Best Pickleball courts in Spring Valley, San Diego County for 2026

The HUB Pickleball Club in Spring Valley, CA

26 pickleball courts in The HUB Pickleball Club in Spring Valley, California. New and well maintained courts. Beautiful, modern new facility with Pro Shop and Cafe in Spring Valley.

Club offers private parties, adult lessons and kid sessions, ladder leagues, round robins and tournaments. It is best to show up in the morning or in the after work hours for pick-up games.

There is hardly any wait to play. You can find all levels of pick-up games on demand. They have tons of courts all labeled by level, so you can easily get into a game with people of similar levels.

Fee for non-member is $20, but they sometimes charge only $10 for 2 hours, if there’s a discount.

The dedicated courts are well done with LED lights for night play, clear lines, and a nice outer boundary that blocks strong winds with spectator seats and generous amounts of folding chairs and comfortable Adirondacks. A decent amount of shade. They frequently have clinics, ladders, leagues, round robins, tournaments, and events. Check their social media for possible ladder leagues. There’s also a cafe/restaurant on site with beer/wine! Open play is every day and usually starts to get good in the afternoons.

Drop-in challenge courts for 3.0 and 3.5-4.0 are pretty fun on Tuesday/Thursday nights. Non-member is $20 day pass per person, to reserve a court is another $20. Happy hour price $10 per person after 2 pm vs $20 before 2 pm.

The pickleball community is welcoming and social. I’ve always been able to find a game to jump into though it’d be great if more players came so we could fill more of the courts. Also, kudos to their awesome shop and big selection of premium demo paddles. You can try out paddles for five dollars and the day pass is $20.

The bathrooms are spotless. Parking is available right out front, and it’s completely free for all customers going to The Hub. Be warned that parking is hard to find outside of the lot, and it’s a tight lot.

Not exactly a die-hard pickleball fanatic but I do pop in once in a while to show some love on the courts with a good friend of mine. That friend, is pickleball's biggest and loyal fan. The HUB in (San Diego) had lots of available out door courts and seating areas. Available parking spaces too. The club was clean, organize, and music was even playing over the PA system. The weather was perfect. Not too hot and not too cold for mid January, on a Sunday afternoon. Friendly and helpful staff at the storefront. The store looked clean and organized. Happy hour price $10 per person after 2pm vs $20 before 2pm My first time at The Hub and it won't be my last 👍🏼

My wife and I have been playing pickleball for about seven months and started here at the Hub. Jimmy, Avery, and Dennis are some of the coaches who have been instrumental in teaching us skills we need to excel and compete in this sport. Noah, Matthew, and many of the other Pro-shop staff has been very helpful and welcoming as well. The Hub facility has 26 courts, each with great lighting in the evenings. There is a large fire pit that located right outside the proshop and iis a great place to hang out after playing hard. We highly recommend this facility.
Toby Howard: ★★★★★
Great place to play with all the social ladders and drop in courts! Lots of great players of all levels and bar restaurant helps the atmosphere!! Member for life!
Kenny Hoang: ★★★★★
Hosted my 30th birthday at The Hub this past Saturday and had an incredible time! Clean facility, great courts and staff. They have a nice turf area in the middle for kids to play various games. We booked our event through Tammy who was very responsive and made the process very easy. Tammy meets you at the start of your event and does an incredible job coordinating the event! Will definitely book here again and recommend others!

I’m leaving this special review not only for The Hub – San Diego, but also for Tammy. I make all my reservations through her, and she is always friendly, proactive, professional, kind, and versatile. All of our events at The Hub so far have been excellent. If you’re considering a membership to play pickleball, this is 100% the place to be.
Dylan Petersen: ★★★★★
The Hub is the place to become a member if you’re into pickleball. From the clinics with Austin, the great service by Bernice running the DUPR leagues and ladders, having open play available all day, and the support from the members of the front desk, it’s the place to be.
Taylor Phillips: ★★★★★
What an amazing experience! I had my birthday party at The Hub with a large group of friends and family and Tammy made the event incredibly special. Birthday signs, a birthday hat, birthday music and just all around a great host! We also added a facilitator to help get things going, Bernice was so kind and attentive explaining rules to those who hadn’t played before and setting up a round robin tournament. The courts are incredibly well kept, spacious, and a great facility. My group left so happy with everyone asking when we could play again. I would highly recommend playing pickleball at The Hub, we know we will!
James Lopez: ★★★★★
I took the beginners Basic classes with Jimmy who is a great coach. I also took the Ladders for beginners based on Jimmy’s recommendation which was a great way to put what was learned in the Basics classes into games. Highly recommend the HUB and Jimmy for those wanting to learn pickleball.
Evan Brockwell: ★★★★★
Very friendly staff and the gentleman that helped me pick out a paddle was incredibly knowledgeable. He answered all my questions with genuine enthusiasm and made me want to give them their business. Wish I remembered his name, but he said he lost to the local pro using the gigantic paddle in the back corner when you come in, so whoever that guy is, hats off to him.

