My fitness instructor chose this park for our weekly workouts.We definitely like this park. Ladies if you are interested in assisting her fitness classes. She will be starting giving clases this summer beginning June 14 2021. Every Monday ,Wednesday Thursday & Saturday from 7:30a.m to 8:30 a.m until further notice. Very reasonable $$ price

So of course I Love Athens Park. This is my neighborhood park I grew up going to. This was Gompers Jr High Schools All Class Reunion. It was Awrsome. Great park for big events and small. Plenty grren grass and shade trees. Awesome llay area for the kids. Gymnasium, and baseball field, and of course swimming

Very dirty and neglected, for a month they have not cleaned or collected the dry leaves of the trees and it is slippery, several trees have been lost since they do not give them maintenance, they do not prune them and their large branches break or the trees fall completely, a lot of incompetence of the manager(s)
