I love to walk around Gibbons park because of all the trees. And met so many wonderful people. And also am now playing Pickle Ball at the park.
Kevan Howard: ★★★★★
Great park to bring the dogs for a walk, shoot some hoops, play tennis or pickle ball. Nice playground for the kids, with clean bathrooms near and exercise stations along the walking trail . Several good spots for picnicking, or to just lay out a blanket and relax. Overall, this is a really nice, well-kept park, and the local community loves it.
Trevor Gillette: ★★★★★
This is one of the nicer pickleball courts around even though there's a ton of cracks that make it harder to play. It would also be improved with having lights to play after dark. There is 6 courts which is quite a bit but as it gets hotter, it would be better to have the option to come when it's cooler, later in the evening.

It’s super cool and good neighborhood and all. But two of the tennis courts have cracks so if they fixed that, that would be cool. Update August 2022: THEY DID FIX THEM! Fresh new tennis and pickleball courts.

This is a wonderful, large park with plenty of space for activities. There are tennis courts, basketball courts, playgrounds, water fountains and bathrooms, citrus trees, and acres of grass. I took entirely too many pictures to give a sense of the space. There are two places to park your car/motorcycle - the large parking lot near the community center, and street spots on Cypress.

Park has many swings, basketball court, tables with sits, place for parties, BBQ and toilets. So many trees are there, some of them are citrus trees, some of them are olives and pine trees. Open and wide acres of grass. Such a beautiful place. Just loved it.

Its a pretty big park with a community center, full basketball court, 3 or 4 tennis courts 2 playgrounds and picnic bench area with clean restrooms. And alot of grass and shade.

A great place for kids from 1 to 99. Great play area for both younger and older kids. There are basketball courts, tennis courts and a recreation center. There is a BBQ area and picnic tables. There are are to stop and exercise. The grass is always green. Some of the trees make me nervous as they are old and many of them look a little unsafe. Our family lives going hete Mu

Nice place, not lonely one. There's always people. It has two tennis courts, basketball court, large field, bicycle traits, walking traits around the park, and of course a big children's corner. This is one of my favorite parks in San Juan District.

My son's favorite park and he calls it the "sun" park because the play structure has a sun on top (I never noticed till he pointed this out). Gibbons Park has just about anything you would want in a park. There are two sets of tennis courts, a basketball court, concrete walking or riding paths throughout, party area with tables and benches, and a few areas to barbecue. There are two play structure areas for the kids, one for the younger children and one for the older ones. A small third section has two swings plus a tire swing. There is plenty of space to set up a volleyball game on grass and they tore down the old restrooms within the last 2 years and built a new structure with updated restrooms.

It's nice community park. It's good but feels like it could have a little bit more love here, a little bit more care there. I wish I can do 4.5 for a rating.
Karen Gross: ★★★★
I danced tango there. My friend hoped to charge a piece of equipment while there. Background: he is a senior citizen on a low fixed income, and only charges this battery once a week while attending this event. He was told this time that he could not charge the battery and, in fact, the Center doesn't even allow people to charge cell phones there. I find this bizarre. Positives: Always clean, well-maintained. Nice playground. I always have fun dancing there, but this is more due to the dance event host than to the Center's actual staff.
