Negative reviews of staff and management in recent years. Their office has a great selection of tennis gear and court shoes. The courts are always busy. The merchandise store is reasonable and re-stringing is free if you buy string from there. There’s also a cute coffee shop and a sunroom facing the courts, however it’s not open late. Las Palmas Park is a gem in Sunnyvale, featuring a secluded dog area, numerous tennis courts, and expansive grassy fields perfect for soccer, volleyball, among other sports. The park's distinctive palm trees and plentiful picnic tables add to its charm, making it ideal for gatherings. Though the parking lot is small, there's plenty of street parking available. You can park right at the entrance and find restrooms there. On busier days parking might be tough. There is no water in the fountain this year.

I had the most delightful experience interacting with the Sunnyvale life time activities management/ front desk team. Throughout my conversations, they were polite and friendly, got through my requests diligently and made it super convenient. The pickleball coaches are amazing too. Highly recommend leveraging their services. And cherry on top, their office/ store smells amazing!

My experience was great until I needed a refund. I accidentally enrolled in a class that had already started a month before my enrollment. I requested a refund on 9/22, but as of now, nearly two months later, I still haven’t received it. Today is 11/19. I’ve called multiple times, and each time I’m told the check is on its way—but it never arrives. Today, they didn’t even answer my call, likely because they recognize my number after so many attempts. It’s frustrating and disappointing. Surely, you understand that a refund is due for a class I never attended, right? I don't want to throw my $334 away. If I could give zero stars, I definitely would. Update: I called using a different phone number, and they answered this time. They informed me that the check might be at my leasing office. Interesting—you could have answered my call earlier, right? Anyways, I finally got the check. Finally got the refund in 2 months.

We booked 3 courts for a pickleball event, as we were a group of around 20 people traveling from various parts of the Bay Area. Despite booking 3 courts and calling twice to confirm, we were informed upon arrival that only 2 courts were reserved for us. The team at the front desk was unhelpful and seemed more focused on figuring out who made the mistake rather than solving the issue. One staff member did make an effort to assist us, but she didn’t seem to be the manager. Overall, the lack of professionalism and problem-solving from the team was disappointing. This situation could have been handled much better, especially given the size of our group and the effort we put into planning. We won’t be returning and would recommend that this venue invest in training their staff to handle issues like this more effectively.

As a member, I would be extremely careful when registering for any lessons in Sunnyvale Tennis Center under Lifetime activities. Been a member for the past 5 years or so. However recently i feel the management staff (Anisha and crew) in the office for registration, withdrawals etc have been difficult to engage with. I have personally followed up via emails and in person at the office for the lessons & withdrawals and there response time has been mostly zero. If you see all the Google reviews it says exactly the same thing. They dodge refunding the funds at all costs. Coaching on the other hand is a hit or miss - totally depends on the Coach itself. They don't have a set standards amongst coaches either. I will give 5 stars to coach Mark . I have rarely posted any reviews on any businesses before on google. However i am compelled to share with other patrons that i have lost my hard earned money to this management where once you register and request a refund well within their 3 week policy they somehow avoid any contact to refund. Thus members losing their money. Be certain before you make that payment for any lessons at the sunnyvale center.

From the review, I found that some one has exactly the same experiences as I did, from the same manger. Totally do not recommend to use this site. I registered a tennis class. The second day, I asked to cancel the class because I could not go to the class but they refused to give any refund. They did not tell me that it was not refundable when I registered.
