Great park with a lot of different things to do. Skate park, basketball, swimming, tennis courts, open fields, and so much more. I love it for the walking and running. Playground: Really fun looking playground area. Restrooms: Restrooms are standard for a public park. Dog-friendliness: I love taking my dog to this park. Picnic area: Not a lot of standard picnicking at this park. But plenty of areas to set up towels and chairs.

This is a very big clean park. Good walking distance, lawn tennis area, pick Nick area, basketball area, children's play grounds and equipments, skating area, ballet dancing area and much more, my thing is, it is very very clean and well kept. I lived in this area for fourteen years and still visit the park after I left the area. My family still lives adjacent to the park. This is even where I still come to drop my voters card. It is a safe place as far as I know. Rest rooms are clean as for dogs, as long as one keeps his/her dog in check, it is ok.
Melissa Burnett: ★★★★★
I love this park for walking. It's huge and 4 times around the entire park and my 10k steps are done! It's clean, well kept and there are a few baseball fields, tennis court, play area for kids, skate park, bathrooms, basketball court and swimming pool. During the summer and spring months it can get pretty packed.

This park is perfect to do my daily walk. I have always felt safe to walk there by myself (around 11am). It has different paths you can choose whether to do a long walk or cut it short. They have a playground for the kids, basketball courts, tennis and even have a skate board area. Definitely recommend.

There are 2 parks near are home. The other one is closer but we prefer this park. It's always very clean and has a very large areas for the children to run and play in the grass. They have 2 playground 1 for smaller children. There are basketball courts, tennis court and even a designated skateboarding area. They have a running area around the park area. I know that they have designated movie Nights In The Summertime and musical concerts but we've have not attended any yet.

Fun park with a variety if activity areas. They have a pool, skate park, tennis courts, baseball diamonds , basketball court, jungle gym, open grassy areas for soccer or other things and walking paths. The bathrooms are kinda dirty. The park is usually pretty busy.

Clean newer good size park. Has a few beverage machines, kids playground, skate park, hoops, tennis courts a few fields for soccer or? Outdoor swimming, baseball fields walking trail with very few excersise stops, volley ball a few covered benches but not much manufactured shade elsewhere some shade alongside trail where pine trees are. If that werent enough the awesome amphitheater, pool, rec center and it just is an park filled with lots of awesome things suprisingingly. You can catch it appears any bus there as well looks like a mini station for buses may pick up there. Of course my dog loves the occasional bunny or squirrel sighting as well as fellow dog walkers and smells.

I like to take long walks in Marie Kerr Park. There is a trail that surrounds the park approximately a mile long. Theire are also walkways that cut through the center of the park. The park has a softball complex of 5 or six playing fields. There is another public field always available to the public. There are a couple of basketball courts, tennis courts and a volleyball court. There is a small skateboard park and play area for kids. There is also rec building with a basketball court and weights and a separate outdoor swimming pool. There are a few areas to picnic. And finally, there is an amphitheater that hosts concerts and other events. The park is very pleasant and feels safe.

You'll have trouble finding bathrooms but the park itself is large and full of tons of things to do for kids as well as adults alike

In general, I would have said that I liked this park, but experience has changed our opinion (see below). Younger kids had fun on the playground and it was good for long walks for the adults. The playground was not good for middle aged kids, so they would gravitate to the skate park in the corner. The skate park however does not allow Ezyrollers which is all my son can ride safely, so he and his friends felt left out. I get its a safety thing, but at least have something else he could do on Ezyrollers. Also, there is no fence around the basketball courts so kids run through while you are playing which can be dangerous... and you are always chasing the ball. Also be aware that when little ones run off from the playground, its not easy to find them due to the uneven layout of the land etc. There is no easy sight lines. Update: After my review above, we don't go to this park anymore. Sadly, we went on spring break, when there were teens hanging out. I suddenly felt the urge to leave and got out of there... but my group of friends behind us were present for the shooting in the parking lot by the kids playground. In all the chaos we lost my son's backpack which is hard on autistic kids. I don't know what caliber gun was used, but the bullets went all the way across the street and hit the restaurants with big holes. My friend and her tiny kids were right there when it went down and people in the conflict were literally hiding behind her car. So my advice is when its spring break, holidays, or when the teenagers are out... just don't go here. I have not been back since then simply because my son is too old for the playground and there are other parks where Ezyrollers can have more fun and those parks are quieter.

