There is free parking space. It is crowded on weekends. There is a children’s playground in the middle, a basketball court, and a place to rent boats. There are beaches on both sides. There is no shade. You need to bring your own parasol or pergola. You can safely let your children play.

Pickleball

Active pickleball community at Bayshore Pickleball Club. Bayshore Pickleball Club has been in existence for more than five years. Today there are more than 70 members who enjoy playing on the courts at Bayshore. They play Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday 8:30 am – 12 pm.

Perfect place for pickleball at sunset! Salty air, tons of seagulls in the background… Oh except when one of the basketball players brings a speaker and blasts his music… Otherwise great! Only one court and we got lucky that there were only 4 people who wanted to play pickleball so it worked out. Bathrooms available, and it’s right on the water where you rent kayaks. Lovely location.

The price is nice. But I do feel like you get what you pay for. My main complaint would be with the staff, they were not very helpful or inviting. The kayaks were ok, they are a little hard to steer (I am an experienced ocean kayaker) most likely because of the type/quality of kayak. There is a reasonably priced parking lot across the street and public bathrooms located right next to the hut where you rent the kayaks.

It was a warm day and there were lots of people congregating. And that's great. But what is astonishing, is the amount of people not wearing masks, standing face to face as if nothing is going on. That's pretty scary. But I will continue to wear my mask because I've had close people get the covid-19 and go through hell. I'm not going to be one of those. I would never step foot on that beach without a mask. Some humans have some amazing behavioral patterns. Almost lower than an animal in their way of thinking. But it's their choice and their life...🤔😱🤷‍♂️🙄👎💥

life guards did not mention we could not have life vests - waited in line 45 min and were counted and to head to wibit until the life guard on paddle board saw me and my granddaughter in the water did they mention anything. first guard should have said something .