Drop-in challenge courts for 3.0 and 3.5-4.0 are pretty fun on Tuesday/Thursday nights. Non-member is $20 but I played when they had the discount for $10. Overall, the pickleball courts are really nice. I was hoping to try the DUPR session but was not successful for the last two tries due to lack of players.
Nathan Helo: ★★★★★
The HUB is always an awesome and fun time. I really loved the environment and definitely recommend the place for players of all skill levels. One person that stood out was Noah; he was very helpful explaining the game and showing me the ropes. I highly recommend directing any questions you may have to him. Can’t wait to go back!!!
Mayson Kelly: ★★★★★
I came to The Hub from out of state and had the best experience. I ended up getting a membership because I found myself going way more than I expected—and it was the best decision. The staff were all super friendly, fun, and welcoming. My favorite part was the open play. I could always find a game, no waiting around, no matter the time of day. The level of competition was awesome, with a great mix of skill levels and well-ranked courts that always felt right. And at night, the courts stay lit until closing, which made for some really fun evening matches. Plus the facility is so amazing! Highly recommend
Stephen Searles: ★★★★★
The Hub is amazing, but the real stars are the staff. They’re incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and make every visit feel special. On top of that, they do a fantastic job running organized events (like ladders, leagues, and competitive round robins) that are fun, smooth, and well-structured. Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, they go out of their way to ensure you have a great experience. Best pickleball spot in San Diego, hands down!
Hannah C: ★★★★
Beautiful facility, great for playing and spectating alike with a generous amount of folding chairs and comfortable Adirondacks. A decent amount of shade as well as a fireplace table! I’d say the only note of caution is that parking is insanely hard to find outside of the lot, and it’s a tight lot.

Had the itch to hit.... my friend Tina recommended this place and it was fire. The lady that helped me was one of the best human beings ever, I feel bad that I can't recall her name 😞 facility was great, people friendly. Thank you. …

Was looking for a place to play pickleball this past weekend and everything was full. Somehow we ended up here and the truth I am so glad we did! The place is spacious with many available courts to play. 10$ a player for two hours. The bathrooms were SPOTLESS! I thought twice about posting this review just because I’m scared of this Gem being discovered by too many but then again I want them to stay in business, so I support my local pickleball hub!!

