Best Tennis and Pickleball courts in Yorba Linda, Orange County for 2026

Las Palomas Park Tennis and Pickleball Courts in Yorba Linda, CA

2 lighted tennis courts, 4 pickleball courts in Las Palomas Park in Yorba Linda, California. Well maintained. Courts are hidden away in a residential neighborhood. There are only 4 courts and the rest are two tennis courts. Tennis courts also get busy, seeing people patiently wait. There are also some tennis classes held on the courts by the city.

It’s a reservation system and play is now from 8 am-9 pm. Busy times are 8 am-noon and then again from 5 pm-close. There’s a easy rotation system and half the courts seem designated for advanced versus beginner/intermediate players. Enter through the gates and place your paddle onto the rotation rack. It’s that easy to rotate in as a single player. The people are wonderful and willing to teach new pickleballers.

Parking can be tough at times. Do not park in front of any mailboxes. Park on the same side as the courts and not in front of houses.

Bring a chair if you plan to stay long. Lights turn off at 9:50 pm. Night lights are very bright.

Restrooms are pretty clean and next to the courts. Tennis and pickleball courts, bathroom and water fountains make this a nice neighborhood pickleball joint.

Good courts. Great people. We're new to pickleball and have been here 3-4 times now. Everyone's been so nice to us and very helpful with tips.
Natasha Hamo: ★★★★★
Reservation based courts from 4-9 pm. Residents reserve for free and non-residents pay $15 to reserve per hour.
Aldo Tristan: ★★★★
The courts are great but it's very busy since it's part of a housing community.
Roy Kim: ★★★★★
Friendly people. Love to go here.
Ronnie P.: ★★★★★
Have not played there yet. Just found it by accident but looks absolutely gorgeous! Can't wait 😁 …

Never a dull moment there at LP. 2 tennis courts, 4 pickleball courts and a doggie park. The people are wonderful and willing to teach new pickleballers. People are pretty fair for the most part when it comes to order of play. It’s a paddle system or just ask. Parking can be tough at times. Do not park in front of any mailboxes. Park on the same side as the courts and not in front of houses. Bring a chair if you plan to stay long. Lights out at 9:50pm. UPDATE 10/14/24 Now it’s a reservation system and play is now from 8am-9pm. Restrooms: Pretty clean and next to the courts. Dog-friendliness: I always see lots of dogs and their owners there
Jamie Johnson: ★★★★★
Love going here for pickleball. Follow the paddle order system to jump in a game. Go in morning before it gets too hot.

4 pickleball courts & 2 tennis courts. Pickleball is open play and open from 7am-4pm. Busy times are 8am-noon. Paddle system for drop in play per court. Local residents have encouraged city Parks & Rec to change the schedule and from 4pm-9pm it's either classes or reservations only. To reserve a court, YL residents can reserve up to 2 weeks in advance. Non-Residents up to 1 week but it's impossible to get a court if you aren't on the system the 1st second reservations open up which is 4pm 2 weeks prior. Good luck! Tennis courts also get busy, seeing people patiently wait. There are also some tennis classes held on the courts by the city. Restrooms are conveniently located right next to the courts. Night lights are very bright. Restrooms: Clean & Conveniently next to the courts. Dog-friendliness: Many dogs walked off leash in the park.

Small, 3 well kept tennis courts. Tucked away in a residential neighborhood, there is no way you would stumble across it, you definitely have to be looking for it.
Evan C.: ★★★
Just ok. Tennis courts are well maintained. They are a bit slow. Park is a bit "hidden" in the residential area.
Carson Mason: ★★★
Getting very crowded with non-resident people and taking up parking spots that are intended for residents
