A hidden San Francisco gem, this park is well used and well maintained. It's popular with dog walkers, and families with kids, since it has a large playground. There's a fenced-in baseball field, which is sometimes used for games, but more often dogs playing fetch (even though theoretically that isn't allowed). I've occasionally seen coyotes at twilight, but otherwise it feels very safe at night. There's a BBQ pit that you can rent for events, and it's often used for kids birthday parties. There are also enclosed tennis and basketball courts, which seem to be first come, first serve (sorry!) in practice. The restrooms seem well maintained, and I've seen a lot of delivery drivers use them, since there are so few other public toilets in the neighborhood. As you might be able to tell, I love Holly, and take our dogs there several times a week (but not in the baseball field, the bigger dogs can be a bit rough for our pups). It's not large, but it's perfectly formed, an oasis of calm in a busy city.

A cool little park. It's just off the Cross Town trail and in my opinion should have been a stop. Great views from the top, plenty of benches. Apparently lax enforcement of the dog policy on the field when no one's playing ball. Lots of benches and picnic tables around. Not crowded on a sunny Sunday afternoon in June.

Golly what a little gem. Tiny park on a hilltop in the neighborhoods of San Francisco. There's a basketball court, a baseball (i think...) field, a lovely playground with swings and slides and roundabouts... Just delightful. All with expansive views of the bay. It's a little den of privilege, no doubt, but it's lovely, and I'm very happy for the fortunate children who play there. Let's emulate it for as many children as possible.

Great park with AMAZING views! We took our pup with us to Holly Park in San Francisco, and I love the nature mixed with urban. There are 2 separate playgrounds, for small children and bigger kids. There are picnic areas and a clean bathroom. In the center of the park, there are tennis and basketball courts., and the are all fenced in. The wind blows, but I love the air. There are walking trails around the entire park and tons of wild flowers, trees, and beautiful green grassy areas. Our pup, Moss, loved every bit of it! We will definitely be back ♥️✌️

One of the smaller hilltop parks in Bernal Heights, which gives a decent view of Twin Peaks and the surrounding area. When I visited, there were a bunch of owls up in a tree!