Great facility and friendly people!!! We came for Idaho for a quick weekend. Got in some grrat games!! Thank you for a great time!!!
Ahmed Murad: ★★★★★
I rarely post reviews, however this place earned my respect. I was visiting San Diego and wanted to play some pickle. I ended playing at the HUB every morning in either ladder or just simple drop in games. I rarely had to wait as there were enough courts to accommodate everyone. The facilities are great, courts are clean ( little dust ), the staff was very friendly and flexible when I needed to change a group lesson reservation. And the locals, most of them regular players, were very chill and friendly. Everyone was rotating and got to play with quite a a few of them. It was a great experience, if anyone wants to play pickleball with friendly folks, this is a great club to check out. As a reference, I play in several places in the San Francisco Bay area, like Lafayette Ice Rink, Alameda Hub, Walnut Creek Rudgear Park, Willow Pass, etc.
Sean Frankenbach: ★★★★★
A fun space with friendly players in the open play areas. It is best to show up in the morning or in the after work hours for pick-up games. Check their social media for possible ladder leagues. This is a great place to play whether you live in the area or you are visiting for just a short time.
Andrew Avila: ★★★★★
I like this place. The Hub is very fun. I get to play with all of my friends. The BEST part of The Hub is the awesome event coordinators and staff. Everything is so organized and clean. I have always liked pickleball, but thanks to The Hub I LOVE pickleball.
kevin bacon: ★★★★
FINALLY!! San Diego has a premium facility for Pickleball. It offers ALL features you expect from a Club setting. Fees are reasonable and a fair value. 26 yes 26 courts all shiny and new. After a couple of days of settling in things look to be moving on well. Good parking, clubhouse , the Grill is not ready yet but soon. Only real "boo-boo" is No Showers?? All this work and didn't add Showers or a "rinse off" ?? It would have been a great idea. No matter, come play and enjoy!
Christopher Bae: ★★★★★
I have been the Hub many times to not only play but attend birthday events, leagues, and take lessons. What truly sets Smash Court apart, though, is its amazing staff. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that they genuinely care about the sport and the people who play it. Tammy in particular, their event supervisor has been awesome to interact with. The front desk has some outstanding personalities as well.
Ross Boss: ★★★★★
I had an absolute blast playing pickle ball for the first time! Beautiful and brand new facility with a bunch of courts, snack shop/pro shop, and some nicely shades areas
Riad Mardoum: ★★★★★
I played tennis in the past. I came to the intro class to play pickleball to the first time. My coach, Dennis was really very nice and excellent teacher. Bernice, at the front desk was very welcoming, and helpful. Both did a great job. I will come back in a heart beat.
Kal McMahand: ★★★★★
I recently took a pickleball class(or clinic) called The Elevate with Averee, and it was such a fun and inspiring experience. My mom, who’s worked with her before, invited me to join—and while I had never played pickleball or even knew a thing about it, I came along just for the vibes. I ended up learning so much, and it was all thanks to Averee’s incredible teaching. She was so thorough and really helped me understand the drills step by step. Despite being a total beginner, I never once felt out of place. Averee was kind, patient, and super encouraging. Every time I made a mistake, she’d reassure me that I’d get it next time, and whenever I did something right, she made sure to cheer me on. Her support made all the difference and kept me motivated throughout the class. The Hub itself is definitely busy with a lot of energy, but it didn’t feel overwhelming at all—even as someone brand new to the sport. I left the class feeling excited, confident, and genuinely wanting to learn more. I’m definitely planning to come back for another session and keep growing my skills! Highly recommend for anyone wanting to elevate their game—or just get started like I did!

Pickleball HUB! This is the place to go to find all levels of pick-up games on demand, in addition, ladders, round robins and tournaments. The staff are always friendly and inviting. Bernice, Nico, Matthew, Clay, Allison, and Austin the PRO are all pickletastic people. I have been coming since it was opened and they just keep getting better.
Kristina Bolt: ★★★★★
Everyone was really nice. This was our first time going to a paid facility and the courts are in good condition. They have lights and they have many courts. They also offer lessons. There is a great system so everyone can get into play. And all the players were really friendly, especially for us being new and people wanting to play with us still. You can try out paddles for five dollars and the day pass is $20 and you can go there in and out all day if you’d like.

Food was amazing!! I don’t eat meat and the chef made me a bomb veggie burger.. She even scraped the grill for me.. I will highly recommend..

This is the only show in town. When you can play non-stop, it’s so much better than ten paddles lined up and sitting! You are gonna get better, you are gonna make tons of friends and elevate your friend!

Had a great Experience with the clinic that Rob Cassidy and Jerry Jaffee hosted at Thehub! Very professional and gave the best advice for everyone even though we were all playing at different levels. Their ability to recognize what I needed to focus on and work on to improve was awesome. Both very accomplished, but made you feel welcome and gave you the attention when needed. What a very positive experience.

I love playing at The Hub! I started in August 2025 taking beginner classes with Damien. He was great. I hired him to teach some of my adult children. When he moved away, Jimmy took over the beginner training. We love Jimmy. He has a following. He’s full of personality. Jimmy has really helped me improve my game. I’ve learned so much in his guided ladders. 🪜 If you’re a beginner, I recommend you play guided ladders. The personal instruction is great. We took “elevate with Averee.” She was AMAZING! After taking her class I had some new techniques to help me become a better player. I love to watch Averee play. She’s a powerhouse! I see Noah and Matthew a lot in the pro shop when we come for open play. They always make us feel welcome. Matthew is my go-to DJ on Tuesday nights with his 70’s playlist. The ladies in open play love to play and dance to his tunes! Bernice played with us to fill a spot in one of Jimmy’s ladder. Her advice was very helpful. She was friendly and fun to play with. I play at the Hub about 3 times a week. I’m really loving pickleball and I enjoy being able to always have a big selection of choices on the Hub calendar.

