It's amazing that this is in town yet it's like another world as you walk through and find all the beautiful trails in the back overlooking an amazing view of hillsides. They have everything in this park as well. Soccer fields, volleyball, playgrounds, tennis and more. Even a dog park. Its an amazing place to take a walk. So many different scenery.

Wonderful park! Stopped in for a quick Visit while driving through Sebastopol. The park has a soccer field, tennis courts, playground, and a large off leash for area. The dog area has water available for pups and a few benches to sit in. The dog area also has a couple agility items. There are designated small dog hours but we stopped in around noon since my dog is comfortable playing with larger dogs. Be prepared to pay $7.00 if you drive.

Nice place to take a walk if you don't have a lot of time. The Blackberry trail makes a mile loop around the park. This park is an excellent place for a picnic, playing volleyball, soccer, or tennis. It has playgrounds for younger kids. Full of old oaks.

Perfect local park! Great for light hikes with the family, cyclists joggers and dog walkers. Baseball and soccer fields, tennis courts and play structures for the little ones. A favorite for my wife and I. Very scenic and wooded location. A great place to spend a day celebrating, or just an afternoon. Facilities are also clean and well kept. Rentals available for any occasion, picnic tables and bbq's. An overall great park.

This is a great park. There is a parking fee to enter, ($7) although you can park on the street across from the park and walk in for free. There are soccer fields, a baseball diamond, a dog park, a playground, beach volleyball courts, tennis courts, a parkour course, a peace garden, hiking trails and horse trails. Bikes and dogs (on leash) are welcome. Lots of berry bushes in spring, and you feel like you're a million miles away from civilization. I take my 10 year old son here every week, rain or shine.

Plenty of parking and a mix of portable toilets and permanent flush toilets. Always clean and safe.

Cool playgrounds, hiking trails, benches ,tables multiple group areas, soccer field, tennis court I think a dog park, and the list goes on. There are portapotties. Maybe actual bathrooms too, not sure. There are still areas I have not explored yet.

This is a fairly large park with lots of amenities for everyone: tennis courts, volleyball sand pits with nets, picnic areas with huge beautiful trees. Half the park is developed while the back half is what I would consider wild natural habitat that some might not find all that inviting due to the marsh/wet ground and blackberry thickets.

Local regional park with baseball, volleyball, par course, four tennis courts (no pickleball allowed), soccer fields, kids play structure, dog park and hiking trails. We came birding here recently and saw a hawk and woodpecker perched up in a tree. They also had sheep and goat grazing in a temporary fenced-off area to keep the dry grass down. I love this eco-friendly method of managing vegetation. There were about a dozen dogs happily playing in the dog park when I was there. It was fun to watch how they interact with each other. There were a few growls but responsible dog parents were there to quickly call their dogs back. There are several picnic tables sprinkled throughout the park. You can reserve areas for special events. I have attended a wedding and a friend hosted a retirement party here. The Gravenstein Apple Fair has been held at this location for many decades as well. There are a few parking lots to choose from. You can park inside the park for free if you are a Sonoma County Regional Park member. Annual pass is currently $69. Seniors get a discounted rate.

I love coming to this park. Large grassy areas two huge soccer fields, dog park, and trails to walk in the back of the park, volleyball pits, tennis. All tucked away in a neighborhood. I drive out from Yuba City just to visit this park. Tons of space. For a variety of activities l.

Love this place for a walk or a gathering! It has easy trails, fields, play structures, picnic spots, tennis courts, and even a dog park. I go here more often than not with a friend for a nice stroll through the trails. I suggest wearing boots or sturdy shoes, especially after a rain, because some of the trails are mushy with mud. Otherwise, it's a nice park to seek nature and conversation.

This park has tennis courts, soccer fields, playgrounds, picnic areas, dog park area, and trails. We made use of the trails - specifically the BlackberryTrail. This trail was about 1.5 miles in length with a somewhat bumpy surface because of horse usage, but it had a plethora of wild life to see! The trail is used by joggers and walkers mainly! Great walk! A sign said that mountain lions had been spotted in the park recently - we saw none!

Great county park. Both a paved trail AND a long nature dirt trail, dog park with a small dog hour each day, new playground, sports fields, tennis and volleyball courts, plenty of grass and picknicing, and great staff. The For those living in Sonoma County, a county park pass is great. I'm a senior and it pays for itself in 3 1/2 visits. I also have visited 2 to 3 county parks in one day. Joe Rodota Trail is paved and isn't what one would consider a nature trail.