It was a special event~good art~horrible parking arrangements

The park and venue they provide are great for the community. But the services/food vendors are ridiculous!! I waited 45 minutes to get something to eat and then gave up. It looked like I was going to wait another hour before even ordering. A older gentleman passed out from waiting, standing in line. They had to call paramedics. They need to expand their food services or allow people to bring in food.

Been there a few times to play at the basketball courts. There are (2) courts, the one closest to the parking lot is where the supposed “ballers” play. The other court is where everyone else plays. I played several games on the “baller” court and I wasn’t impressed. I’m new to the park so no one picked me up, which is cool. As usual, there are cliques. When I did get picked up, they didn’t pass the ball. Most of the time, one or two players on my team didn’t play D. Don’t waste your time on that court. I generally go to shoot around on the other court, just to build up a lather and get the blood pumping. Go with your group of guys, if not, don’t waste your time.

Its a big nice park with a skate park, soccer fields, softball fields, and baseball fields. Alot of room to walk also there is nearby pool area that i dont know much about but this park is very crowded during summer and the people at the skate park are just rude to everyone.

Pretty dirty bathrooms are gross
Stephen Xythil: ★★★
Pretty clean, barely crowded. The community center is usually full of activity along with the pool. A good place to jog in laps.
Tonia Crews: ★★★
Windy!! While having a special event outdoors, the park thought it would be a great idea to send a tractor down the middle blowing grass all over in the wind. I was not impressed.
Jesse Lyons: ★★★
Only park in the AV that has a skate park.
Izaiah Oliva: ★★★

isaac acuna: ★★★

I wanted to give this park 0 or no stars if I had the option this is a park that races alot of concern for the safety of our kids the incident that recently happen is a big facts to everything that has been going on at this park having 5 teenagers in the age of 16 and 17 getting shot at is alarming concern for the mayor of palmdale to jump into actions also to improved cameras and security specially now when we not only deal with a epidemic and the only places avaible for our kids to have a brake of been lock at home is a park that is not longer a safe place no more we are in big problems ....I really will like for whoever manage this parks to step up and figure this situation out together with the city of palmdale and the mayor of palmdale .....im here leaving this message cuz im one the parents that forever I will have to deal with the emotions of hearing my kid on the phone about her getting shot at ....a call you will never wanna received been a parent. City of palmdale might soon be on one the top list of unsafe city's to leave in if we continue like this .

My wife and I have a love/hate relationship with Marie Kerr Park. Where do I begin? We come here for our daughter, the various accessible playgrounds do encourage her to be active and play--so that's the positive. The majority of families that comes here a very uppity, so chill out, you're all still in the AV. Security could do a better job as various times there have been teens and couples engaging in adulterous acts in the bathroom. Your rec center... it's awesome to have it for the kids especially with how hot it is out here, but your staff is garbage. Not all of them, but I'm not gonna let someone who is being paid on our tax dollars roll their eyes at my kid or anyone else's kids. You can not force people out before closing just because you want to get going. Be grateful to have a job during these hard economic times. Do not give me attitude because my kid wants to play. Don't not make other parents feel bad or force them to cut their child's play time short because you weren't in the mood to stick around a few more minutes. To your supervisor, the evening of 8/10/25 around 19:52 (7:52PM), these girls forced out a father and his child, and went out to collect the rented balls from parents and kids still using them. I left and called out their unprofessional behavior before they could even start with me.

Great park, but lots of traffic noise. After months of closure for work and unknown expense, the "refurbished" fields are pathetic. Soaking wet low spots all over the field (see video). Update: "refurbished" fields are now mostly dead patches.
Gary Tarbell: ★★
It's not that bad, just compared to newer parks, it is an awkward layout, poorly formed transitions, and really bad maintenance repairs. Good lighting and at least some interesting little transitions. If you can kill this janky stuff, you'll be fire at a well made park. Feels like DIY. The locals should mod it.
S S: ★★
This park is badly in need of full-sized trees Too Hot to have saplings