My husband and I are pretty new to pickleball, and The Hub has been such a great place to start. A friend brought us for the first time and we were honestly a little nervous walking in, but we ended up having so much fun.The courts are always clean and well kept, which makes a big difference when you're still learning and just trying not to trip over your own feet. I also really like that you can reserve your time. No awkward hovering, no pressure, just show up and play.We noticed they offer coaching too, which we're really excited about. Definitely planning to sign up for some classes and level up our game.If you're new to the sport or just looking for solid courts with a great setup, this is a great spot.

THE HUB @ PICKLEBALL Parking is available right out front, and it's completely free for all customers going to The Hub.My friends and I came to this Pickleball Hub because it was free for all SDSU students, so I was really excited to check it out. Walking in, you can immediately tell the place was recently renovated it looks super modern with white and blue tiles and marble-like finishes. It's honestly beautiful, and I loved the clean, fresh vibe. The staff was extremely friendly, and right at the entrance there were pickleball sets you could purchase, along with snacks, granola bars, and other small things. Checking in was super easy. When we headed outside, there were multiple courts and a good amount of people playing. We played from about 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM, even though the courts were available until 4:30 PM, and it was seriously such a fun time. You do have to bring your own racket unless you rent one, but luckily we brought ours, so it was no problem. The bathrooms were also really nice, which I appreciated. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and would definitely come back for free again. It's fun, super student-friendly, and full of SDSU students just having a good time.

Came here for the first time on a Saturday around 10am and got the $20 day pass per person. The courts were not full which was nice so we did not need to reserve a court (which is another $20). Also, if you do not have a paddle, you can rent one for $10 and they will keep your ID until your return the paddle. Next to the courts, there are canopies and benches to leave your stuff while you play. There's also an area where you can lounge/relax and watch everyone else play. There's also giant jenga, etc. it would be a good place to host something here. There's also a water filter area to refill your water bottle. Restrooms were very clean too. Large parking lot but it can fill up pretty quickly.
James V.: ★★★★★
One of SD's premier pickleball locations! Truly a hub for great gameplay with great people. There is a spacious parking lot that fills up. Located right off the 94 freeway in Spring Valley. Clean and spacious with tons of courts. Day passes are $20, with $10 promotions happening on weekends after 2pm. Memberships start at $110/month plus initiation. I super enjoy playing here.

Visited The Hub for the first time and had such a great experience! Olivia at the front desk was super friendly and helped us navigate buying a day pass, which was a great value at $20 - play all day and come and go as you like.I went with my pickleball pro boyfriend. While he played singles with a friend, I headed to the challenge courts. I love how the courts are labeled by skill level - it made it easy to find the right fit. I played on the 3.0 courts and got a few fun games in with some really welcoming people. It was so fun and got me over my fear of going to Open Play situations (this was my first one!)Even though I've been playing for 5 years, I know I need to challenge myself with better players to keep improving, and The Hub is perfect for that. Bonus that it wasn't busy at all, even on a sunny San Diego day, so I could keep playing for hours without waiting.I didn't try the food this time, but I'm curious for next time. Even though it's a bit of a drive (40 minutes from North County), I'll definitely be back. Worth it!

I came to The HUB for my first time. The HUB is a pickleball court located in the Casa de Oro-Mount Helix, CA.It was such a pleasure conversing with the cashier Celini, thanks for being so sweet and friendly. Also, allowing me to charge my cellphone at the front desk.Although, my shift from a staffing agency was cancelled, Celini was friendly towards me. She was resourceful since she suggested McKenzie Park for another pickleball court.
Emy P.: ★★★★
Went on a Monday night at around 7 and couldn't believe how busy it was. Parking lot was pretty full but managed to snag spaces for our group. We aren't members so we each had to pay $20 each. To reserve a court, it's another $20 but luckily, the guy at the front desk told us if we are able to find an empty court, we could jump right in and would avoid paying the extra $. This place is awesome! The courts are nice and it's got a place to chill by a fireplace, play corn hole and grab a beer at the bar. This has got to be one of the nicer courts I've been to but that's where the $ comes in. There are several courts around San Diego that either cheaper or free but for some, it's worth the extra cost. They offer memberships, lessons, rentals, and pro shop. The Hub also holds events and open play on some nights. We'll definitely check those out and perhaps get a membership one of these days.

