Bay Club Ross Valley is run by a great team, there are three pools, tennis courts, pickleball courts and lots of activities, including a fire pit and area to eat or hang out. The pickle ball open play is a great way to find games and meet people, they also have clinics for all levels, and the courts are well maintained. Love that there is a kid’s pool area and summer camps, and an area for adult swimming which is separate.

We recently joined and have had such a great time bringing the kids here for open swim.

The water is lovely, no chlorine, but saline instead! Staff is very friendly . This is a Club that requires a membership (I'm lucky to have been invited as a guest). Most people are friendly, a few snobs, but generally enjoyable!
Jason Veitch: ★★★★★
Fantastic facilities, staff was very welcoming. I had an awesome workout in the gym, followed by 50 lengths in the pool.

Awesome setup/solution during stay at home. Was hesitant to join as main indoor location is closed - but they did an amazing job of setting up pavilions and moving equipment outdoors. Everything is safely distanced and impressed with how much effort they put into it!

I used to work at the Bay Club, so I know just how nice it is. But after working at TRX and then Covid, I started doing most of my workouts on my own. Well today my beautiful wife gave birth to our first child, and since Marin General Hospital is right across the street, I decided to stop by. Jamie Hislop gave exceptional customer service, which reminded me why I always wanted to become a member again 🙌

Beautiful pool, great classes and the fireside yoga class is the best! Glad they are open a little later but wish this location and Marin club were both open as last as the East Bay locations (10pm)

My grandson Charles had his 18th birthday party at the Bay Club. We had a fabulous experience. The staff were also fabulous
Mike Strasser: ★★★★★
Great time of year at the pool (January) as there are no crowds.

Could not be more of a disappointment. This overly priced facility has three small and overcrowded pools, toilets that are permanently broken, ancient gym facilities, and doesn't bother to provide lighting for tennis courts. That's the good news. The swimming lessons I spent 3 months trying to book for my child resulted in us being stood up the morning of the lesson multiple weeks in a row with zero apology or recompense from management. You're literally better off taking hundred dollar bills and burning them than wasting your time at this abysmal facility. Anywhere else is better.

The lady at the front desk was absolutely rude and dismissive towards me when I came in for the first time. Will definitely not come back, and will definitely not recommend to anyone. The facilities are also not in the best shape. Overall disappointed.

Gonna start with the initiation fee. Do not expect your money back. We signed up two years ago with over $6000 initiation fee plus monthly fees and were told that we can get our initiation fee back after two years. Turns out they dropped the price of the initiation fee to $2500 and are now told that it is a "transferable" fee so at best we can only get 70% of the new fee (not the money we put in). Why are we quitting? I'd say that the Ross Valley club is way over subscribed for the size of it. It's impossible to find a seat at the pool on the weekend unless you go after 5pm and mid day it's a madhouse (at least in the summer if or on a hot day). The maintenance isnt there either, which is showing in the equipment and pool furniture. Is it worth checking out with really young kids. Sure ((maybe young elementary school). But don't trust that you will get any of your initiation fee back (assume you won't). And don't trust what they say, read the contract end to end and be ok if 2 months after you sign up, they drop the fee down to $0 so you won't get any money back.

Decent pool. Horrible and tiny locker room and shower. Very expensive. No food or bar options. Children summer classes are a disaster with no supervision or direction.

If you’re not part of an elite group then it’s not for you.

Overcrowded pool and expensive.
