6 indoor pickleball courts with portable nets on a gym floor in Tice Valley Community Gym in Walnut Creek, CA. Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 2pm from Sep 2, 2024 through May 22, 2025. $8 per session or $70 for a 10-visit sports pass that expires in a year. No cash is accepted. Bring your own indoor balls and paddle and wear non-marking court shoes. Orange/red balls not recommended as they blend with the red divider curtains and make the ball hard to see. Public rest rooms and water fountains are inside. Service is friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking.

ADULT DROP-IN PICKLEBALL
Drop-in pickleball will be available at Tice Valley Gym (2055 Tice Valley Boulevard)
Tuesdays and Thursdays: from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, starting September 2, 2025.
Fees are $8 per session or $70 for a 10-visit Sports Pass.

TICE VALLEY GYMNASIUM
There are three full-size courts to choose from. Courts 1 and 3 have bleachers. Court 2 has chairs. Facility staff set up the chairs as part of the gym rental. Each court accommodates 449 people, with a combined total of 1,347 for all three courts. There is equipment for basketball, volleyball, and badminton. Players must wear athletic shoes during active events.

Great place to watch youth basketball. They also host recreational sports, basketball, volleyball, and they have recently added pickleball. They used to have exercise classes like zumba, and I'm not sure if they do since covid.

i went there to see my granddaughter play CYO basketball. It has 3 large bb courts. The problem is because the are all side by side with open areas around the courts, it is hsrd to discern if the buzzers or even the referee whistles are for the team you are watching. The players would sometimes stoo play because of that. It disrupted the flow of the game. But iTice,Valley is a clean and large facility. Bathrooms had mutiple stalls and were also very clean. Not good for tournament play however.
