Court Rotation Rules

East Side Courts

Courts 1-2 & 7-9 will follow a “2 on 2 off” rotation. Use the paddle wheel outside Court 1 to form a lineup. Incoming players have the choice of whether to split. Winners should stay on for no more than 3 consecutive matches. If there are more than 8 paddles up on this side, rotation changes to “4 on 4 off” but still goes in order of the paddle wheel.

Court 3 is the Challenge Court. 2 on 2 off, with winners staying together. Winners may stay on as long as they keep winning. Use the paddle rack outside of Court 3.

Court 7 is also our Teaching Court. Priority must be given to SPC and SRPD teaching pros giving lessons or clinics. Otherwise, it will be use as part of the general “2 on 2 off” rotation.

West Side Courts

Courts 4-6, 10-12 will follow a “4 on 4 off” rotation at all times. Use the paddle rack outside Court 10 to form a lineup – place four paddles at a time. You must have four people in your group before you can take the next open court.

Public Courts

Courts 9 & 10 are also designated as Public Courts. During club hours, non-members are restricted to these 2 courts. Club members may not play with non-members on these courts during club hours and will vacate the courts promptly whenever non-members arrive to play. If no members of the public are waiting, these two courts may be used by members as part of the general “2 on 2 off” or “4 on 4 off” rotation respective to that side. Please be aware that the club cannot require that the general public follow our rotational rules.

This park is huge. There are play structures, many ball fields, pickle ball courts, a nice community pool, a stream runs through it and I logged a 2.5 mile walk on paths and around the perimeter. It's a lovely park

Good condition pickleball courts, beautiful wooded park, fantastic pool, good gym, basketball courts, wonderful place! There are a few street people, but they are not aggressive and generally stay out of sight. But you do want to keep an eye on the kids.
Rachel Melgaard: ★★★★★

Nice park, public pool available. Pickleball courts and playgrounds for kids. If you have a large group watch out as homeless will try to infiltrate to get food and drink. Happened to us. That was the one hiccup.
Douglas Gilb: ★★★★
Was here to watch the pickleball tournament. I did not get a chance to play on the courts, but they looked to be in good condition. Bring your own chairs though, there are no benches out here.
Rodney: ★★★★★
This is the number one park to play Pickle Ball in Sacramento County! Their are twelve courts and very competitive players. If you are in the neighborhood stop by and have a great time. Everyone their is friendly and thr players are from beginners to advance! Good luck
Jose Guerrero: ★★★★★
Nice pickleball courts. Limited public use courts. If you can afford it, get the membership. Youll get better access and will support court expansion/improvements. Fun events held by the pickleball club here. Competition is fierce.

This place has 6 pickleball courts that are the best on the area. In 2019 there should be 10 pickleball courts, with an extra championship pickleball court. Right now there are two tennis courts which lack maintenance and have little use. Those will be converted to pickleball courts in 2019. There is also a nice swimming pool with many programs. As some have said there are sometimes homeless people hanging out in the grassy area, but they don't seem to bother anyone.
Judy Roberts: ★★★★★
Pickleball has brought me to Rusch Park. The best exercise that you don't realize you are exercising. This is my new favorite workout. If you can walk, you can play this wonderful game.

I love this park I grew up here it's gotten better over the years but it still could use the work. Overall it's a good park has picnic areas playgrounds skatepark bathrooms even swimming and tennis.
Jennifer Brooks: ★★★★
The swimming pool has a great swim team for 6 yrs and up to 18 years. They're called sunrise sharks. We often walk the paths, and they have very peaceful areas. It's beautiful in the evening. The parks are full of kids playing, and we love having our little play and socializing there. Be aware that there are areas with homeless/ the smell of drugs being smoked. They don't go around the children areas but just want full transparency in my review. Some restrooms are cleaner than others.
Oksana Bugriyev-Gorodetskaya: ★★★★★