Four well-maintained tennis courts, one with backboard, that are usually available except early morning (lots of seniors playing doubles) and late afternoon. Rich Cardiff, the pro who maintains the courts, offers excellent lessons for players of every age and ability. Parents should be prepared to answer kids' queries about the pungent herbal odor that often emanates from the adjacent volleyball court. The $6 parking fee is standard at all Sonoma county parks; someone's got to pay to keep them open in this tight economy. For regular users, the year-long pass makes parking fees reasonable. Aalking trails are best in summer and fall; many areas are marshy in winter and spring.

The bf's office party was held here-- I was amazed at the size when we drove in. You'll notice the softball field from the entry road, but what isn't as evident is the well-planned layout. There are tennis courts, kiddie playgrounds, a dog run, a gazebo, and numerous picnic areas. Despite this, the trees shield the areas from each other, so you don't have to picnic right next to another large party. Definitely a plus when the water balloons start flying. While the park was somewhat dry and dusty, they get +1 star for easy ($5) parking, and the grill space is enormous-- 6-8x3 ft. That's a lot of yummy BBQ.

Excellent area for family and dog owners. Big park. $7 entrance fee to park in designated parking. We wanted to park along the street, but we kept seeing signs for 24 minute parking. This park is beautiful. Lots of redwoods!!!It was our first time going here to walk around with Ozzy, our dog. There's wide paved and unpaved trails. Lots of benches to sit along the way wherever you decide to go. I also found a couple dog bag stations! A lot of people come here with their dogs :) There's a neat little picnic and playground area to let your kids run loose. I was kinda happy to see a man made rock boulder in that area too! I can imagine it being crowded here during the summer. There's so much you could do here -- volleyball, tennis, baseball, and race your miniature boats in this small pond. The exercise stations were comical because I think it's from the 70's :P Also, there are port o potties along the way on paved trails.I'm a fan of this park.

This regional park has a little bit of everything to offer. Trails to stroll through, dog park, soccer field, baseball field, volleyball, tennis court, play grounds, group picnic, Apple Fairs, redwood groves. Did I leave anything out ?Yes, it costs $7 to park....ALL SONOMA COUNTY REGIONAL PARKS cost $7 to park. That is what helps our local parks stay maintained. Funny how people will drop $7 at Starbucks for their Venti, quadruple, 6 pump, no whip Fru-Fru drinks but have an issue when it comes to our beautiful parks? Do yourself a favor and just buy the yearly park pass. It will pay for itself over and over again. Yes, the dog park has drama from the west county hipsters. But what dog park doesnt have drama???? There is a little dog hour for one hour every day. I read some reviews about complaints about Ghiardia and Kennel Cough. That can be picked up anywhere at an park (dog park or not). The Gravenstien Apple Fair is an all time favorite that happens once a year usually the second weekend in August. There is literally Apple everything imaginable !!!! We go every single year. The trails are flat and go back into the park. Areas are shaded and some areas not as shaded. You should always wear sun screen, bring water, a hat and pack accordingly. Since the trails are flat, it's perfect for the novice hiker wanting to take a casual and quiet stroll. There is also paved trails easy for wheelchairs or strollers.

This review is mostly for the dog park. We went in the morning and had a great time. There were only two other dogs at the park when we arrived and they were friendly and playful. There are a lot of great things about the dog park itself that will make us return visitors. 1. It's clean! Bark covers the entire area which is great for year around fun. 2. Plenty of shade3. No poop! Finally a park with scoopers and a garbage can away from the entrance (stinky) 4. Tubs filled with water (hose nearby to refill) for your pup to cool off5. Water station on concrete (no mud puddle)6. Blind entrance and exit gate (no dogs in the way when going in and out)7. Benches and picnic tables to hangout and watch the pooches8. Tennis balls, large kongs, and other safe toys (no ratty stuffies for pooches to choke on)We will be back as the puppy had a great play with room to run and a safe, clean environment to explore and even play in the water. Best of all... no poop! I know, I said that already :) but if you frequent dog parks, you know. After a romp in the dog park we took a walk on mostly paved, but some unpaved trails to check out the grounds. This park is great, every community could benefit from a spot liKe this. Check out our pics for some of the views. It truly is lovely, with something for everyone. Get a park pass so you don't have to pay each time you visit, and enjoy other parks in the county!
