Best Tennis and Pickleball courts in Pacific Grove, Monterey County for 2025

Summary / Description

5 tennis courts, 4 new dedicated pickleball courts. No lights. No shade. The tennis courts are open for everyone and for free use and they are in an OKAY condition. The office is closed for walk ins but available and friendly on the phone.. Courts are cracked, PG public maintenance crew just patched with white sticky stuff, never fix issue but just band-aid. After half-ass patch they never repaint courts but ugly white patches all over courts. Besides that issue, it’s a nice and safe place to play tennis and pickleball.

The Morris Dill pickleball courts in Pacific Grove have been remodeled and resurfaced end of June 2025.

✨ What’s New:
✅The court closest to Fountain Ave is now a dedicated pickleball space with 4 pickleball play areas and soundproof fencing to help reduce noise.
✅The next court over has been restored for tennis, offering a fresh play surface.
These improvements were made possible through funding from the City’s Capital Improvement Plan (CIP).

MORRIS DILL TENNIS COURT RULES

• Limit play to 1 hour if others are waiting
• No pets
• No bicycles, roller blades or skateboards
• Proper footwear required
• No food, drinks or glass objects
• Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult
• Do not abuse net or other equipment
• Surface slippery when wet or dirty
• Use tennis court at own risk