Stopped by while visiting SD for the weekend, awesome facility! Everyone was friendly and the establishment was in great shape, hope to play there again one day.
Andy L.: ★★★★★
I've been a member here for 9 months and love it. I've been to pickleball facilities all over so cal, but The Hub has the best courts by far. Here's why:- 26 dedicated pickleball courts (no tennis court lines)- 10 courts available for open play all day everyday with skill levels ranging from beginner to advanced - short waits for open play during peak times... or the ability to quickly book a court with my friends when I need it- proshop has great, high quality equipment and staff is friendly and helpful - great events like ladders, tournaments, leagues, and clinics. Awesome pros to teach - they are doing their best to implement a member rating system to improve quality of games - great member base, friendly, competitive, and inclusive playing environment. While there's a lot of perks on being a member here, there are some improvements that would make the club even better:- bring back the restaurant. Or at least a snack bar that isn't just chips or cookies. We miss it - hold some rated DUPR events like round robins for the more competitive levels. Players that have ratings want to play against other rated players. - the day pass is a little expensive, but worth it if you play for a few hours.
Big Jeff H.: ★★★★★
What a place! Plenty of courts to play on. Doesn't matter if there's 2 of ya either. Very friendly atmosphere. Just like it says in their adds, from beginner to advanced players. There's courts for each. I can hardly wait to go back. But get there early! Before 6pm. Happy paddling!

We went as non members, paid $20 each and got on a court. Then my son, who's a 5.0 and me, whose a 4.0 on a good day were able to find good games.

I would recommend the Hub for primarily people that want to play pickle ball frequently and have the desire and motivation to compete. I took group and individual lessons with Rob. He is phenomenal! I learned a lot had fun and met some great people. But I did not find many like-minded people who just want to have fun and improve and play a couple times a week. After learning pickle ball here, it is not the place to continue for a more mellow and chill atmosphere.. perfect for the die head

Don’t get me wrong, I love that The Hub exists in San Diego. I’m evaluating it against the other options Im willing to drive to in order to play. Here are the reasons I wont join The Hub as it is right now: 1. Lighting / back drop issues: I played at night there recently and had a lot of trouble tracking the ball on either side of the facility. It’s either the lighting isn’t strong enough, or I kept losing the ball in the large wind blocker backdrops that are light-blue and white. I think there is a reason most facilities choose a dark blue/black wind guard fabric. 2. Bad vibes / rude members: the few times I’ve gone for open play - I encountered players with poor attitudes. If that is the member base, and who I would play against consistently, I’m not interested. Other people I have met have said the same thing and listed it as a reason they cancelled their membership. Could they address this? I’m not sure, but kicking out rude members could bring in more people with the right attitude? Hard to say 3. I can just book courts around San Diego for around the same price. Splitting the cost with my group and play half the days in a month for the cost of the Hub. Open plays at other facilities also have better “vibe” players. Are you going to find 4.5+ games consistently at other facilities? No - so that is where the Hub has an advantage Reasons I like it: 1. Great court construction. They put the time in to keep these courts playing great even after 3 years. No noticeable lumps/bumps. No major cracks that disturb play - and thats impressive considering the temperature changes in East County SD. 2. Parking has never been an issue, then again, it’s not busy when I’ve gone on a week night or weekend afternoon. 3. $10 entry for non members after 2pm on weekend days. Great for winter play when the temperatures are excellent in East County!

Been here twice. First time for a tournament and it was good, other than the lack of parking. Kinda rough. The facility itself is pretty nice. Not a fan of the location but we'll take courts where we can get them right? The second time I came was recently and that was not such a good experience. The staff was not friendly or helpful. I'd go back but only for tournaments as the regular operations did not feel welcoming.

