This is my local park, and I love it. But what I don't love is that Saybrook has been, and continues to be a haven for drug dealers. The most recent issue has been people selling balloons full of Nitrous Oxide, called "Whippets", to children. These people are bringing 2 liter canisters of N2O to the park and dispensing it in balloons to CHILDREN. I watched a group of 3 young children leave Saybrook and sit down at a table in Northside Park to huff Nitrous Oxide. I warned the afterschool coordinators at the adjacent elementary school and they have started to be more vigilant.

We all like this park. Clean, big, and have a rug. Nice place to bring your kids or just to relax.

Park is a nice place but there's still too many homeless and drug dealers everywhere. They used to always be a police car in the park during the day. Now you don't see them anywhere in the neighborhood. Sherif too busy.
Hector torres: ★★★
There some times crazy junkies near the taco truck but it’s still a good park and school to come to 👍👍👍😀
