Pickleball courts in Santa Monica, Los Angeles County

This place is so much fun. The courts play very well with very few ball on's. It's so new and clean and there's a shade area to relax. They thought of everything!

The guy working there, Tyler, is super respectful and helpful. The courts are kept in amazing condition and the music they play is good. There are opportunities to demo some Joola paddles and you can be provided with balls. I would 100% recommend.

This is a beautiful outdoor court where you can play day or night. The staff is incredible and it is immaculately maintained. Easy parking at the structure on 4th. Free for an hour and a half!! Don’t fret about street parking. If I could give this place more stars I would!! Restrooms and water available!

The whole experience is extremely well done w great facilities and a great staff. Nothing more you could ask for. Probably the best pickleball club in West LA.

Wide selection of paddles but I had my mind set on the crbn Tru foam 3. Guys at the front were super chill and let me check the weight on a few of the paddles in stock to find a weight that I preferred. Great experience here

The single best selection of paddles I've seen, great products, staff know their stuff/friendly, and a pretty sweet setup. Great store if you are a in the market for an elite paddle.

SMPC has a really good selection of Pickleball paddles for all level of players, shoes and accessories, which is why I picked this place in hopes to purchase my very first paddle. Upon entering the shop I was immediately greeted by Ricky. After some Q and A Ricky pulled out some paddles for me to demo on the mini court. Trying out the different paddles and getting feedback from Ricky ultimately gave me the confidence to purchase my paddle from here. I really appreciated Ricky's patience and knowledge about the different brands they offer, and their features and benefit's. I highly recommend this place!

I have met many new friends in the past 18 months and cannot imagine life without them. After a class, it's common to exchange numbers with people you've just met and ask "do you play on weekends?" or "how often do you come to the clinics?" or "do you want to get a group together and play this week?" While pickleball can be a competitive sport, our posse is always supportive no matter what the level! Santa Monica Pickleball Center promotes team spirit, fun and proper instruction. The coaches keep it all going every day. I admire and like all of the instructors but one stands out: Theo! He has a great British sense of humor and makes us all feel welcome. It's mostly "high fives" and constructive adjustments when we make an error. We're all just there to have fun,move and learn. Theo makes that easy. Whether I show up alone or with my husband and daughter, he's always friendly and ready to make the class upbeat and supportive. He gives great advice and points out when you're making progress. I am looking forward to working with Theo and improving my game moving forward. I feel younger today than I ever have before -- I am at SMPC almost every single day and I wouldn't change a thing. Thank you, Santa Monica Pickleball Center!

This is a Great place for all levels! If you are looking to play liveball there are many options - liveball with theo is the best. And if you ever get a chance to take a class by coach Jessica - do it! Great coaches and staff all around.

This place is amazing. Great paddle selections, cool courts, plenty of parking. The staff there are friendly and so helpful whether you are looking for paddles, shoes, or want to join a pickleball session with their coaches. Highly recommend this facility if you live around the neighborhood!

Pickleball paradise right in the heart of Santa Monica. Whether I'm there to play on the courts or buy some gear, I always have an amazing experience at this place. They boast a massive selection of pickleball paddles, perhaps the largest I've seen in LA. You can even demo any of the paddles on one of their brand new pickleball courts. If you're still unsure, you can even take a couple of demo paddles home with you for extra reps, which is incredibly helpful when deciding on a new paddle. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, prices are competitive, and the shop has everything you need.As for the courts themselves, they are top-notch. Always welcoming, meticulously maintained, and spotlessly clean. You can book a private court for yourself and your group or take private lessons, join clinics, or play live-ball with one of their pros. It doesn't matter if you're a beginner or an experienced player; this place caters to everyone. As an experienced player myself, I've found my pickleball sanctuary here at the Santa Monica Pickleball Center. I will definitely be returning for all my pickleball needs in the future.

I LOVE Theo's live ball and private lessons- he is so patient and knowledgeable. My game has improved so much with his instruction. He is easy going and uplifting and has built up my confidence 10 fold- thank you Leo!!

Pickleball courts on Wilshire Blvd in Santa Monica??? Driving or walking by, you would never know there were 4 beautiful new pickleball courts with permanent nets on the other side of the front door. Love playing on these pristine courts. They have a large selection of demo paddles and a mini court to try out the paddles. Everyone is friendly. It's very chill there and it's great to see so many great players playing. Shout out to Sona, GuavaLava! It's always a pleasure playing on these courts! Parking is easy and it's on the Westside!

I love Santa Monica Pickleball Center! The pros are great and the live ball clinics are super fun! Everyone who works there is super nice...it's like one big family! I just had an incredible lesson with Theo the other day! He was so patient and gave me such good constructive instruction...can't wait until my next lesson! And they have a great pro shop too! Purchased several pairs of shoes and paddles there. Highly recommend!!!

Really love the energy and vibe at SMPC. Have been here several times and each time has been amazing. Great coaching and facilitating of live ball and clinics. The staff really keeps everyone going and is very mindful of trying to integrate everyone on the courts so people feel included.

Live ball at SMPC on Monday mornings is the perfect way to start the week. The level of play is excellent, the team running the program is outstanding, and my skills are improving with each session. I love that I can demo paddles, get my paddle regripped, and get all my pickleball gear so close to home. I can't recommend SMPC highly enough.

I have had a great time doing liveball at SMPC. it is a very fun group with the best coaches. The store has all the paddles you can think of and if they don't you can ask them and usually they will be able to get them in. The prices are competitive and not overpriced as well and different items between paddles, shoes and accessories to choose from.

I am so grateful I found Santa Monica Pickleball Center. I was having fun playing recreational pickleball for a while, but I got to a point where I wasn't getting better on my own. This place has all the tools to improve my game: Group lessons from beginner on up, the best drill clinics, LiveBall that is both fun and helpful by putting what you learn into practice, and private instruction. Top-notch pros bring their real-life experience to explain smart, practical strategy and help develop skills for each level of player. Sign-up for programs/lessons is simple and convenient. And after a recent re-surfacing, they have the best courts I have played on! Courts are available to rent so that I can play private games if I want. The shop has a great selection of gear and clothing and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. A tremendous addition to the already-vibrant Santa Monica pickleball community!