Im leaving a sad review because I love the people here. The only reason why me and my friends have decided to leave is solely based on lights. Some courts lights make it very hard to play to many shadows, very dark, to the point if we see an open court with better lighting we will move. I’ve also heard upper players 4.0-5.0s and up complain about lighting that they have to switch courts. Not just upper players even all levels of pickleball. Me and 6 others decided to cancel our membership not sure who else will cancel from our group or stop going since they bought day passes. I’ve accumulated about 50 people mainly for pickleball In a what’s app group and sometimes we have anywhere from 4-20 people showing up at one spot. I didn’t force anyone to cancel there membership but those in that group felt the same and agreed. If you decide to go there are great people Like Greg look for him! He has an awesome group of people who will play with all levels. Jimmy and Mervin great guys as well will also play with all levels. Jimmy is such a good coach for beginners so find him. Bernice, Noah, and Mathew as well are staff there and they will play with whom ever are are super open and friendly to play as well. I only kept my member ship 2 months longer out of 5 months being there because of Greg and his group, so find him. These people are great people I just can’t justify the lack of lighting for the membership fee. If you lose these people you will lose a community. Solution is if the Hub gets new lights. It will make it going from barable play to “Let’s go to the hub they have the best lighting” and pay the membership fee. Community courts and courts in Tijuana shouldn’t have better lighting than the hub which are facts and free. The hub needs new lights aka a make over. I never met the owner but if they decided to do a community poll on there whats app group I’m sure everyone will vote new lights. One new upgrade won’t hurt that can last years of positive feedback, build the community back up, and make something positive to talk about moving forward. I want the hub to be the place every San Diegan goes and talks about because they are willing to fix things and upgrade their courts. If the Hub decides to just put new lights I will come back and I’m sure my friends as well. Until then I hope nothing but the best. It’s time for a Hub upgrade. Who am I, well I was in the Jr. Olympic team for Baja California for Wrestling, I was a world finalist for a video game in 2017, I am in San Diego’s hall of champions and lastly worked with famous people doing security like Mike Tyson, Stan Lee, Chris Hemsworth, Gal Gadot,Mark Ruffalo, and many people from the Avengers from the movie. I only say this So my statement can carry some weight and not someone who is a hater or a random. This is why I’m giving 3 stars should I ever come back to new lighting I will come back to this and change my review. “What ever is hidden in the dark eventually comes to light”

I wanted to love this place. the courts and facilities are nice. being a legitimate 4.5 player, medaling many times at this level, I was hoping to get in some good play in during open play in designated 4.5 courts. the players on those courts were teetering on rude. it was not an inviting environment - the players were exclusive and just kept circulating amongst themselves. I would not recommend this facility to out of town guests. There are many other courts in the San Diego area that welcome higher level play outside of their small bubble.

Beautiful courts and well-maintained. However, I find the people there cliquish and sometimes rude. Many times I was in line for open play and was ignored. If you just want to have fun, The Hub is not for you. It's very competitive and people let you know when they don't want to play with you. I like playing where people are friendly.

My wife and I were playing pickleball at The Hub tonight, and we ended up being the last ones to leave. Because our car was parked inside, the person who locked up apparently didn’t see us and locked both us and our car inside the parking lot. I later contacted a friend and also called the police. My friend managed to reach the person in charge, who said the owner was sleeping inside and told us to knock on the door to get his attention. When the owner finally woke up, he had a very bad attitude and questioned where we came from. Shortly after, the police arrived, and only then did the owner finally open the gate and let us out. It was a really terrible experience.

I saw that they were offering an intro class so I signed up. They called me right away to schedule. I showed up and was not in the system so they rescheduled me for the following week. They sent me a cancellation. I called and was told the manager would call me back to get me into a class. Never received a call. I guess they don't want any new pickleball players or need any new business. I will learn to play somewhere else. Looks like they treat new players badly anyway as I read through the reviews.

I have been a member since it opened. They treat their members very poorly. They close courts to members when for no reason when the facility is full leaving members not able to play. The courts were completely dry on Monday evening. The fact that the Center court was initially closed because of this "dampness" issue but was reopened when influential 5.0 players complained to the ownership negates this policy of "personal safety of the members is their primary concern". Now The Hub has instituted a new exclusionary policy where only players with a 5.0 DUPR are allowed to play on center court. I am a solid 4.5 player that enjoyed playing and mixing it up with 5.0 players once in awhile and established friendships with many of these players. Now the club has made these 5.0 players their own clique by giving them their own court and not allowing any other players to play with them. As a Board Member of the San Diego Parks and Recreation Board for the last six years, and being members of many tennis and country clubs over the years, I've never seen such a policy at an institution that inhibits comradery amongst sports participants and club members.

Terrible place of business. Rude and unprofessional workers. Not friendly to novice and beginners for pickleball. No community engagement. Overpriced. Save your time and money and go to a public park.
Sara Brandt: ★
Went there and left with disappointment. Workers are rude and uneducated. I’m a new player and asked to play and got zero support and help. I feel bad for anyone that gets scammed paying to play there.

Place is bad for the pickleball community. I’m new and live on Mt Helix. The workers are rude and uneducated on pickleball. Zero help. Zero stars.

Place is bad for business. I am new to pickleball and don’t appreciate the way their workers treated me.

Very disappointing experience playing tournament at HUB San Diego. After paying a high fee and traveling from out of town to play here, extremely loud music blared from loud speakers right on the courts. Could not hear score calling let alone focus. Even asked HUB to at least turn it down but they did nothing.
