This entire area has parks on both sides of the 170 (Hollywood) freeway, multiple jogging paths with exercise machines, library (only open weekdays), and many newly refurbished (artificial turf and stadium lighting) soccer fields with new bathrooms and picnic areas. There's also several tennis courts and baseball fields. The local Ralphs grocery store has been closed recently and it's going to be a Planet Fitness in a couple months. This whole neighborhood has undergone a major upgrade towards sports and fitness the last year! It's....amazing now!

It's a nice quiet place to stop and relax, especially on a weekday. There's shaded parking. You can also play basketball and tennis as well as other sports. There are also people running and walking along the paths.
Tony Hernandez: ★★★★★
Grew up here. Nice place to practice in . Baseball, basketball, soccer, and tennis. They have a pool too but only open in the summer. Oh they have a new small running track north from the library.

The reason I gave it a 4 star is because the restroom is so terrible it's just what It is a public restroom like to those in charge of public parks I hope you read this and do something about the restrooms like my kids go in there and they are disgusted but they got no choice and that's for all the parks please America lets get like stuff like that fixed but other than that this park is great for kids because there is always kids there and my kids love that they meet kids of all races which I love about that park they don't care about skin color all they care is that they are having fun and no negative vibes which is great for anybody and no racist people I'm sorry to say that but it's reality and those kids are gonna be running this country one day and I believe that 2 minds are better than one and I'm not nobody to speak about this but they don't judge and they have fun and everybody plays tag and nobody is left behind if you understand what I'm saying cause that's what America is about not being bullies or being ignorant and sending ice to kidnap people who are trying to get out of poverty and not everybody are terrorists like how this govt is portraying. If anything GOD forgives so why not humans. Isnt the motto in united States of America may GOD bless us..... So if you don't mind a black kid playing with a arab kid and a Mexican kid and a white kid playing tag then this park is not for you or a armenian kid laughing with a Russian kid or a Chinese kid laughing with a Colombian kid then I don't know what to tell you but this park is a fun park for everybody thank you and enjoy your day

Cute Park....With Pool!

It's a very nice park. Not far from the children's clinic and the WIC office. There are many different activities for children. There is a swing. There are exercise machines a little further away.
Edgar Bismarck: ★★★★★

(Remodeled playground. Lots of new things to play on. The new spinning swings were fun to play on. We had a lot of fun playing there at the playground! )

Great place for team sports with spectator attendance! It’s not quite the typical stadium scenario, tho with covered aluminum bleachers and wide pathways between the fields, it provides a good environment for several different teams to play different games at the same time without conflict. So I’m with here with a group to support and cheer for and to have a look around! The park is nice inside tho a little rough around the edges. The fields were good, pathways, facilities and picnic areas are kept clean and parking lots reasonably maintained. Parking will be alright with 2 to 4 separate games, each having a moderate amount of attendees. Beyond that could result in an overflow to street parking, thus vying with local apartment dwellers for space. The fields of synthetic turf were acceptably beautiful given the arid conditions. I was surprised to see that much green space upon arriving, until I realized it wasn’t natural. Tho with the rain, the turf will drain and the surface stays clean as it dries!

Valley Plaza Sports Complex was recently revamped. They added a friendly space for adults and kids to play soccer on AstroTurf. They added some additional parking spaces too. They finally created and placed a water fountain for you to refill bottles with ease! (included in my review pictures.) They still have a lot to complete on the other side of the park but the south side is beautifully done!
Rosalie Garcia: ★★★★★
This place is awesome for kids. Lots to do. I definitely recommend this place to take your kids. They have a toddler section and a big kid section. Playground: Huge playground! Restrooms: They do have restrooms. Dog-friendliness: Yes dog friendly.

Great playground. It is somewhat dirty and worn. It is crowded. But the playground is fun. Lots of different apparatus. Kids are friendly. There are a lot homeless but they do not go to the playground.
Jeff Shennette: ★★★
This park has the most impressive children's play area, it was renovated within the last 3 years, there is also an awesome workout area with calisthenic type equipment. The grass around the park is patchy and dry, I guess you can't ask for more as we are in the middle of a drought. There is ample parking in the large parking lot and on the street
Ryan Hudson: ★★★
Fields are nice but there's not much parking and a fence that is not accessible if your ball flys over
Jim Walsh: ★★★
This place is good if you just need a baseball field for practicing on. There's what really nice field that's locked up and has a Toluca Lake sign on it. There's also a bunch of nice looking soccer fields that may or may not be open for public use. But there's three or four beat up old looking fields that are just great as utility Fields if you need to practice or want to play kickball or have a quick pick up game
ALEJANDRO Martinez: ★★★
Good fields but poor control, people drinking beer on the field

Very bad service. There are several people and they all tell you different things, and the worst part is that they make you go around in circles and never resolve anything. You take your children, excited that they're going to stay for a class again and again, and they always tell you it's not possible, to come back another day. Or maybe they're racist, I don't know, but I don't recommend it.
Sophia Gill: ★
HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION!! one person tells you one date then one waits for the date THEY tell us and then the date comes and another person says it’s “too late to register now”. Your better off finding a better place that communicates everything CORRECTLY!
HEATHER: ★★
We just want everybody to be super careful when going to the park because they're having coyotes spotted in the park for the last 3 years and they're getting more and more aggressive and they're not afraid to confront humans and animals especially if you have small dogs so please be super careful with put posters or notices around the park that let people know about the coyotes
Yair Rivera: ★★
It's a great place for soccer games but not a good place to just hang out. To much dirt. But on Saturdays and Sundays you can hear people screaming in the afternoon while kids play socce
The Wuzes Family: ★
For the coach who was teaching “boxing”. I signed my kids up for a boxing course and the same day they started I signed them out! I’m not sure what academic background the coach had but the way this man was talking to the kids was unacceptable. The moment I signed my kids up, we walked in the the small gym where the class was taking place. Without introducing himself or asking for my kids names, at the least, he rudely told them, you’re late!! Jumping jacks! My kids were confused and wondering why they were getting a consequence if they had just walked in the gym. This was upsetting because my youngest is 5yrs old and has autism, he didn’t understand the reason behind it and explaining it to him wouldn’t have made sense. I’m addition, my husband came in right after me and saw the coach talking to me and my children in a rude way, once my husband addressed it, he became hostile and wanted to fight my husband 😳 seriously!! I hope every parent in that room watching the man belittle their child, signs their child out! The only thing he’s doing is affecting their mental/emotional health..smh.
