Scott Brager: ★★★★
Great city park. Recently repaved and remodeled playground and walking path. Lots of open space for playing. Ample picnic areas. Baseball field, tennis courts, and rollover hockey rink. City Poland community room also.
Ron Spoto: ★★★★★
Huge well planned spot for whatever you want. Playgrounds, swimming, teen center, exercise, tennis. Walking, just longing under a shade tree, picnics. Great get-away
Linda Parra: ★★★★★
Love this park, it is close to my place. I enjoy coming to this park from time to time to either go walk, jog, sit at one of the many benches the park provides and enjoy eating lunch or simply read a book under one of the beautiful trees. The park is close to Downtown Covina. The new playground looks fantastic. It is dog friendly, there is plenty of parking space. I do think the restrooms need improvement. I will like to see the city renovate the women's restroom in the future, they definitely need to be upgraded. There are some homeless people that hang around the park but they don' t bother anybody, other than that I enjoy coming to this park.
Bekah Michelle: ★★★★★
Grew up at this park so it's very nostalgic for me!! Great big trees that provide great shade! Fun playground (although so sad they had to remove the old original fire engine structure)! Lots of parking all around the perimeter of the park. Aquatics center is available, As well as a rec room. Summer concerts are fun to attend at the bandstand in the park.
Gerri Attanasio: ★★★★
Nice day to go for a walk. The park now has cushioned run/ walk path. And out door gym equipment. Shaded with trees . Looks like they are still working on play ground side of park. Tennis and basketball courts open. Didn't see homeless camps.

After all the recent upgrades they did to the park, how can you go wrong here? My kids learned to play soccer here, they learned to swim and have several events from lego camps, to Mami and me events, etc. Lots of green areas, playgrounds, workout machines, jogging/walking trails, pool, tennis courts, clubhouse, skating ring, squirrels and much much more.
Aladdin 626: ★★★★★

AJ Berg: ★★★
No safety or enforcement of laws that would improve quality of life here. Lots of loud amplified vulgar cursing music plugged in to city power. Open pot smoking all the time. Restrooms beat up and barely maintained. The guys playing basketball there on weekend mornings openly curse in a loud and angry manner, regardless of the kids playing in the area. In summary, more of a ghetto park than someplace for families and kids. Parks and rec staff are friendly and effective. New walking track is very nice. Pickleball courts were a nice addition but they need permanent nets.
Darren Hoffman: ★★★
Nice sized park with tennis & basketball courts. Restrooms are there, but not great. Lots of homeless on East side of park.
Blake Estrada: ★★★
My review would be five stars if they did something about the Homeless Problem. This park offers many amazing public events and services however I don't feel very safe bringing my daughter there. All of the staff is exceptional and courteous however, some of the homeless like to Heckle the guests of the park.
Resque Medic: ★★★
The park itself is nice and clean. Facilities are well maintained and there is no trash to speak of. The major downside to the park is the ever growing homeless population of the park. They seem to keep to themselves but with my 2 year old running it makes me nervous with thier dogs roaming around. Maybe I went on a bad day?
David Peeler: ★★★
It's a really great Park. I've lived in Covina my entire life. The only issue is it has a really bad transient issue. I wish the city would house them but I would imagine there is no money in the budget for that. Don't get me wrong, they don't bother you but it gives you a sense of insecurity regardless. Overall the park is beautiful, spacious and perfect for birthday parties for the kiddos.
Dennise Espinoza: ★★★
Nice playground but this park needs the restroom closer to the playground and cleaner restrooms !!!!
Christina Gomez: ★★★
Needs new restrooms closer to the playground. This would improve the public's opinion on safety considering the amount of homeless that stay at the park
Negative Reviews:
Andrea Rios: ★
There are more homeless people here than kids at any given time. And, a bus load of homeless were dropped off there on Thursday. I think they are trying to turn the park into a make shift shelter. They used to keep to the one side of the park away from the playground, but now, since they dropped the others off, they are camped out right between the playgrounds. It would not be so bad if they all stayed away from where the children play. There's a lot of space on the other side of the park.
Enrique Rodriguez: ★
I used to take my little nephew there all the time a while back and it was such a pleasant park.. but now is just crowed with homeless people always coming up to you asking for food, Money or any help you can give.. but if you give them none they get confrontesional.. I would avoid it at this time
Lionel Loredo: ★
there are alot of homeless hanging around not safe
Lisa De Anda: ★
We are here every week but this park is ghetto
Hector Gonzalez: ★
Too much drinking and homeless people don't go
Rose Krivchuk: ★
Too many homeless people being far too aggressive!
Danny Zim: ★
Nice park, just wish the city would do something about the growing homeless problem there. Don't feel too safe there with my kids after what happened at Lone Hill Park the other day. Google it. About a month ago, a homeless man was peeing in the picnic area maybe around 100 feet from where kids were playing.
Jessica Garcia: ★★
Not really any shade in the grass area of the park. Just a few little patches of shade where the parking is. The parking area is located around the perimeter of the park. Playground: Looked cool for the kids. Picnic area: Bring a blanket and fold up table and chairs. Not too many available at the park and they are taken fast.
Dawn Montanez (Seneca): ★★
potential for a nice neighborhood park. But due to the city not addressing the homeless situation people gravitate there for safety. Observed peole under the influence of substances. City of Covina should address these issues
infectedvector: ★★
Lot of guys at the BB courts smoking weed, loud music, shouting profanities. Not criminals but intimidating.
