It's nice you can do a lot of different activities here. We shot the basketball, kicked a soccer ball and then played pickleball. The only negative is the electric bikes on the sidewalks and basketball court. It was a bit scary at times for us old folks.
Scott Abajian: ★★★★★
A nice park with what looks to be a new skatepark facility. There is one pickleball court, not usually too busy.
Aaron Sheinbein: ★★★★★
Enjoyed playing pickleball here

Great environment fun family and skate park

This is such a great community park. It has everything you'd want for a toddler and up. They also have a smaller section for 1 - to - 2 year olds, which is great for moms and nannies to take their kids to. I love that it doesn't have sand. It has recycled tires as the flooring and a well thought out park design. It has a huge grass area next to the park and a great skatepark nestled next to that. I highly recommend this park for any kids that need to get out and get the wiggles/stagnant energy out. Restrooms: No restrooms, which is a bummer. Dog-friendliness: Not sure. Picnic area: Yes
Jessica Lacerda: ★★★★★
Such a dreamy park, clean, no homeless, kids loved and bounced around every activity
Andrew Foster: ★★★★★
Small skatepark with mellow transition and good flow.
Dean Ferraro: ★★★★★
Nice skatepark. Went late afternoon. No lights. Fun quick lines. Felt a little crowded with only about 10 skaters, so kind of small. Parking is easy. It has a mini Linda Vista feel to it. Playground: yes. Restrooms: yes, not sure when they close though. Picnic area: yes
David Rogers: ★★★★★
One of the best parks in San Diego county!
Vanessa Munoz Mena: ★★★★★
Nice clean little park. Has about 6 wooden picnic tables. A boys and girls club within the park location. It has a small play structure on one end of the park and the skate park in the opposite end. In the center is a green field patch to play some soccer or any other sport. There is also 1 basketball court near the skate park.

I wasn’t very impressed with the playground at La Colonia Park, but my son was mesmerized while watching the skate borders do tricks at the skate park. In 1887, the first home was built in the community and it now stands on the premises of this park as a part of the Solana Beach heritage museum. It’s only open 2 days a month so be sure to do some research if you want a tour. 📍712 Stevens Ave, Solana Beach, CA 92075 🚙Free parking in lot off Valley Ave or free parallel street parking on Stevens Ave 💰This park is free 🎠The play structure has a sand/mulch ground surface. There are no swings at the playground 🚽Restrooms 🧺Multiple picnic tables 🍔Charcoal grills 🖼Large lawn 🪑Cement amphitheater-style seating by the lawn 🌳Shady trees 🚲Paved sidewalk around the perimeter of the lawn that would be perfect for small bikes, scooters, or a stroller jog 🛹Skate park 🏀One basketball court

Nice little park with a lit of activities including skate park, basketball court, big green field. Youth Triathlon Team of San Diego has regular practice here before pool practice nearby.

Great new skate park, big soccer field and new basketball court.

Amazing little park. We took 5 girls to train here but were shooed out by someone at the boys and girls club though no one was using the park. Weird. Playground: Good playground. Small. Picnic area: 1-2 tables. But dirty but not terrible.
Jude LeVieux: ★★★
Pretty good skate park for beginners yet is really small but it is very unique. The park on the other hand is not the best because of the playground not being the best and the field
Ck Butler: ★★★
You have to turn on Genevieve. The directions lead you to a place where there is no entrance
Reda Wilds: ★★★
Large grassy area , with walking path, small skatepark and playground
Rad N Dad: ★★★
Needs to be updated. Too many soccer games going on too often
Negative Reviews:eduardo mendoza: ★
Gentrification has hit solana beach like no other place. Lost all its culture and history just to be given away to the more privileged. Rent and the cost of the area has sky rocketed so its not affordable no more.
Paul McKenzie: ★★
Small park on a busy road
