6 free dedicated Pickleball courts which were resurfaced December 2025, and 4 additional courts in back with overlapping tennis lines. Busy 7:30AM - 10PM with an afternoon lull in play. Basketball courts nearby. Family-friendly. Dogs play in the grassy areas. Clean restrooms available. Free parking. Safe neighborhood.

Can't say enough good things about this place, this was our haven during the pandemic. The playground is truly excellent, it has a really advanced set of equipment with multiple types of slides, bridges, swings, and other activities. Some playgrounds our son gets bored of within just a few minutes, but this playground still holds his attention, and we have easily visited this place over 100 times in the last year. The pickleball/tennis courts are great, the basketball court is nice as well. Park staff were always super friendly. We appreciate how nice a park this was. The fact that the lights in the parking lot shine (at least partially) on the playground allowed us to visit during the winter when it was dark, which was huge for us to have some place to go for our son to run around in the evenings. Plus the pickleball courts are lit so we could play in that area in the evening as well. Overall, great park, and probably the best playground equipment in the area.

Ranch Condo Playfields is a very spacious park with a soccer field, basketball court, playground, walking path, bathrooms, professional-looking pickleball courts, softball field with bleachers, and an open grassy field for general activities. I was very impressed by the pickleball courts! Every one of the 8 courts was occupied, and there was a covered waiting area between the two sets of courts where players could wait for an open court. I'm going to buy pickleball gear and join the fun with my wife and friends, who have been playing for a while. Take a look at the accompanying photos.

Awesome pickleball courts. Parking can be tight though and there are no street parking options so the only one is to park at one of the strip malls on the other side of Hillcrest (about 5 min walk). Beautiful park.

Great park, lots of open space, and my personal favorite, Pickleball Courts. If you don't know what Pickleball is, google it. Its a super fun game for a wide range of ages. If you come just for the Pickleball, bring something else to do because you might need to wait for a court to open up. It can get pretty busy...
Maurice Sallave: ★★★★
Mostly come here for the pickleball. It does get crowded after 4pm with the long summer days, so try to get here early or spectate the court challenges. No pickleball before 7am or after 10pm. ☹️

This park is pristine. The pickleball courts are clean, well fenced, with very friendly neighborhood players. We are so lucky to have Rancho Conejo Park in our neighborhood.

My family and I visit many parks throughout the Conejo Valley and the Rancho Conejo Park was one that we somehow had never been to. We didn’t know what to expect, but we’re pleasantly surprised by the spacious, unique, and creative design of the park. The theme was very fun and having the play structures spread out was also very nice because it allowed numerous kids to play in multiple areas without it feeling crowded. My kids especially liked the cool variety of slides and the play animals to ride on and the fun shapes and colors. In addition to the play structures, the park also has a baseball field and many tennis courts, which obviously get a lot of use because there were many people playing while we were there. Overall, we were very happy to have found a new park and we will definitely be visiting again.

Tim Freund: ★★★★★
Terrific park. Located just outside the 24 hour guard gated community of Rancho Conejo Village, the playfield features 2 softball fields, a lighted basketball court, 2 lighted tennis courts and a large jungle gym area with the all important 2 purple dinosaurs so little friends won't fight. The softball fields double as both soccer fields as well as lacrosse, often hosting area tournaments. There are drinking fountains, his and hers bathrooms with changing tables and a trailhead off the parking lot's east end that leads down into "La Barranca." Please be advised that this trail can be treacherous and every few years some knucklehead goes rock diving into the pools below and kills himself after one too many libations. The parking lot has been enlarged so parking is ample with easy entrance and exit off Ventu Park Road. Multicultural, pick up soccer games, often in Spanish, are regular after work events, as are Sunday afternoon Crickett matches and the occasional Tai Chi group on Saturday morning. There are great views of the Thousand Oaks July 4th fireworks display but arrive a before sundown because the though it's not nearly as hectic as parking at the Oaks Mall, it still fills up. There are trees but not an over abundance of shade so you might want to bring your own.

Unwelcoming and Judgmental Community "I visited this court on Father's Day, looking forward to spending quality time with my son and playing pickleball. It's been a tough week for my family, having lost a loved one just a few days prior. I was eager to take my mind off things and create some positive memories with my son. As I started playing, my son initially watched from the sidelines. But then, he was invited to join another game by some friendly players. I was happy to see him having fun, even if it meant he wasn't playing with me. However, my joy was short-lived. A veteran player, who seemed to be a regular at the court, began criticizing me loudly, assuming I had abandoned my son to play pickleball. She made snide comments, questioning my parenting and implying that I was neglecting my son. What she didn't know was that my son had chosen to come with me to the court, and he was having a great time playing with others. Her assumptions and judgmental attitude were not only unwarranted but also hurtful, especially given the difficult week my family has been through. When I politely tried to explain the situation, she continued to argue and belittle me. Her behavior was unacceptable, and it ruined my experience at the court. The toxicity and elitism displayed by this player left a sour taste in my mouth. While the court itself may be good, the unfriendly and judgmental community makes it a place I wouldn't recommend. If you're a newcomer or looking for a supportive environment, beware of this court. The negativity and criticism from some players may make you feel unwelcome, just like it did for me."

I’ve played pickleball, I like pickleball and I appreciate Rancho Conejo Playfields have six dedicated pickleball courts. I just prefer playing tennis. I don’t have a problem with pickleball per ce. I do have a problem when CRPD misleads the tennis community by posting that the tennis courts are going to be painted and then finding out after the fact they conveniently left out the part that read “with pickleball lines.” When presented with a series of questions as to why, CRPD refused to give us direct answers, contradicted themselves and generally just blew us off. Even going so far as to suggest we find somewhere else to play tennis. It doesn’t exactly give me a warm fuzzy feeling about the competency of CRPD’s management. Maybe they should build more pickleball courts and quit making excuses for their ineptness.
