
6 new covered tennis courts with lights, 4 pickleball courts with portable nets in Arrillaga Tennis Center. New and well maintained set of courts! Courts belong to Stanford university. Book at least 3-4 days in advance if you hope to find a court after 4 pm. There’s a water fountain nearby and sitting for spectators. Lights are off at 9 pm sharp. The Taube Pavilion includes new, covered courts that hosted their first matches in February 2025. The new covered Arrillaga Tennis Center Taube Pavilion is located at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California. It serves as a premier venue for Stanford tennis, with the first stage of the new facility featuring covered, high-performance acrylic courts.

Lockers
Lockers are available to rent from the front desk.
- Quarterly: $20/quarter
- Annually: $60/year
Tennis Court Policies
Court Usage Priority team events/practices, physical education classes, and special events have priority over all other use.
Important: The use of the courts is reserved strictly for Stanford community members who are active affiliates of Stanford University with an active recreation membership.
- All activity on courts must be Tennis or Pickleball related.
- Private lessons are prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Department of Athletics!
- All players must wear non-marking tennis shoes.
- A member must accompany all guest(s) on the court.
- All tennis-playing members and their guest(s) should present their reservation confirmation if asked by Stanford employees.
- You can only reserve a court up to 7 days ahead.
- You may not reserve a court for anyone but yourself. If members do not show up for their reservation after 10 minutes, the court becomes first come, first serve.
- Members will lose their court if not properly reserved for it.
- Courts can be reserved seven days in advance.
- Members can make one reservation per day. Any member abusing this policy can and will have their tennis membership suspended.
- Stanford rec classes, events, Intramurals, athletic events, & club activities have priority over the courts. For additional information, you can refer to the “Recreation Facility Priority Usage” to review the priority list.
- Membership Services Coordinator Chris Jones must approve any activity other than Tennis and Pickleball related. Email recwellscheduler@stanford.edu.
Note: Only Stanford Tennis and Pickleball Instructors are allowed to teach lessons at the club.
