden, and a nice paved trial for a kid to bike on. Restrooms: There are public bathrooms that are OK. They are clean enough to use but do not have soap. Dog-friendliness: It seems to be a very dog friendly park. Most dogs were leashed. Picnic area: There are a few benches and lots of open grass space for a picnic. Bring a blanket and sit on the ground in the shade!

Has fun for the kids and adults volleyball courts and play ground also tennis and basketball courts too it's great there is bbq pits as well it's a perfect place for birthday parties or just a day out with family and friends. It's a lovely venue. Park has swings & climbers for kids w'parent supervision & participation. The grass is well maintained & plenty of trees for shade if you want some. Excellent for picnicing!! Could use more trash cans on site. Also, a pleasant place to take a quick break, smell the fresh air, orange blossoms on trees & if lucky you'll see squirrels or different little birds. Nice brain change environment.

Made a stop here because we were on the road from a road trip and we needed to find a park with shade and picnic tables to eat and it was hot too! So we found this park and it was beautiful and clean and very green! With nice views. Big amount of parking. We had our little grill to make hot dogs so that’s what we did. This is a beautiful, well maintained park. The part of the park with the baskeball area has a few parking spots. If you walk beyond the baseball field, the local Rotary Club has set up a sweet garden. Just beyond the garden, tucked behind homes is a long stretch of lawn and benches and bridges against a stream held by cement. I sat under one of the bridges and watched the dog walkers play with their dogs off leash. Yet, the grass was still bright green! Lovely park in a lovely city.

Big Park and great for walking, biking,jogging,. They have a basketball court and a volleyball court to! Great for parties and out door grills and I've seen people have birthday parties inside so you can rent that space as well. Way to many guys though. Oh well it's fun to chill in the sun regardless.

Man back in the late 80's I skated the ditch at the far end of the park . Finally made it back years later and it's definitely no longer skateable. The rest of the park was nice. Other then a man that was very rude . He let his dog run free and didn't seem to care that it was jumping at my girlfriend. So be on the look out for a oddly dressed man . Other then that it was nice .

I liked the park. Low rating due to so few benches and tables throughout park grounds. Bring your own chairs if you want to have a gathering in the shade. Only multiple tables and bench seating are in the sun near South street entrance. Plenty of parking, but no cars past parking area. So wherever you chose to spent time, be prepared to walk a ways with chairs, or haul in blankets. Tables can seat four adults comfortably, or 2 adults and 4 kids. The group tables maybe longer. I didn't travel in that direction.

It's a nicely shaded park. Depending on the day there might be a lot of dogs off leash. As a dog walker it's a bit of a bummer because it puts the pups and me in a bad spot. I've had 3 attacks in 2 months so I kind of wish the police would ticket a few of them..I walk around the park if there are too many free but want can you do besides that. Right?!
