This is a nice little park with lots of amenities such as: bathroom, 2 sheltered BBQ areas with tables, basketball court, 2 horseshoe play pads, pickleball courts, playgrounds, pool, splash pad, community hall. Wow, all that for a small community park. Please note, Google maps shows the pool under construction as of July 14, 2025. My pictures are from July 14, 2025. You will run into homeless people.

Water splash pad open at 12 noon. Very clean and park maintenance worker was very helpful.

The pool is new and relatively big. It's a fun place on a hot day but kind of in a rough area of town if you're bougie. Playground: The playground is in decent shape. Restrooms: The restrooms are adequate. Dog-friendliness: Dogs on leashes only. Picnic area: The picnic area is relatively clean by the pool and water pad.

I loved this place took my 8 month old and 20 month old. There’s two separate playgrounds for the bigger kids and smaller kids

Very nice park. Clean & no homeless people hanging out. Bathrooms were spotless. Tables clean. Waterpark area clean from trash. Plenty of places for kids to play. Slide area not covered. So slides too hot. Possible burning for children's legs. Swings covered. Nice basketball courts too.
Maria Guerrero: ★★★★★
Fantastic park! Super clean with shaded tables and plenty of fun age-appropriate activities. Benches around perimeter. Parking on the street. When we went, there were kids of all ages, all super respectful. Open 3 to 7. Will definitely return.

Having the water park during the hotter part of the day was a Godsend! I've gone back several times just to walk through the water drops on my way through. Such a wonderful thing to have...

It is an awesome park except the fact that the homeless people out there wanted to rob me and kill me just to give out. I would have had nothing of value. The neighborhood is pretty nice. Alot of benches of BBQ setups with a water park kids play area and tennis court basketball court and much much more for your family to enjoy. Lost two stars because the homeless thought they could be successful at killing a handicap marine... perhaps next time instead of using 16 people they should try 16 more.

Very busy water park, fun for children. Park is clean, but depending when you go, there is an older crowd using the picnic tables, laying on them. I have never been approached or felt uneasy at the park. Go have fun with your kids, just keep them in your sight at all times, normal safety rules anytime your in a public place.

Nice place to take the kids to play in the water. Some of the objects with which the water comes out don't work but that's ok. Kids still have lots of fun. There's also a swimming pool and life guards. Costs you a 1.00 per person.

This is the perfect park all around plenty of people and kids everday it has 2 playgrounds plenty of picnic tables including 2 covered patio areas as well as a small water park area for the kids.( in the summer of coarse) it has public restrooms and plenty of field space to run around in i take my kids there for lasertag and it works out fantastically.

Nice park with good shade. I didn't notice bathrooms though. But it may have been an overlook of mine. Bathrooms would be a plus but the park was nice.
Rob Gonzalez: ★★★★★
It's pretty cool because it has a water park and a swimming pool. Also has a food truck that passes by mon-fri with free lunch.

Columbia Park.is a quiet( very well maintained by the city ,and the locals )park .there are some shade trees,BBQ pits and tables.the restrooms are very clean respectfully.and the children play areas are well maintained as well. the lawn is perfect for picknic, and there is a large swimming pool accessable seasonally .horse shoe pits and basketball court .just a stone's throw off off West main. just before the down town strip.

Decent, clean bathrooms lots of tables bbq pits playground, but sometimes there's homeless around for the most part decent park

Nice park me my wife kids and brother n law atoped here for lunch. I think we want to return to use the grill.
Negative Reviews:Shelly: ★★
The park has a small play area, basketball courts and some covered picnic tables. These are usually taken over by groups selling food out of ice chests. These park does contain a small water park feature for people to cool off, and just recently reopened the pool area. I give this park 2 stars due to limited seating and because the area can be sketchy. Playground: Small play structure. Picnic area: Limited picnic seating

This place is cool for being free. But that doesn't out weigh all the times the water shuts off more than it's on. Also not alot of shade and gets packed easily. Some of the water equipment doesn't work either. I would go here if it's a last resort.
Amy Trost: ★★
Would be a great park, except sometimes there are homeless people there who are often drunk, using drugs, fighting or cussing. I don't think it is very clean/sanitary with the drug use & homeless people using the park as a toilet.
