I appreciate a good park, more than most. We didn't have many safe, functional and accessible recreational centers where I grew up. I have visited and enjoyed so many in Los Angeles and this one is well kept and offers some of the best activities. Multiple playground areas for kids, designed by age groups in mind. There are baseball and football fields, basketball and tennis courts, a pool, walking paths, hiking and individual bathroom facilities. The parking lot has limited space but it's free in the surrounding streets.

Yeah... first to review one of my favorite parks. This lovely park includes a large outdoor basketball court. It comes equipped with both a 4 sided baseball field and a batting cage with ball shooter. It has a kids playing area with some cool things such as a sliding suspension bar I haven't seen at other parks. It also has an olympic pool for the summer and a building I'm not sure what its for. Why i like this park.We play alot over here. They say no soccer but really everyone does. There is alot of friendly pickup games of basketball here since most of the people that live in this area are pretty friendlyThere is a hill behind the park where everyone goes to hike up. Not a bad hike. I'm talking 20 mins maybe less. You get to hangout and enjoy the view maybe even come here during 4th of July to watch Fireworks. There is also 2 tennis courts attached to this place at the back. Pretty awesome place.

Woodland Hills Recreation Park is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather with your family and friends. With so many trees providing shaded areas, you will always be able to find a nice cool place to lay out. The baseball fields, football fields, tennis courts and outdoor basketball courts provide lights for anyone who wants to play into the night. There are also two playground areas, one for children and other for toddlers. The jungle gym has monkey bars, slides, swings and tunnels for kids to play in. It is surrounded by sand, which could help prevent serious injuries to children if they happen to fall from the jungle gym.The park facility also includes a seasonal pool with separate changing rooms for men and women. There is also a indoor gymnasium which holds up to 300 people. Youth activities are held there such as ballet, basketball practices, cheerleading, arts and crafts, dance practices and many other activities. Inside the gymnasium there is a kitchen to cook and store food for any birthday parties, or dance performance you may have. Woodland Hills Recreation Park also provides an indoor fitness gym, however there are no weights, only cardio machines, such as treadmills and bicycles. I've never seen a park that offers so much to their community. Coaches were holding football practices and soccer practices, and all the kids were running around laughing and having a great time. Many parents brought lawn chairs and sat, watched and cheered for kids as there were running around. A ballet practice had just finished and all the girls ran outside from the gymnasium right on to the jungle gym as the waited for their parents to pick them up.An elderly woman was sitting on a picnic table cutting and eating an apple while watching all the toddlers running around laughing. She told me, she loves to come here and "just relax," "it's such a nice and peaceful environment."Woodland Hills Recreation Parks seems to be a nice, fun and safe area for kids to run around in and for families to have fun at. Most parks I've been to usually has a field, some sort of court to play basketball or tennis on and a small jungle gym for kids. The Woodland Hills community went above and beyond to build a park like this for their residents. I will definitely come back here in the near future with friends and family of mine to sit and have a nice picnic and then later on play a game of football or basketball. Very nice, clean park..with clean restrooms. You can hike up the hill and enjoy scenery. There are two tennis courts on the other side too.

Just a nice place to hang out, walk the dog or take a hike. There's public tennis courts as well...πŸ‘ŠπŸΌπŸ’šπŸ‘ŠπŸΌ …

The park looked nice. They DO NOT have pickleball courts even though there are a couple of pictures showing that they do. Those pics should be removed
Negative Reviews:

The new pool is open but the staff is more concerned with rules than anything else. Clearly it is run by litigious lawyers who are more concerned with creating a laboratory environment than a place where your kids can actually have fun. No floaties, no jumping in the pool, no piggy back rides in the pool, no pool toys, and what really put me over the edge was no life jackets for infants! Save your $3.50 and go to a private pool or head to Calabasas Swim and Tennis Center. This place sucks!
