  3. If you want to play with your foursome, rubber band/tie your four paddles together and when they are all at the front of the line, it is your turn.

It was so much fun and the tennis 🎾 and pickleball court is located closer to Lake Tahoe in Nevada. It is a very green and clean place my kids loved it, and I will come back for playing. There was a 90 years old guy birthday they offer my kids cake and snacks, and we appreciated it.
Wes Sol: ★★★★★
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! 8/30/24 Great place to play!! Everyone is so helpful and nice. And some really good players. Weekend open play is 9-12. Great courts and great group!!
Alene Hashimoto: ★★★★★
Awesome place to play pickleball! Beautiful facility set in the woods. We brought relatives to play and also met other friendly players there. There were shaded benches and water in multiple areas.

With twelve new pickleball courts this facility offers great play for tennis and pickleball players of all levels. Easy parking, brand new common space with expansive deck and clean bathroom.

I believe they had 12 Pickleball courts. During open play (we went on a Saturday morning) they have they someone separated by ability (beginner thru advanced). Very nice courts with benches in the middle to wait for your turn. Most people were very nice and friendly. Was $10 for non members...well worth it as we spent over 2 hours playing many games.
Iluka Enright: ★★★★★
This place is so sick. The staff are so nice, the facilities also great - $100 for a month? No initiation fee? Open decent hours? Say less!

Small but mighty. Visited on: Weekday. Wait time: No wait. Reservation recommended: No

Whenever we are in town we stop here for a workout. The locals are somewhat tolerant of our sporadic drop-ins. My father has a cabin in incline. We usually buy a family pass for the week which is super reasonable. I love the basketball court and shooting around before I lift weights. The warm indoor pool for laps and fooling around with the kids is a great way to get out of a snowbound cabin and get some fun family exercise. I’m always perplexed at well funded fitness facilities of this size that have a tiny weight area and don’t have barbells. The facility is huge but they cram the hamster wheels and weights into a closet sized area. It’s a 1970’s health club model. The cardio/weight room is the most utilized area but it gets the least space. The entrance lobby is bigger than the gym. It would be nice to expand this space to accommodate the demand.

Equipment is old.

We love the IV Rec Center. The pool is great summer or winter. The exercise room equipment is all in good condition. They have indoor basketball courts, a ping pong table, refreshments area. Therapy and massage services are available.
Marie Skinner: ★★★★★
Love the pool and the courts they have. Great for the kids.

Great benefit of being a resident of Incline Village. Great facility and very friendly, helpful staff.

Between the classes, weight room, pool, and courts, there's not much that this recreation center doesn't have.
Elizabeth McGaffey: ★★★★★
Very clean. Lots of choices from swimming pool to exercise rooms. $16.00 per day. We played free ping pong. Other choices have costs.

A great place to cool off for the dogs with the creek. Where a dog can be a dog. But I’m sure glad I didn’t take my dog to the groomer.

I am a regular user of the pool. It is well maintained. The water temperature is well regulated and appropriate for intense swim workouts. The water is usually but not always clear. Both the men's and women's locker rooms are being renovated. They are therefore inaccessible and will be until sometime in the fall. Thus, there are no showers. Privacy tents are available on the pool deck for changing

Update Aug 2025: This place needs a safety audit. There are so many accidents waiting to happen that I’m surprised we haven’t seen more ambulance visits. Speaking with the staff and showing by example has not worked. IMO if you aren’t alreadyhighly competent around this equipment and know who to watch out for, find another gym. Someone’s going to get hurt. Prior review for reference: I hesitate to write a review for the IV Rec Center because I don't want it to get crowded, but here we are. This is a community funded (ie taxpayer) recreation center with a very nice pool, modern exercise equipment, adult and kids classes and programs, and a variety of other activities. While 'locals' (meaning those who pay a significant yearly tax) get a small discount, this recreation center is an amazing deal for anyone staying in town temporarily. WRT staffing, there have been problems in years past with unfriendly staff, but the current staff seems enormously friendly and eager to help. My compliments to the staff! Lastly, COVID restrictions have ended for vaccinated guests. The staff is still wearing masks and plastic shields are up in the reception, but otherwise the experience is 'normal'. Visited on: Weekday. Wait time: No wait. Reservation recommended: No
Negative Reviews:
Dagmar Xplatzer: ★★
The pool at this facility is excellent and a highlight of the experience. However, the gym leaves much to be desired. It is overly small and packed with equipment, making the space feel cramped and uncomfortable. The temperature in the gym is too warm, which makes workouts unpleasant esp. cardio. Unfortunately, there is no dedicated area for stretching or functional exercises, requiring you to take weights to an upstairs room that is not always available. The overall layout feels claustrophobic, and despite the local discount, the gym simply doesn’t justify the cost.
Kyle Kazmer: ★★
It was a nice facility but definitely not for the price. Prices were a major rip off… the pool was cold. Not a good family place. The kids thought the candy in the bowl was great though.
